Thank you! That means a lot. Believe it or not this took me a solid 4 hours to edit, yes 4 hours to edit 7 minutes of video with the hopes I could keep it interesting and fun to watch. Really glad to hear you enjoyed it!
I have been using a variety of garden tractor’s, with plows my whole life and can’t even imagine doing it any other way! I’m Anxiously Awaiting The Next Episode on The Grand National! My in-laws bought a ‘87 GN Brand New & it’s still Mint, & in the family! It’s Totally Hooked Up with Under 50k miles! Great Channel! 🇺🇸
I wish my wife would use my tractor. She's afraid of it for some reason. I had to get her one of those little pull behind dump carts, which while watching her pull it around the yard is adorable, it drives me nuts because the loader makes life so much easier lol.
Great video, long time sub and fellow BX owner. I saw the comment below about your old salt spreader. That thing was ingenious. Would love to see another build mounted on a backblade. Thanks for all the great content!
I have watched every video you posted. I followed the bathroom remo. Used alot of your ideas. I like your content. Down to earth. Dry jokes and all. Lol Wish you would post more. Be good be safe.
No kidding....... Well you never know unless you try. I definitely think you have what it takes. Your content has always been interesting. Best of luck to you. I'll be watching.
Great video, love the drone footage and that’s a beautiful piece of property. Now that you’ve had time with those tires/tread pattern, are you happy with them? Thanks and take care.
Thank you! I'll never go back to any other tread pattern. These work so well across grass, mud and snow it's nuts. They also seem to be wearing much slower than the turf tires I had before but they grip so well I know that can't be right. It may just be that the lugs are so deep on these they can wear off 1/4" and you don't even notice it.
I really like your set-up, especially the DIY Cab, which seems very comfortable. When I bought my used BX-25D, it came with the 50 inch front mounted snowblower, and was equipped with the Curtis semi soft Cab. On windy days, the cab is particularly appreciated. The cab is heated, but I have to seal the many holes around the various levers and especially under the seat, as well as the rear panel made of transparent canvas on velcro, in order to allow the backhoe to be operated in summer. This summer, I intend to modify the back of the cab to make it more airtight in winter. I was planning to use plexiglass to replace the flexible transparent film, mounted on an easily removable frame. I am open to any suggestion of good ideas.
Funny (not funny) story. My neighbor gave me one of those salt dog spreaders that are made to do this so I cut apart and removed my DIY one to install that one. Guess what? It sucked. Complete piece of garbage. I just took it off this year because it would constantly jam up. Who knew my half ass grass seed spreader would work better than a $850 salt spreader.
@@Trialnerror instead of salt you should try a trailer with a tank /spray rig and try pre treating before storms with mag chloride or a brine solution. There is a product called PlaySAFE Ice Blocker for residential applications. Better for your yard, environment, water table and more effective than salt as it acts like a non stick coating that prevents ice from forming in the first place. You can put it on wood, brick, concrete, even decks, and safe for pets. it helps to prevent freeze/thaw damage as well. 1 gallon protects 2000 sq. ft. And no, I dont work for them. Used to be a snowplow driver for the Colorado DOT in Vail, when they started to pretreat the roads.
I love these bx models they seem so capable! With that being said Ill be in the market for a tractor pretty soon. Was wondering as a homeowner do you think this size tractor is enough (power wise and size wise) for just doing maintenance around the house or would you rather go up a size if you could? Looking between the bx models and possibly a 1025r used since the brand new models are a little out of my price range 😂. Not too sure yet.
It's tough. Everyone says to buy the biggest tractor you can afford, and in many way's that's true. BUT, I also love being able to get my little machine into just about anywhere. A bigger machine can be a real pain to maneuver and always causes more turf damage due to weight. All I can say is in the past 7 years I've only wished it was bigger a dozen or so times. I've been glad it wasn't bigger countless times, so for me I'm happy with it.
Excellent video and editing! Real time speed-slo mo-speed up-drone-close up-far away very nicely done! Thanks!
So nice to hear all the work is appreciated because recording some of these is a real pain in the butt!
This video with the awesome music was hypnotic. I couldn't stop watching! Loved the pace and drone footage! Nicely done.... oh yeah nice tractor too!

Great setup. That back blade really helps get the driveway nice and clean. Great drone footage.
I watched because of the tractor and blower set-up but now I have garage envy. Very nice place.

Loving the drone footage. That tractor with all your mods still kicks ass. Thanks for doing another tractor video.
Cab tractor with front blower and rear blade. The ultimate winter tool
What a beautiful place. Give us a tour of that great room.
Thank you very much! I do have some other videos that show the inside, one of them is on refinishing the stairs in that room.
Great drone shots 👍🏻, snowblower and rear blade is a great combo for snow clearing 👍🏻. Have a great weekend 🙂🙋🏼♂️👍🏻
Thanks! Love your name BTW :)
Oh nice solar setup! Also awesome tractor setup! Worked great!!
Thanks 👍
Great video!
Sweet video and nice drone shots
Back in 06 we bought a JD with front loader and backhoe. My bride and I use it just about every day. Well worth having for sure.

@@Trialnerror LOL, some day she will. She's probably afraid of breaking it. lol

I think I'm going to have to build one again. It was really handy to have! Thanks for sticking around through all my random activities lol.
What kind of heater do you have?
Great setup. That is just what I need. If you dont mind me asking, what does a setup like that cost with back blade and everything?
Nice machine. Looking to upgrade mine soon.
Thank you for watching!

You have a headlight out. 😎
It turns on when it wants to and then shuts off. Every time I go to pull it it's working again. It's driving me nuts lol.
I have similar boom light in my takeuchi tb125, it is one of those new automated light systems🤭

Still amazed by the BX1860 snow fighting capabilities. Do you still have your DIY salt spreader?

@@grandtheftautotune7715 I've got one of those 12v 25 gallon sprayers that would probably work perfect for that. Thank you for the idea!
love the video home is #natick had to do this the OLD way wish I had a #KUBOTA ..........................

Twangy guitar was annoying. Snow clearing was great.
