- The Ultimate Track Guide Series on ACC returns to Nurburgring, Germany with the GP part of the famous circuit our focus today. An extremly difficult track to maintain speed and stay in a groove with throughout a long stint so we tackle some of the ways to make you faster and more consistent around this masterpiece.

When you say, "Ultimate Track Guide" you really mean it! This is the best format I've seen of any the track guides out there. You do a great job of breaking down the track, section by section, and then going back over those sections with different angles/camera views before moving on to the next section. That really helps those of us who are more visual to understand exactly where the breaking points, turn-in points, on/off throttle points, etc. are. It seems so simple to do it this way but you are the only one I've found who can really put it all together. Thumbs up!!!

Awesome detail and presentation in this track guide. I’ve been stuck doing 57s, but I can now see where I’m loosing time.
I’m exactly same as you stuck at 57s , started to exit some of the corners in 1st gear instead 2nd and feel like I can hit 56s soon, but so far away from 53s :-(

Your track guides are superb. So detailed, helpful and clear. I really appreciate the fact they are based around a repeatable lap time rather than inch from death hotlap on fumes.
Hey - thanks for the kind words. Yeah not really a guide if it's showing you the absolute ultimate ragged edge that's not going to be realistic 'hit the bump in this certain way on 2/2000 laps'.... Cheers

Yes a lot of people take this much too slow to try and get the ‘conventional’ line.

@@Zermatt1 Probably staying further right to enter Ford Kurve. I've got myself down to a low 56 on light fuel, aiming for mid 55's before Sunday for a 1 hour league race. Came back to sim racing recently (Crammond's GP3 was my last addiction so a few years!) and always struggle with Nürburgring. Think I'm getting there. Your video is by far the best of the one's I've watched. Good work chap!

My poor best time is a 1:56.786, but I am Shute to find at least a good second with that guide, cause I go on the first and second section another line than you. I cant get better than 1.59.7 even following this guide. I am pretty new to this track only having done around 50 laps on it on ACC.
Get the lap in the discord in the ACC section asking for advice and the advice shall follow :)

This is the best nurb guide out there for sure. I’ve got over 350 laps on this track and can’t break 2:00 so hoping this will help. I’m following the same lines but I’m leaving 7 seconds behind somehow. I literally do not see how you are carrying 95mph into left hand turn 5.
Really good guide thank you. Something what i notice is that you have car tuned... because if you change tires in the background (in codes) you get better grip but you don't have temperature of tires and not use tire so they last forever.

Hey, first of all great video, the detail was amazing. As someone that has 0 clue of how to make a proper setup, is there any way you can share the one you use? I only make super minor tweaks to the aggresive one, because im afraid i will screw something up.
I can't go down to 1.53's and I don't know what am I doing wrong.

Sounds like either some coaching or discussion is the answer - get into the discord and post some laps / corners and we can analyse as group where you might be missing out. Make sure to include conditions / fuel etc etc

IDK why but T1 I get the mclaren to brake that late but all other corner it was fine

But how can you full throttle while turning ? If i do that i lose the car instantly :/ (event with TC On)
It's a balance between having your steering straighter, probably faster than you think, and you can continue to rotate the car with the throttle, rather than steering. What this will enable you to do is apply full throttle to the actual road (not just bashing it against TCS) as well. Give it a go - you might be surprised how easy it is.
Hi there Zermatt! Hope you are doing well. Seems you are really enjoying ACC. Great track guide video. I always struggle with Nurb Full (in Forza), it is very hard for me to get even a clean lap unless I slow down a bunch. When I do get in a nice groove it seems I lose control of the car usually in random spots. Not sure if its my lack of focus due to the nature of this long track. Anyway, I bought AC for my Xbox awhile ago and got frustrated since I was using a controller and hard to find setups (did not take the time to learn, lol). This week my new wheel arrives and I purchased AC for my PC, so planning to learn some of it as quickly as possible. Was also thinking of adding ACC soon, yet, some folks have indicated that it is not as good as AC due to lack of mods. Any comments? Again, thanks for your support with these videos.
Hey. Love acc, really made me happy. There’s a lot of camber changes, lord struggle with nurb tbh. I haven’t played ac, but I genuinely don’t know many who don’t like acc especially if you like GT cars!

Which DLC options do you recommend for purchase as add-on to ACC? There are 3, Inter GT, GT4, and GT World. Thanks!
Depends what sort of cars you like. I would definitely get inter gt and gt world as you get tracks as well as the two fastest cars (merc evo and Ferrari evo). Next week there’s also a British GT where 3 tracks will come out.
I personally started the game in GT4 and ‘progressed’ to GT3 but now find the GT4s a bit boring ..... can’t really tell you where to spend the money but if you had to leave one out the GT4s would be the one to leave for me.

as much as I try, cant go stable 1.57. anything bellow is lottery. what are realistic times with stock aggressive setup?
What sort of fuel and conditions are you on? This is an impossible question to answer tbh! All relative to your skill level / where you are on other tracks etc etc
how do you brake at 100% without going into ABS. If I brake more than 70% (without steering input) I go into ABS, making it extremely difficult to trail brake
What’s your ABS setting in game (e.g. 3/9 for example)? I’m guessing it’s too high....

What is the difference between adjusting on throttle vs with steering?
It's all about getting the maximum amount of clean traction/power down on the road.
If you are keeping your steering constant and have 70% throttle, the maximum amount of power you're going to get to the road is 70, and because you are steering still, this is less likely.
If you are 100% throttle you get an initial rotation in the car that allows you to neutralise your steering and therefore allow the car (if you get it right) to put 100% of the power down road as the car is straighter, the diff does the work for you.
Hope that answers your question briefly.

The 100m point for turn 1 with a G29 is rather optimistic.
This track guide was produced with a G92 with standard pedals. Don't let equipment hold you back!
