Definitely one of the most under rated single player games everything from the gameplay to mechanics to music to graphics to anything is incredible and extremely immersive consistently with every game only getting better with each installment
I mean, the games are great are definitely great, that's thei boy reason I kept playing because in console they control like a fuckin paraplegic. I almost refunded exodus twice because of how terrible the port is. But everything else was amazing enough to keep me interested.

When I played the redux version last year.. the ending to exodus brought a tear to my eye.. the Little dark one’s compassion to forgive and save humanity inspite of what we did to them was just.. I can’t even explain that.. absolute masterpiece.. can’t wait for Exodus to see what role the dark ones will play in the game
Man, metro exodus is literally my favourite game. The quality of the story, the immersion, the insane graphics, the atmosphere, the gunplay, the vast landscapes of each regions of the world, the people and their emotions. How the game hooks you in completely as if you’re actually in that moment. Truly one of a kind
There’s Easter eegs about them. And you can actually see them watching over you and then disappear Edit: and you can hear their voices near the end of the game
This game....is underrated! The music, the graphics, the story and also the nice and clear gameplay. I played a lot of games...and none of them gave me feelings like this onw
It is insane how beautiful these first two games are for the time. Not only is it still visually appealing to this day, but the stories and level designs are masterful.

When watching the good ending of Last Light, the song made me cry. The song "Farewell" gives a feeling of achivement and that you did the right thing but also in a way sad that the Dark ones are gone. Metro games always made me cry. Now I am waiting for exodus to be free on epic game.
You earned my subscription. Super concise and adequately detailed and i feel like i now know what i need to know before heading into Exodus tomorrow. I played 2033 several times as a kid and only really remembered bits and pieces, same with Last Light although i believe i never actually finished that game. I own them but just couldn't really be bothered playing through them, i just wanna get into Exodus. This was a great video to fill in the gaps in my mind and to find out what happened in Last Light. Super intrigued to see where the story goes in Exodus now! 🙂

I think the reason for Artyom to be that skilled and resilient is because of the early contact he made with a dark one. Hence the reason why Artyom was a one man army
Im absorbed by these games, im playing threw exodus now for the first time. Dude the vulga is one of the coolest most detailed areas in any game ive played. I absolutly love it.
It's ironic that if you get the Good Ending at the end of the first game, that's negated in the sequel. And, the canon ending is the Bad Ending that most players achieve during the 1st one.

I played the other games about 2 years ago on an Ultrawide but that monitor broke down and I never got a replacement and gaming didn't feel the same on a smaller screen so 2 years later I got myself a new ultrawide and Im about to launch Exodus after this video. I really liked the narrative of Metro Last Light, and I think its overall flow is way better than 2033. I haven't finished Metro yet but it feels pretty good so far.

But with coronavirus keeping me at home from work for over a week and shitty weather I opened my mind to games that are mainly focused on their storyline and I gotta admit, this game opened a new world of gaming for me. Metro 2033 takes place 20 years after the bombs fell. You state Artyom is "20 years old" but hasn't been out of his station since he was a child. Obviously Artyom is over 20 years old: 24 years old.
I know this is old but thank you for making this video. i bought metro 3 a few months back but havent been able to play it so i was looking to catch up on the story since i played 1 and 2 a while back and couldnt remember the story so far.
I didnt play the first two games before playing Exodus now, but this storyline is engaging. I'm hoping Exodus has as many twists and turns, fingers crossed. 😊👍
There’s a scene after you leave the fishing town in last light (I think idk it’s been a while) where you’re in sewers just under the surface and you can hear a baby laughing and crying faintly in the sewer, it’s incredibly horrifying and sad because you’ll never find the baby (trust me I tried) but at the same time it’s eerily calm

But your pronounciation of Ostankino tower by basically saying Austin Keeno gave me a good laught although googling it i never managed to find the proper way of how russians actually pronounce it. The last level of metro exodus when you see the big creature leave the tunnel, if you look up at one of the buildings you see a dark one giving you visions again, though you don't interact with it

the mystic element in these games is probably my favorite part about the series.
I recommend playing the games with Russian audio (English text and subs obvs) The voices are just not the same in English.

Metro 2033 takes place 20 years after the bombs fell. You state Artyom is "20 years old" but hasn't been out of his station since he was a child. Obviously Artyom is over 20 years old: 24 years old.
I played these games awhile ago, but I forgot all about them so I had to spin myself up before I played exodus.
i hope the dark ones return in the 4th metro they added so much to the story

I know this is old but thank you for making this video. i bought metro 3 a few months back but havent been able to play it so i was looking to catch up on the story since i played 1 and 2 a while back and couldnt remember the story so far.
I didnt play the first two games before playing Exodus now, but this storyline is engaging. I'm hoping Exodus has as many twists and turns, fingers crossed. 😊👍

There’s a scene after you leave the fishing town in last light (I think idk it’s been a while) where you’re in sewers just under the surface and you can hear a baby laughing and crying faintly in the sewer, it’s incredibly horrifying and sad because you’ll never find the baby (trust me I tried) but at the same time it’s eerily calm
Imagine being adopted by thousand of mutant "monsters" on a apocalyptic world. Also! This video help me a lot since I'm new to this amazing game.

Wow I only just started Metro Exodus. These earlier games stories are a little odd. Exodus seems to be going for a more grounded feel.

Great video The Ashen Hollow. I've played the first 2 games many many times and thought it would be good to refresh me memory before starting Exodus. But your pronounciation of Ostankino tower by basically saying Austin Keeno gave me a good laught although googling it i never managed to find the proper way of how russians actually pronounce it. Anyway keep up the good work.
The last level of metro exodus when you see the big creature leave the tunnel, if you look up at one of the buildings you see a dark one giving you visions again, though you don't interact with it
