Said it before, I'll say it again, the true goat of this series is the unlikely side character, the one we would never expect to like let alone love, and yet has by far the most interesting development out of them all. Arthur. And he plays with our heartstrings all the bloody time. Never knew this actor either before this, what a true talent!
A little tidbit ...the gentleman who was at aunt Polly's door, is the character Reuben Oliver, he is played by the actor Alexander Siddig who played Prince Doran Martell(Oberyn' brother) in GoT...
Best episode of the series, in my opinion. All the main characters are in the same place and all the family dynamics are on full display. And the fam is all happy for the time being
Pudgey your laugh makes my day glorious, bless you & your correct theories!Spartan I love you man watching the gears & wheels turn in your head to come up with a far fetched theory is pure joy brother!!!
When watching this originally I thought the Russian man at the wedding gave the wrong code name because he was from the opposition Russians that Tommy/Churchill were not working with. When seeing it today it seemed like the guy in the wedding was set up by Tatiana/Churchill as she makes a point of asking Tommy can you kill as if it’s all a test to make sure he’s fit for the job they want him for. If I’m wrong anyone feel free to correct me 🤷♀️😂
Just a simple political context : Russia did its communist revolution in 1917 (all the Tsar family shot dead), so in the years after WWI, it was still in a civil war and Winston Churchill, who was fiercly anti-communist, was trying to fund the "white army" (the Tsarist, anti-communist army). It isn't that much of a big thing in the plot per se, but that's the reason why there's Russian intrigues here.
The codename was wrong he wasn’t the right man, the Russian had met with the family before so they knew his name but he was a double agent the entire time
Arthur does most of the dirty work because he’s not good at anything else that’s his role in the Shelby family unlike John and Tommy who are good at other things other then killing people.
36:43, yeah right..cause anyone can say he's Kaledin right? hence the codename..plus Kaledin has dark hair like Tatiana said, but the Kaledin at Tommy's wedding was blonde..My guess the real Kaledin is dead
This comment has nothing to do with peaky blinders, but I really want to see you guys react to Band of Brothers!! It's 10 episodes and it's a true story
I just recently finished watching your Stranger Things reactions, and listening to Spartan go on about him even on here had me actually laughing out loud!
Tatiana asks if Mr Kaledin has dark hair. The infiltrator had blonde hair, so I believe he was not the real Mr Kaledin. The guy was just using Kaledin's name..And Grace's husband killed himself cause he couldn't accept the reality that's he's the one with the problem, not Grace..anyways, i still like May, i bet she would have supported Tommy throught and through instead of asking Tommy dont do this and that like Grace did..May would've been a perfect match for Tommy
Get over May,Tommy didn’t love her. May and Tommy would have never worked. I’m sure she would have wanted him to change, if she really knew everything about Tommy and his businesses.
I’ve often heard that this season is the most confusing in terms of the history and storyline. But the big take away is that this season is around the time of the Russian civil war between the Bolshevik reds and the provincial government white armies.
Well how is that for a wedding...

'No Fighting' scene is elite!
It's iconic ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Maybe even the funniest scene in the whole Peaky Blinders, so great, I laugh everytime Arthur throws the bottle
One of the best

And the russian man who gave the wrong code ”constantine” plays the night king s1-s5 😊
Who cares that he played a character in GoT? 😉 He was Dr. Bashir in Star Trek Deep Space Nine, that's what really counts! 😆
Edit: Typo
Casually laughing about the husband is devious 😭😭😭😭😭

Spartan brought THE DRIP today, I respect it
‘Little baby’ lol his heads about 10 tonnes haha
this channel is awesome, love both you guys!
spartan never gets anything right lol
The bone burning scene (bones of the horse i believe) is genius with "you and whose army" by Radiohead, saying ghost horses
By order of peaky fokin blinders
Man, I so love watching your reactions to these, it's a great show and you both can be quite insightful 🙂
MY FAVOURITE SEASON. IT IS UNREAL

you should read the synopsis of the episode after you watch it to understand it more clearly.
He made Arthur do it to test him bc Tommy feels like he is slowly losing him to Linda

interesting theory, wouldn't be impossible in my opinion!

This episode feels almost like a dark comedy mixed with political thriller, love it
The priest, worst PB villain
They're creating a diversion so poor Arthur can kill the Russian spy!

Seeing the actor of Arthur lately makes me sad. I hope he's doing well. 😢
Yayy my favorite series
