Ahh thanks mate 💛 I had a mental block and kept calling it helmet cam 😆 🤣 😂 Such a numpty 😆 I kept forgetting to make sure my forehead was in the line of sight too 😆 Thanks for watching bud 😁🤜🤛
Smashing video Drew!! loved it. Cannot wait to hear your verdict on these, both daily and track. Helmet Cam (German Dictator??)🤣🤣. Yep we are all struggling in this crap weather buddy. Good times to come though with the shows , so looking forward to meeting up chap. Love the provocative wink and flick of the head at the end to finish🤣. You know my sense of humour 🤣. Fabulous mate as always.👍✌🤘
Ahh thanks Daz mate 👍 I was trying so hard to say head cam, and i thought I had, until the editing 😆 Same here mate, can't wait to meet up at the shows. Have you booked yourself in for anywhere yet? I can't seem to help myself with the wink at the end 😆 Thanks for the kind words mate 😁🤜🤛
@@ModFix Got to book some tickets for a few tomorrow buddy, works been crazy so keep forgetting🤣. keep the wink mate (dont mean that in a in a gay way !!🤣). Its always ace what you do brother👍
Great video Andrew, very informative. Just had coilovers fitted to my crz from Rich at Dynodaze. Got loads of rubbing so lots of fine tuning and trimming to do
@@ModFix Tein street basis Z. They are just entry level coilovers. Just wanted ride height adjustability but the ride is much better than my tein lowering springs i had before
Hi mata so what you thing about this suspension is it good idea to change them or maybe go for other brand ? I am thinking to get the same suspensions. ?
I think they are great compared to lowering springs. I couldn't say how they compare to other coilovers but I really like them and have no complaints 👍
Liked and subscribed, great vid! Looking forward to the review. What made you go for the meister r's instead of bc racing or others? I also own a 2008 fn2 and looking to upgrade the suspension.
Thanks so much for subscribing 😁👍 I did loads of asking around on the various FB forums and no one who had Meisters had a bad thing to say about them whereas there was the odd negative option for the other brands. Thanks for watching mate 👍
Great video mate 👍 Did you reuse your standard drop links cos I’ve always read when switching to coilovers you need shorter links to prevent preload of the ARB due to the link hole on the smaller coilover strut being higher than OEM?
@@ModFix Fronts - I didn't put any lubricant on the bottom of the camber plates, and I saw another video by Meisterr where the chap put copper slip on the undersides, not sure if that would stop the creaking, but one of these days I'll try. Video here jump to 9:30 - th-cam.com/video/iLrTrVbWk7k/w-d-xo.html admittedly its on an MX5, but I would have thought the same principle applies.
@@bogmasher Thanks for the info 👍 It didn't even cross my mind to do that as it didn't need it on my BMW. Hopefully I'll get her out on the road soon and find out. Thanks again 😁
Ah meister (mister) modfix 😅🙈 another cracking video boss. You're just so damn informative 😁
Ahh thank you young Rob 😁🤜🤛
You're partially to blame for this but... I'm getting these fitted on my FN2 this week, can't wait! ;)
😆 🤣 sorry 😆
Very nice Drewpert, enjoyed that mate. Loving the head cam 🤘🏻❤️

Class vid as always m8. Always proper informative 👌

Nice vid dude, I have these on mine set all the way down to the lowest setting ;D. these coil overs are such a good upgrade.
Thanks mate 👍 I absolutely love these coilovers. Properly sorted out my ride quality 👌
Great video buddy
Thanks mate 👍

@@DAZR09 😆 🤣 😂 I'm quite lucky in regards to car show tickets. I have the lovely Robstervtec to guide me and tell me how to buy stuff 😁
So what is the verdict? Is there a video of how they performed?

That's cool. I'm hoping for better ride quality. Won't know for a bit until I get her back outside... 👍

There's access panels on the scuttle panel ends. No need to remove the whole lot
Thanks, yeah I found them afterwards. Honda think of everything 😆
Great video mate 👍

Thanks mate 👍 I bought some new Meyle HD drop links. I went for standard length as it still kept the ARB horizontal to the ground 👍
My Meisterr’s creak when turning at very slow speed, will be interested to see if yours do also.
Oh no! Is it the fronts or backs? (or both)

Defo. Won't be able to get her out for a week or two though 👍
Nice job mate. editing down videos takes more time than doing the actual job eh?!
Thanks mate 👍 Yeah it definitely does. Need an assistant 😆
