I've been struggling to choose a major that would work for me when I go back to school after taking a few years off due to medical issues. I had previously taken courses towards a chemical engineering degree but my heart is no longer in it. I decided I want to go into the medical field but couldn't figure out what I want to do. So anyways, I found your shorts a week or so ago and you reminded me that sonography exists. After looking into it more, I'm pretty sure that I want to go into sonography, it just seems like it would be a good fit for me. Thank you for the inspiration! I'm planning to go back to school in the fall and start my prerequisites for sonography!

@babalpreetkaur1733 no. My school's program have applications in the fall and starts the next fall. I also have not completed all of the prerequisites to apply to my school's program, so I will be applying next fall. I am also considering radiography but I'll just keep doing what I'm doing and see how life leads me.

Many schools also have a combined general/vascular program. It takes about 4 years to become a sonographer. That is what I did with my school. Sonographer for 3 years now and love it!
