    These smooth Triumph's and a few others like the new Harley Davidson 440X will be contenders.
    The new Royal Enfield 650 "Shotgun" was unveiled and I thought I heard only 25 will be made.
    Himalayan rider here and amazed how the middle of the road, dual sports bike craze has progressed!
    Super Meteor 650 just arrived in Vegas and it is gorgeous 😍.

      The shotgun motoverse edition will be 25 (this is the gorgeous looking bluish shade that you see in most ad's) and were for 25 lucky buyers in Goa India. Starting Jan they should be releasing the regular colours in India. I am not sure though of timelines for the US.

    I've heard it's a big bike, no bad thing. Seems very similar to my BMW G650 X Country - 17/19" wheels, single cylinder, simular seat height etc....

      "Johnny Ride your DR and put the money in your gas tank" - this sounds like a good starting point for a country western song... I need to get to writing. Should it be more in the style of Jonny Cash or Marty Robbins?

      @@On2wheels94 they would be very smart to make a 400 based ADV bike - something like a Tiger "Cub". I would be very interested in that. However, I feel like the Dual Sport segment is waning. Even Suzuki seem poised to let the iconic DR650 die by becoming obsolete and unable to pass emissions requirements in the future

    How does the 400 compare with the 1200s? Just got a 1200xc 23' as my first bike.

    • @JohnnyPowRides
      @JohnnyPowRides  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      The 1200 is super cool. I rode Steve's 1200 for a few miles in New Mexico on some gravel when we did the Divide Route. Lots of power and character. The 400x is a baby in comparison. Half the power, but also half the price. I guess if I wanted to I could buy a larger bike but I kind of have a soft spot for smaller budget single cylinder bikes, it seems.
