That’s repentance if you really not going back to sin again but if we backslide again and again that’s means it’s by choice for those people the Bible says in what the Bible says is very serious Hebrew 6:4-6 - It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tested the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, V 5. Who have tested the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age, V 6. If they fall away, to be brought back to repentance, because to their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjected him to public disgrace. Hebrew 9:25-28 says… please read the Bible what the Bible says. Nor did he enter to heaven to offer himself again and again… V 26- (if we backsliding again and again ) the Bible says not possible.. Christ would have been suffered many times means He cannot sacrifice again and again… he appeared once for all. V 27- man to die ONCE after that to face judgment. V 28- He/ Christ was sacrificed once and he was will appear for the second time …
Hebrew 10:12- But when this priest/Christ had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, he sad down at the right hand of God. It is clear that he cannot sacrifice himself again even if he can he needs to go through all he did but never will again. I’m sorry to explain this because I have burned for this case because many many don’t understand this and I’m afraid people will think they are already saved and even if they are backslide they will can be forgiven all the time which is not true after being born again if you backslide once unknowingly God can forgive you surely because our God is loving kindness God but knowingly if you did mistake and do the same sin that means you chose to sin that really makes God angry, if he can say lukewarm Christian I will spit you out how can a backslide stand in front of Him ? I’m afraid someone will think they are once saved it’s ok and finally they will go to hell where God will not listen anymore.
@@lalphirkimchangsan6636 I agree with the importance of the substance of your message. Jesus says those who love me will keep my commandments and that is true. That is not to say we keep them perfectly but we should not to be living in sin. When we grieve God we feel repentance I think. I can tell you this; after I was saved at 49 years old. I was told to stop my porn addiction. I won't go into all of that but I participated in it after he told me not too. I felt terrible about it. I didn't feel so much fear; I felt sorrow for letting him down. I repented and witnessed to others about his love but one night after doing that I realized that I didn't feel his love. So I did a deep prayer to Jesus and asked him if he would forgive me. He didn't answer. Went to bed; my autistic 5 yo son who sleeps with us kept driving me nuts for hours that night. I have daily physical pain and my sleep is vital to me; especially when I have work the next day. So after my son calmed down I hugged him as he fell asleep and I felt love for him. In that moment a voice said to me, "do you forgive him?" I was angry at the question. I said back in my mind, "Of course I forgive him!". The the voice said to me, "would I not also forgive you my son?". It was Jesus. That was all he said and it was all that was needed. I tell you this because God's love is so much stronger than ours. We must not live in sin but when a person is a true child of God, his mercy is sufficient when we repent just like he says :)
I back slid and sinned willfully in that time. After coming back to Christ I would often be guilt ridden to the point of anxiety as to if I could be forgiven for willful sins after salvation or I had ruined my chances. One day, after a particularly rough bout of guilt, I was reading my Bible and came upon a gospel where Jesus told a man, "your sins are forgiven". I paused when I read that because it was so heavy on my heart and just happened to read that (I didn't seek it out) and I asked God if He was telling me something. I went on reading still wondering if it was a coincidence. The very next day I was in Sunday service and following along as the pastor read the lesson for the day. We were in a different gospel and there those red lettered words streamed into view again, "your sins are forgiven". At this point I knew this was no coincidence. I marked my reading the day before and the reading of that day with the date because it has "freed" me ever since. I was obviously already freed but I didn't know it until then. Anytime the guilt tries to work on me I now practically HEAR the words in my mind, "your sins are forgiven " and it drives that guilt right away. That guilt has no power over me now. I don't see this as license to back slid again (not to say I wouldn't be forgoven again but I don't believe in abusing grace) though. Why would I want to after being freed like that. We need to come to the end of ourselves sometimes before we can truly see that we NEED forgiveness! Sometimes it takes backsliding (please don't take this as me blessing back slidding though!). For those who suffer with this guilt, please know Jesus died for all our sins, past, present, and future! Don't forget it and don't take it for granted!
I can testify to the truth of the restoration of the backsliding state of the heart... I'm living proof that God is merciful, graceful, and truly a God of restoration. After 27 years away from God falling back in things I wouldn't have even considered the first time the bible says its like a dog returning to its vomit, He has delivered me, restored me and I'm living everyday to the Glory of God. Truly, he is a God of 2nd chances, 3rd chances, and as many as it takes for you to turn your heart back to the Lord. Thank you, Jesus, for never giving up on me!🙏👏🙌
Amen totally agree with this! To be able to be restored you need to confess it to God that you’ve failed Him, repent and ask Him for forgiveness. I am a living testimony that God definitely restores
I cherish the way you explained that, especially the part about why you might need to be rebaptized. Imagine if every time we sin we had to be baptized again. We'd never have a chance to dry off, LOL. Great stuff! Glory be to Jesus.
As someone who grew up in church, I can say that I backslid. For many years I made wrong decisions, but when I finally realized how far I've went. I've made up my mind to live for Him again, of course it was not something that happened over night, but it was process. God was always there waiting for me with His open arms and embraced me! I can't say enough how thankful I am for restoring me and showing me His unconditional love!
I was raised in church. My heart left it before I physically stopped attending, but I spent the final years of my teens (17+), all of my twenties, and my early thirties (literally less than two weeks before I turned 32) living in sin. I actually spent the better part of those years living as a self-identified transgender woman. I was as crazy as the people of this world who push that agenda, and had many years wherein I didn't own a single article of men's clothing anymore (yes, including the unmentionables). I had even been taking estrogen pills for a year by the time I first attended what is now my home church, and was very near scheduling the first of my surgies toward a sex change (thank God I never got that far). On Sunday, May 1st, 2016, I was baptized in the Holy name of Jesus, and my self identity instantaneously changed! I was nervous and scared as I stepped down into the baptismal tank, with the whole Sunday morning congregation looking on in encouragment. However, as my pastor lifted me back up out of the water, I was already a different person. I was now at peace with being the man that God made me to be, even to the point of being highly uncomfortable with the fact that all I had to wear when changing back out of the baptismal robe were the women's clothes I showed up wearing. I was at least thankful that I chose a pants outfit that day, but I was still--for the first time in many years--embarassed to be wearing women's clothes in public. Now I'm living the way I should have been the entire time, as a man in Christ without a single article of women's clothes in my wardrobe. So yes, backsliders can come back. The whole experience was kind of a blessing in a way; the church in which I was raised was a Trinitarian church that preached the sinner's prayer as the means of salvation, with baptism being a public profession of faith. If I hadn't backslid for so long in the first place, I may have never escaped those false doctrines.
I was told by someone once who had strayed, their fear coming back was not God, but they feared the church more. May we be people of restoration, love, and celebration when they come home.
Thankyou sir. I needed a reminder of these truths. Personally I dont believe a believer needs to "speak in tongues" to recieve the holy spirit. However, we can all agree Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father. God bless!
I absolutely believe they can …. Because I was backslid for 11 years lack of prayer life and no Bible reading I was consumed with carnal things ….. God so graciously refilled me with the HolyGhost 6 years ago !!!! Been on fire ever since
How do you know when you get refilled with the Holy Ghost? I experienced acts 2:38 but I backslid and I’ve been repenting and asking God for forgiveness everyday. I’m so scared I’m going to hell and that he might not forgive me. How does someone know if they get refilled again with the Holy Ghost? The evidence of being filled with the Holy Ghost is speaking in tongues so does that mean you have to speak in tongues again? I’ve been speaking in tongues and still speak in tongues but how will I know if I’ve been refilled with the Holy Ghost?
Bro. David, I was a backslider, but have been coming back to the Lord….I was baptized when I was still a child at 17 yrs old….i was brought to the faith by my eldest brother when I moved in with him….I had attended the church for only a short while when I was given a Bible study about the faith….the Bible study I was given knowing nothing at the time about Christ except believing he had died for my sins, was the rapture…. I don’t recall if I was given a complete teaching about baptism at the time and only remember I was taught about the rapture…I was so terrified I asked to be baptized….after the Bible study I was brought to the church by the young man who gave me the Bible study and was baptized that day…. looking back, I don’t recall if I even understood the complete meaning of repentance or even salvation for that matter….all I know is that I was given my first ever Bible study being brand new to the church, and it scared me into baptism….looking back I don’t understand the motive, and true intention of the young man, to teach anyone who didn’t know about Christ, or understand the faith the rapture….it’s a very touchy subject for me because I don’t recall all the feelings I had at the time, nor exactly the whole Bible study and teaching I received, because all I remember was being taught the rapture….part of me tugs at getting re-baptized, but the other part of me is afraid that I’ll continually be wrestling within my mind as to which of the two baptisms would’ve been the actual and more valid baptism if I was to choose to be re-baptized….I’ve asked God in prayer recently and this video popped up!…I came across this teaching as I’m already a subscriber to your channel….God Bless You Bro. David and for all that you’ve done and faithfully continue to do for The Body of Christ…. -Brother in Christ
I believe that as long as your faith was and is in Christ at the time you were baptized and you knew that it was for the remission/removal of your sin both past, present and future, that what you experienced was a true, genuine baptism. Just my thoughts. We are all human, and we act in faith according to God’s Word. Idk about anyone else, but imo you will never fully understand everything that there is to be understood. This is why He judges our hearts and our faith. God bless.
Thanks I needed to hear that,I waa baptized and fell but have come back to the Lord.I repeated of my sins but always wondered if I had to be baptized over
Please read how dreadful things to sin again and again, once you sinned by mistake you can repent completely God will forgive you but sinning again and again please read these scriptures Hebrew 6:4-6 Hebrew 9:25-28 Hebrew 10:12, 14, 26, 27, 31 Roman 6: 9, 10 If we say how can I be sinless or blameless I can’t I’m human then the Bible says. Philippine 4:13- I can do everything through him who gives me strength (NIV) Amen 🙏 and God say you must be holy because I the Lord Am holy, if He say you must be holy that means we can be holy but by the help of God , so our mind and thoughts must focus to God, that’s the one reason Jesus say the way is narrow, but once we go pass the narrow road we will enjoy. Hebrew
Yes if they had a upc church near their home their whole family could attend . The harvest is plentious but there needs to be more than one upc church in every city and county and parish . .in some cases upc churchs are more than 100 miles apart.
How can i be baptized in the holy spirit,? There is no church near me, i backslid and came back to Jesus Christ, but i no longer hear the holy spirit, please, can someone help me, its really killing me. I am so afraid i offended the holy spirit....
Can you do a video on the difference between backsliding, falling away (apostate), and reprobate? I have been studying this topic for a bit but as I’m not as experienced as you, I would like to hear your scriptural opinions on these things. My current believe after studying is that these are three separate mindsets/states that people can fall into, but I mostly get stuck on if these can all three be forgiven if repented of or not because there’s some verses in Hebrews that sound like they suggest that it is impossible specifically for an apostate (one who is fully saved but who falls away) to be “renewed unto repentence”. I have had an interest in these topics since May, mostly because I really had never heard that verse preached before and had always heard it preached that God will forgive you no matter how far you’ve strayed away. So I am just very confused about this specific topic upon reading and studying this for myself because some of these verses don’t seem to line up with what I have heard-whether that be my understanding is not right or the world (even Christian’s) have begun to become very soft in this world. Disclaimer: I do believe backsliders who have not apostated can be forgiven, but I believe that backsliders are ones who just fall into sin whereas apostates are ones who fall into sin and deception and lead others down the path of turning from God as well after knowing truth and being fully saved.
But back sliding to common sense is a good thing. My peace and stability of mind has never been better since I backslided out of belief. I am at total peace with self and God.
Jeremiah 3:22 “Return, ye backsliding children, and I will heal your backslidings. Behold, we come unto thee; for thou art the LORD our God.” Jeremiah 3:22 KJV
In easy way- the people who repent of their sins and follow Christ but went back to their previous life and do again what sins is called backslide after they backslide they did the same sins and some people did worse things than before as it is written in the Bible one person repent and he became clean his heart become clean but the evil spirit roam here and there looking for places to stay and when he saw the man who repent the evil saw it was empty and clean so evil took 7 others evil and entered to that person, so once we repent we must feel ourselves with God’s word and…
I would respectfully like to hear a clarification on the washing of feet, the love supper or agape banquet, the holy kiss, women preachers, women pastors, Ordination to the ministry (if it is a sacrament or if uninterrupted succession is necessary or valid) and the possession of ministers to the local church, the presentation, blessing, prayer and dedication of children, the laying on of hands, anointing with oil, ecclesial discipline, confession of sins, the use or not of a literal veil over long hair in women when praying or prophesying, the descent of Jesus into Sheol o Hades, the watchful angels and the nephilim Thank you so much
I have a question that I believe is commonly asked. Did Jesus turn water into alcoholic wine, or was it just juice from the grape? Would He create something that would cause people to sin, and did He partake of alcoholic wine?
The bible states don't be caught in drunknesd or drunkard yes Jesus made wine I firmented grape juice wasn't a thing till 1869 by welchs the thing about drinking is don't let it overcome you or become a burden in your life or bring you to sin
What about Revelation 2:4-5? Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. It says to repent AND do the first works.
I’m almost surprised he didn’t quote (Hebrews 6:4-6) “For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, and have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, if they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.”
That’s true, I’m very worried by reading this comments I feel very sad I feel like many people of God don’t understand this preaching, he preach ok in some point but the main thing the most important things to know for the believers is disappears hear this is scary, one day in my quiet time prayer I am told my God I must say… people don’t understand this type what the preacher preach not only this man but many preacher don’t understand or they don’t study well or I don’t understand them, evil can make people comfortable thinking themselves saved but in the final day everything will be late and this cause it gnashing of teeth gnashing of teeth will not cause just because of pain it will cause in many many ways like … why I didn’t believe what people says, why I was stubborn? Why people didn’t tell me or why I didn’t obey etc etc. I’m terrified thinking all these questions.
That’s true so true, this is very dangerous we can see clearly in the Bible regarding this and this is my burden I have no doubt tha the Bible says God will start judgment with the family means the church with the leaders 1 Peter 4:17- For it is time for judgment to begin with the family of God; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God? Not obey means God say do not sin, repent, live a godly life , fear God etc we repent and He wants us to cling on him and if we disobey the results will be eternal hell . We must think Why Jesus preach more about hell than heaven. How can people make them feel easy of everything as Jesus said we must walk in the narrow road. We must read - Hebrew 6:4-6 Hebrew 9:25-28 Hebrew 10:12, 14, 26,27, 31 Romans 6:9,10 Jesus Christ cannot come and die again He died once ang for all. Amen 🙏
Unfortunately there are people in the church sitting, singing and leading as pastors and such who are backslidden. Just because somebody doesn't attend your particular church (not the doctrine) or attends regularly doesn't mean they're backslidden. When Jesus breaks the seals in Revelation, there are problems with pastors and doctrine as much as there are problems in the pews
Backslidden Pastors shouldn't be preaching from the pulpit until they are restored with the Holy Ghost. It's the Spirit that gives the anointing, and someone who is backslidden must get right with God first to get back the anointing and preach under the unction of the Holy Ghost.
@@derekbaker777 Oh, Will knows that... He has another agenda with his comment. I don't know if it's to deflect from himself or it's triggered some past incident _(that has nothing to do with this video)..._ Only he knows...
Jesus Himself Speaks About Hell And How Not To Go There: In Luke 16:19-31 Jesus describes a rich man that lived lavishly and a poor beggar man named Lazarus. It came to pass that Lazarus died and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom. The rich man died, was buried, then went to hell. 23 And in hell he lifted up his eyes, being in TORMENT, saw Abraham afar off and Lazarus in his bosom. 24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue, for I am tormented IN THIS FLAME. 25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that you in your lifetime received good things, and likewise Lazarus received evil things, but now he is comforted and you are tormented. 26 And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that they which would pass from hence to you can not, neither can they pass to us, and would come from thence. 27 Then he said, I pray you therefore father, that you would send him to my father’s house. 28 For I have 5 brothers that he may testify unto them, lest also come into this place of torment. 29 Abraham said unto him, They have Moses and the prophets, let them hear them. 30 And he said, Nay father Abraham, but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. 31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.” LOCATION OF HELL: Jesus said in Matthew 12:40, ”For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly, so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the HEART OF THE EARTH.” Paul said in Ephesians 4:9, ”Now that he ascended, was it but that he also DESCENDED into the LOWER PARTS OF THE EARTH.” HELL IS A PLACE OF FIRE: Jesus said in Luke 16:24,”….Father Abraham have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue for I am TORMENTED IN THIS FLAME.” Jesus said in Matthew 13:42,”And shall cast them into a FURNACE OF FIRE, there shall be WAILING AND GNASHING OF TEETH.” Jesus said in Matthew 25:41,”Then shall he also say to them on the left hand, Depart from me, you cursed, INTO EVERLASTING FIRE, prepared for the devil and his angels.” Jesus said in Revelation 20:15,”And whosoever was not found written in the book of life, was CAST INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE.” HELL IS A PLACE OF TORMENT: Jesus said in Luke 16:23,”And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in TORMENT….” 24 …..for I am TORMENTED in this flame.” Jesus said in Revelation 14:11,”And the smoke of their TORMENT ascended up FOR EVER AND EVER, and they have no rest day or night….” Jesus said in Mark 9:45-46,”And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off, it is better for you to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the FIRE THAT NEVER SHALL BE QUENCHED. 46 Where their WORM DIES NOT, and the fire is not quenched.” Note that it doesn’t say “THE Worm”, it says “THEIR WORM” dies not. Jesus said in Revelation 21:8,”But the fearful and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whore mongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns WITH FIRE AND BRIMSTONE, which is the second death.” Note that Brimstone is Sulfur and burns with a very strong odor of rotten eggs. The scriptures above prove when a person goes to hell they will constantly see hell, constantly smell hell, constantly feel the heat of hell, will constantly breath hell, will constantly hear the wailing and gnashing of teeth of others in hell, will constantly be aware of their own worms, they will have no rest day or night, there is no way out and it will continue for ever and ever, they can’t die because they are already dead. The following is how to not go there and it is a SIMPLE AND EASY thing to do: All of the book of Acts is what Jesus disciples said what we must to be SAVED - meaning not go to hell, which is repentance, water baptism in Jesus NAME, (NOT the titles Father, Son, and Holy Ghost) and being baptized with the Holy Ghost. Jesus said in Mark 16:16,"He that believes and is BAPTIZED shall be SAVED, but he that believes not shall be damned." At about that same time He said in Matthew 28:19,"Go therefore and teach all nations BAPTIZING them in the name (SINGULAR name and not name's) OF the Father, and OF the Son, and OF the Holy Ghost." Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are titles and not names. Jesus disciples never used those words when they baptized anyone in water, nor did they use those words in one sentence regarding any other topic. Every time they invoked Jesus NAME at baptism which is Acts 2:38, Acts 8:14-18, Acts 8:38, Acts 9:18, Acts 10:44-48, Acts 16:15, Acts 16:33, Acts 18:7, Acts 18:8, Acts 19:3-5, and Acts 22:16 (Paul's baptism). Jesus said in John 3:3-7,"Verily, verily I say unto you, Except a man BE BORN AGAIN, he can not see the kingdom of God. 5 Verily, verily I say unto, Except a man be born of water AND of the Spirit, he can not enter into the kingdom of heaven. 7 Marvel not that I say unto you, YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN." Being born of water is being baptized in water which is for the REMISSION OF SINS - meaning the INITIAL remission of sins and not the confessing of sins later addressed in 1 John 1:9. Being born of the Spirit is being baptized with the Holy Ghost. What being baptized with the Holy Ghost means is addressed in Mark 16:17 (Jesus speaking), Acts 2:3-4, (Pentecost), Acts 8:17, Acts 9:18, Acts 10:44-48, and Acts 19:3-5 - which is when the Spirit of Christ initially dwells in a person. Nowhere in Scripture does it say it happens any other way than that way. There is not one Scripture that says a person receives the Holy Ghost just because they are a believer. Acts 19:1-5 is a good example. Paul said in Romans 8:9-11,”But you are not in the flesh, but in the spirit, if so be that the spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, HE IS NONE OF HIS." Numbers 23:19, ”God is not a man that he should lie, neither the son of man, that he should repent, has he said and shall he not do it? And shall he not make it good?” Malachi 3:6,”For I am the Lord, I change not...” Hebrews 13:8,”Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever.” That means there is no reason to think that Jesus will make an exception and save someone that has not been baptized in water in Jesus NAME, and has not been baptized with the Holy Ghost. Some say the thief on the cross next to Jesus was not baptized yet Jesus told him he would be in paradise with him that day. Jesus had not given the COMMANDMENT to be baptized in HIS NAME until after he had risen from the dead and before he ascended into heaven. The thief on the cross could not have been baptized because he did not know about it. If you do what Jesus said above in Mark 16:16, Matthew 28:19, and John 3:3-7, you will be making SURE your name is Written In Lamb's Book Of Life. If you are convinced you need to get baptized in water in Jesus Name do a search and type in "United Pentecostal Church International", scroll down to just below the red box, type in your zip code, a screen will show a Church near you that will do that. Jesus said John 10:27, ”My Sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.”
That’s so true, I don’t understand why many preacher try to disappear hell why they preach very little Jesus himself preach about hell more than heaven and the preachers preach the hell like paradise they must preach as it is they must speak how dangerous the hell is if the people don’t know about hell how will they find heaven I don’t really understand.
How do I know if I’m fasting correctly? What’s the right way to begin and to end a fast in a way that pleases the Lord? How do I know if the Lord is acknowledging the fast or if I’m just going hungry?
There is podcast about fasting in this same venue , fasting doesn’t change God , it changes you , you may or may not feel the benefits of it all at once but I promise it will strengthen your walk with God and will sharpen your spiritual concepts
The following is Scriptural proof who Jesus really is and that He is much more than just the Son of God. Paul said in Galatians 1:12 that he was not taught by any man but was taught by Jesus himself which means whatever Paul said was what Jesus told him to say. Paul said in 1 Timothy 3:16,"AND WITHOUT CONTROVERSY GREAT IS THE MYSTERY OF GODLINESS, GOD was manifest in the FLESH (Jesus), justified in the SPIRIT, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, and received up into glory." Paul said in 2 Corinthians 3:17,"Now the LORD IS THAT SPIRIT, and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty." Jesus is speaking in Revelation 2:7,"He that has an ear, let him hear what the SPIRIT says to the churches...." And Paul said in Ephesians 4:4, "For there is one body, ONE SPIRIT....verse 5 ONE LORD, ONE Faith and ONE BAPTISM." Paul said in Colossians 2:8-10,"Beware lest any man fool you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9 FOR IN HIM DWELLS ALL THE FULLNESS OF THE GODHEAD BODILY." Jesus is not just part of the Godhead - Jesus IS the Godhead. Paul said in Hebrews 1:8, "But unto the SON he said, Thy throne O GOD is forever and ever...." Jesus said in Revelation 21:6-7,"And he said unto me (John) it is done, I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I (Jesus) will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of life freely. 7 He that overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his GOD, and he shall be my SON." Paul said in Titus 2:13, "Looking for that blessed hope, and glorious appearance of the great GOD and our SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST." Acts 7:59, "And they stoned Stephen, calling upon GOD, and saying LORD JESUS, receive my spirit." 1 John 5:20,"And we know that the SON of God is come, and has given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his SON Jesus Christ, THIS IS THE TRUE GOD, AND ETERNAL LIFE." Isaiah 9:6,"For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son (Jesus) is given, and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful, THE MIGHTY GOD, THE EVERLASTING FATHER, ..." Jesus said in Revelation 1:8, "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, says the Lord, which is, which was, and is to come, THE ALMIGHTY." Jesus said in Revelation 2:7, "He that has an ear, let him hear what the SPIRIT says unto the Churches....." Jesus said in Mark 16:16, "He that believes and is BAPTIZED shall be Saved, but he that believes not shall be damned." Jesus addressed what damned means in Luke 16:19-31, Matthew 13:42, Matthew 25:41, Mark 9:45-46, Revelation 20:15, and Revelation 21:8. Jesus said in Matthew 28:19, "Go therefore and teach all nations BAPTIZING them in the name (SINGULAR name and not names) OF the Father, and OF the Son, and OF the Holy Ghost." Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are titles and not names. Every time Jesus disciples baptized anyone in water they invoked Jesus Name at baptism which is Acts 2:38, Acts 8:14, Acts 8:38, Acts 9:18, Acts 10:44-48, Acts 16:15, Acts 16:33, Acts 18:7, Acts 18:8, Acts 19:3-5, and Acts 22:16. Peter said in Acts 4:12, "Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is NONE OTHER NAME under heaven given among men whereby we must be SAVED." Some say the thief on the cross next to Jesus was not Baptized yet Jesus told him he would be with him that day in Paradise. Jesus had not yet given the COMMANDMENT to be Baptized in His Name until after he rose from the dead and just before he ascended into heaven. The thief or anyone else could not have been Baptized in His Name because they did not know about it. There is no t one scripture that says a person receives the Holy Ghost just because they are a believer. Acts 19:1-5 is a good example. If you are convinced you need to get Baptized in water in Jesus Name and get Baptized with the Holy Ghost - which is addressed in Mark 16:17 (Jesus speaking): Acts 2:4 (Pentecost), Acts 8:17, Acts 9:18, Acts 10:44-48, and Acts 19:3-5. Do a search, type in "United Pentecostal Church International", slightly scroll down to just below the red box, and type in your zip code. Then a screen will show a Church nearest you that will do that. If you do the above you will be making SURE your name is written in the Lamb's Book Of Life. Jesus said in John 10:27,"My Sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me."
God allows backsliding , not falling away , there is a difference falling away means you are disgracing Christs name all over again See Heb 6 : 6 [Niv] bible
Obey Jesus Commandments..Avoid Pride..Lust..Greed..Anger and Worry. Do the Best you Can and Forgive Yourself..Others..and the World. You Will have Peace and be Blessed 😇
PROCLAIM JESUS CHRIST AND OBEY THE TEACHINGS OF JESUS CHRIST AND THERE IS NONE RIGHTEOUS NOT NOT ONE NOT EVEN BOTH OF YOU AND OBEY GOD AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE
With this Bible verse we can understand how God loves us, He loves us even if we are the sinners but he doesn’t want us to stuck in this verse that the reason He says in Isaiah 1:18, 20 - “ Come now, let us reason together,” says the LORD. “ Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. V 20- but if you resist and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword.” For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.
Pentecostals always say you have to speak in tongues in order to be saved..... I'm in love with Jesus Christ because he saved my soul and haven't spoken in tongues!
I back slid and I know my sins are forgiven but I have never spoken in tounges and doubt I ever will. Tounges aren't the only gifts given! I wrote, in this comment section,, my testimony of having assurance that my sins of even my back slidden life are forgiven without having experienced tounges.
Speaking in tongues is one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Acts 1:8 says "But ye shall receive power when the Hold Spirit comes upon you; and ye shall be witnesses unto Me both in Jerusalem, and in Judea, and in Samaria, and to the uttermost part of the earth." This is a sure sign of receiving the Holy Spirit - power to stand up for Christ despite opposition, power to fight sin, power to resist the devil, power to flee sexual immorality.
Once saved always saved......if someone never returns to faith that person was never saved in the first placed...read the book Eternal Security by Charles Stanley
A lot of people believe that doctrine but it’s conflicting due to Lucifer, the devil, being cast out of heaven for eternity. He was definitely saved but lost out with God, along with 1/3 of the angels.
God doesn’t take back backsliders. If you were saved born again, and backslide into sin, God rejects you. I backslid into sin, God sent disease on me via through satan’s hand. Like Satan who sent extreme pain on Job who was righteous, unlike Job I fell into sin and an awful disease has been placed on me. A disease undetectable by medical field and testing. Curled toes, disintegration of feet and legs. It feels like marbles in my shoes, extreme pain in my feet. He’s plaguing me to be bedridden. God has clearly spoke and said, I saved you once, you want me to save you again. Which He meant he was not going to forgive. Read Hebrews clearly states if you go back after being saved, you will face eternal damnation.
No such thing as a saved person who then backslides. Backsliding only happens to those outside of salvation. This false teaching of Dr. B is his Achilles Heel.
Teaches tithes but doesn't teach against eating pork....shrimp Doesn't teach Saturday sabbath ... But yes we're going to pick tithing out and say this is a biblical command for the new testament church. As a Pastor , I do not require or teach my ppl to tithe because I can biblically prove it's not what the upci teaches it is . UPC churches also do trunk or treat participate in alot of paganism on that but they tell women they can't cut their hair
As a baby in Christ , I once backslid , and returned to Jesus. I repented and God restored me. I will never look back. He is my All!!
Same to me Neilyn 9 years after coming back to Jesus fold no mre turning now serving the Lord as Pastor for 24 years
@@derekbaker777 you backslid from the Lord for 22 years?
Always love Dr. Bernard's teachings
Bro I wanna talk with u
Amazing testimony! God is good!
Always love Jesus testimony
Your testimony should go worldwide. Everyone needs to hear that there is always hope in God. God bless you!
As I read this comment, emotions overwhelmed me and tears filled my eyes. I thanked God for you and your testimony! Thank you for sharing!
I was told by someone once who had strayed, their fear coming back was not God, but they feared the church more.
May we be people of restoration, love, and celebration when they come home.
This is absolutely true as I was backslidden for ten years and just recently started going to church and let me tell you that I feel so unwelcomed
Treating you as prodigals.
Thankyou sir. I needed a reminder of these truths. Personally I dont believe a believer needs to "speak in tongues" to recieve the holy spirit. However, we can all agree Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father. God bless!
You don't speak in tougnges prior to having the holy spirit dwell in you that's something that comes after its an evidence of the spirit in you
Thank you Bishop Bernard for a more indebted and detailed information on this subject.
Thank you David Bernard for this video it will enhance me to continue serving God, God bless
Thank you for the seed of God that I get through his word that I can share to our Church GGAPC here in Manila as a missionary works from God…
Hows d experience? How can I get back again?
Bro. David,
I was a backslider, but have been coming back to the Lord….I was baptized when I was still a child at 17 yrs old….i was brought to the faith by my eldest brother when I moved in with him….I had attended the church for only a short while when I was given a Bible study about the faith….the Bible study I was given knowing nothing at the time about Christ except believing he had died for my sins, was the rapture….
God bless.
Hallelujah! Great teaching Praise ! JESUS CHRIST FOREVER !
WHERE THEY ARE DROPPING THE BALL IS TO INSTRUCT PEOPLE TO NEVER RETURN TO SIN ❤

Awesome teaching
Thanks I needed to hear that,I waa baptized and fell but have come back to the Lord.I repeated of my sins but always wondered if I had to be baptized over
I miss spelled repented,
I Love the LORD he is an awesome GOD
Please read how dreadful things to sin again and again, once you sinned by mistake you can repent completely God will forgive you but sinning again and again please read these scriptures Hebrew 6:4-6
Hebrew 9:25-28
Hebrew 10:12, 14, 26, 27, 31
Roman 6: 9, 10
If we say how can I be sinless or blameless I can’t I’m human then the Bible says.

What exactly is a backslider? Where is that term in the Bible? I don’t recall seeing it. Thanks in advance.
Jeremiah 8 starting in verse 4
Jeremiah 3:22
“Return, ye backsliding children, and I will heal your backslidings. Behold, we come unto thee; for thou art the LORD our God.”
Jeremiah 3:22 KJV
In easy way- the people who repent of their sins and follow Christ but went back to their previous life and do again what sins is called backslide after they backslide they did the same sins and some people did worse things than before as it is written in the Bible one person repent and he became clean his heart become clean but the evil spirit roam here and there looking for places to stay and when he saw the man who repent the evil saw it was empty and clean so evil took 7 others evil and entered to that person, so once we repent we must feel ourselves with God’s word and…
How do you explain Lot? Looking at his life nobody would think he'd be saved unless peter mentioned him as a righteous man!
I would respectfully like to hear a clarification on the washing of feet, the love supper or agape banquet, the holy kiss, women preachers, women pastors, Ordination to the ministry (if it is a sacrament or if uninterrupted succession is necessary or valid) and the possession of ministers to the local church, the presentation, blessing, prayer and dedication of children, the laying on of hands, anointing with oil, ecclesial discipline, confession of sins, the use or not of a literal veil over long hair in women when praying or prophesying, the descent of Jesus into Sheol o Hades, the watchful angels and the nephilim
Thank you so much
If i am baptized in the Name of the Father,Son,Holy Spirit.should i be baptized again?
Yes in the name of YAHUSHA
The MESSIAHs true name
I have a question that I believe is commonly asked. Did Jesus turn water into alcoholic wine, or was it just juice from the grape? Would He create something that would cause people to sin, and did He partake of alcoholic wine?
The bible states don't be caught in drunknesd or drunkard yes Jesus made wine I firmented grape juice wasn't a thing till 1869 by welchs the thing about drinking is don't let it overcome you or become a burden in your life or bring you to sin
Also alcohol isn't the only thing made that can bring you to sin remember god created the devil
Baptism isn’t a work, it’s an opportunity. Best way to look at your first works is, what did you do before when you was seeking for God.
That’s true the most important message are missing here. We must be very careful what we listen to whom we follow.
I’m almost surprised he didn’t quote (Hebrews 6:4-6)
“For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, and have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, if they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.”
He talked about those scriptures in Hebrews
Dear Sir, please address Matthew 7:21-23. Thank you!
All the best from Sweden.
19? Maryam Verse 19. 19. He (Gabriel) said, "Indeed I am only the messenger of your Lord, to give you a gift of a pure boy."
That is the proof of unbiblicle on the belief once saved always save
That’s true so true, this is very dangerous we can see clearly in the Bible regarding this and this is my burden I have no doubt tha the Bible says God will start judgment with the family means the church with the leaders
1 Peter 4:17- For it is time for judgment to begin with the family of God; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God? Not obey means God say do not sin, repent, live a godly life , fear God etc we repent and He wants us to cling on him and if we disobey the results will be eternal hell . We must think Why Jesus preach more about hell than heaven. How can people make them feel easy of everything as Jesus said we must walk in the narrow road. We must read - Hebrew 6:4-6
Hebrew 9:25-28
Hebrew 10:12, 14,
26,27, 31
Romans 6:9,10
Jesus Christ cannot come and die again He died once ang for all.
What are you talking about?? That's not the topic of this conversation.

Jesus Himself Speaks About Hell And How Not To Go There:
In Luke 16:19-31 Jesus describes a rich man that lived lavishly and a poor beggar man named Lazarus. 31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.”
LOCATION OF HELL: Jesus said in Matthew 12:40, ”For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly, so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the HEART OF THE EARTH.” Paul said in Ephesians 4:9, ”Now that he ascended, was it but that he also DESCENDED into the LOWER PARTS OF THE EARTH.”
HELL IS A PLACE OF FIRE: Jesus said in Luke 16:24,”….Father Abraham have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue for I am TORMENTED IN THIS FLAME.”
Jesus said in Matthew 13:42,”And shall cast them into a FURNACE OF FIRE, there shall be WAILING AND GNASHING OF TEETH.” Jesus said in Matthew 25:41,”Then shall he also say to them on the left hand, Depart from me, you cursed, INTO EVERLASTING FIRE, prepared for the devil and his angels.”
Jesus said in Revelation 20:15,”And whosoever was not found written in the book of life, was CAST INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE.”
HELL IS A PLACE OF TORMENT: Jesus said in Luke 16:23,”And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in TORMENT….” 24 …..for I am TORMENTED in this flame.” Jesus said in Revelation 14:11,”And the smoke of their TORMENT ascended up FOR EVER AND EVER, and they have no rest day or night….” Jesus said in Mark 9:45-46,”And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off, it is better for you to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the FIRE THAT NEVER SHALL BE QUENCHED.
The following is how to not go there and it is a SIMPLE AND EASY thing to do:
All of the book of Acts is what Jesus disciples said what we must to be SAVED - meaning not go to hell, which is repentance, water baptism in Jesus NAME, (NOT the titles Father, Son, and Holy Ghost) and being baptized with the Holy Ghost. Jesus said in Mark 16:16,"He that believes and is BAPTIZED shall be SAVED, but he that believes not shall be damned."
At about that same time He said in Matthew 28:19,"Go therefore and teach all nations BAPTIZING them in the name (SINGULAR name and not name's) OF the Father, and OF the Son, and OF the Holy Ghost." Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are titles and not names.
Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, HE IS NONE OF HIS."
Numbers 23:19, ”God is not a man that he should lie, neither the son of man, that he should repent, has he said and shall he not do it? And shall he not make it good?”
Malachi 3:6,”For I am the Lord, I change not...”
Hebrews 13:8,”Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever.” That means there is no reason to think that Jesus will make an exception and save someone that has not been baptized in water in Jesus NAME, and has not been baptized with the Holy Ghost.

Amen.
If one doesn't speak in tongues, then that is a sign one is not saved?

Paul said in 1 Timothy 3:16,"AND WITHOUT CONTROVERSY GREAT IS THE MYSTERY OF GODLINESS, GOD was manifest in the FLESH (Jesus), justified in the SPIRIT, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, and received up into glory."
Paul said in 2 Corinthians 3:17,"Now the LORD IS THAT SPIRIT, and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty." Jesus is speaking in Revelation 2:7,"He that has an ear, let him hear what the SPIRIT says to the churches...." And Paul said in Ephesians 4:4, "For there is one body, ONE SPIRIT....verse 5 ONE LORD, ONE Faith and ONE BAPTISM."
Paul said in Colossians 2:8-10,"Beware lest any man fool you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
7 He that overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his GOD, and he shall be my SON."
Paul said in Titus 2:13, "Looking for that blessed hope, and glorious appearance of the great GOD and our SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST."
Acts 7:59, "And they stoned Stephen, calling upon GOD, and saying LORD JESUS, receive my spirit."
1 John 5:20,"And we know that the SON of God is come, and has given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his SON Jesus Christ, THIS IS THE TRUE GOD, AND ETERNAL LIFE."
Isaiah 9:6,"For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son (Jesus) is given, and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful, THE MIGHTY GOD, THE EVERLASTING FATHER, ..." Jesus said in Revelation 1:8, "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, says the Lord, which is, which was, and is to come, THE ALMIGHTY." Jesus said in Revelation 2:7, "He that has an ear, let him hear what the SPIRIT says unto the Churches....."
Jesus said in Mark 16:16, "He that believes and is BAPTIZED shall be Saved, but he that believes not shall be damned." Jesus addressed what damned means in Luke 16:19-31, Matthew 13:42, Matthew 25:41, Mark 9:45-46, Revelation 20:15, and Revelation 21:8.
Peter said in Acts 4:12, "Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is NONE OTHER NAME under heaven given among men whereby we must be SAVED."
Some say the thief on the cross next to Jesus was not Baptized yet Jesus told him he would be with him that day in Paradise.
If you do the above you will be making SURE your name is written in the Lamb's Book Of Life.
Jesus said in John 10:27,"My Sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me."
Meaning being Baptist again wash those sins away
Gods word says not everyone will receive the gift of soeaking in tongues? So please expain why you are saying to be saved we have to speak 8n tongues?
Hebrews 6
Is it possible for a born again person to not speak in tongues?
❤
With this Bible verse we can understand how God loves us, He loves us even if we are the sinners but he doesn’t want us to stuck in this verse that the reason He says in
Isaiah 1:18, 20 - “ Come now, let us reason together,” says the LORD. “ Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.
V 20- but if you resist and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword.” For the mouth of the LORD has spoken.
Is backsliding a word from the old Testament and the word for the new Testament is Apostate.
1John 1:9 says they can.
Acts 1:8 says "But ye shall receive power when the Hold Spirit comes upon you; and ye shall be witnesses unto Me both in Jerusalem, and in Judea, and in Samaria, and to the uttermost part of the earth."
This is a sure sign of receiving the Holy Spirit - power to stand up for Christ despite opposition, power to fight sin, power to resist the devil, power to flee sexual immorality.
😮 wher in THE BIBLE IT SAÝ FAKE TOUNG😮
Back sliding has nothing to do with salvation !!!!
Read Hebrews clearly states if you go back after being saved, you will face eternal damnation.
go look at his testimony, maybe your thinking wrongly
No such thing as a saved person who then backslides. Backsliding only happens to those outside of salvation. This false teaching of Dr. B is his Achilles Heel.
Teaches tithes but doesn't teach against eating pork....shrimp
Doesn't teach Saturday sabbath ...
But speaking in tongues ceased!!
No it has not. I
. Guaranteed, it is still happening. Hope you receive solid, biblical teaching on this.
