Judging Pecan quality by weight

When customers show up with a 15-17# bucket, I feel bad for them. Generally they are very happy with any nuts, I just know they can be better.

I have been around pecans 4 many yrs mainly in Mississippi and a little in Arkansas and the 5 gallon bucket=20 lbs has been a good guideline 2 follow.
