    I really appreciate these guides - explaining desires/tendencies along with the raw data really helps me. Also including info where and when things go wrong is super useful as those are mostly the things I relate to until I get it under control. Your Hungaroring vid helped me knock a few seconds off (not uncommon with guides when the track is newish) but where it really shone was that I was significantly more consistent because I understand more things like why to put throttle down before a curb, and so on. Fantastic coaching style as well.
    Will you be making a GT3 guide here for Brands?

    I know I'm a bit late to this party but I wanted to show my appreciation. I'm a bit anal as I learn tracks and spend a lot of dedicated time to learning the line, reference points, etc. I have about 400 laps into this track over the last 60 days. BH is a bitch and I've struggled for quite a while. I'm glad to learn that you think it is a difficult and technical track so I can blame at least some of my frustration on the track and away from my poor driving skills. Nevertheless, for the most part (75% or so), I'm with you. But, I picked up some great new pointers for this track from you and am very appreciative. You saved me a couple of weeks at least. Thanks Zermatt!

    • @Zermatt1
      @Zermatt1  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Carl - that's awesome news, glad I could be helpful! BH is definitely a very techincaly track and one people take for granted as it's relatively short. It's tough to separate yourself round here from the average to the elite and hopefully you're well on your way to doing that.

    I just have a question about setup. I noticed that your front brakes are turning yellow under heavy braking. Isn't in a bit too hot for them ? You got plenty of straight to cool them down later, but I still would worry if my car's brakes were overheating like this

    • @Zermatt1
      @Zermatt1  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      On a longer race definitely cause for concern but not so much in hot lap! As long as they cool down a bit!!

    • @Zermatt1

      Very close to the Aggressive setup! Just a few tweaks to suit my driving style.

    • @Zermatt1
      @Zermatt1  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Haha knee you would ask :) I’m trying to figure out the best way to do a tuning series to accurately give some overall tips on tuning rather than just handing out the setups. Solving ‘the issue’ Longer term - very much in the pipeline but for this one the first thing I did was lower the front bumpstop

    • @Zermatt1
      @Zermatt1  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The helicopter view is just a cycled camera, bring up the hud in replay abs you can go through. The above car one you press f7 and then you can move around wherever!!

    on turn 2 the hairpin, how are you able to get full exceleration so early, I always oversteer a lot

    • @Zermatt1
      @Zermatt1  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is all about your steering, when you plant the power, the back of the car will rotate naturally so it's essential you straighten your steering out faster than you think you should.
