this is the best tutorial video ever i have watched recently, no unnecessary speech , no why she is doing info nothing like that straight to point i love it and sub this channel now
Hello, Daisy. Excellent, on the point. Very logic and easy. - One question: What If I like to transfer a realistic photography image (in png, 350 dpi, size 2000 x 2000 pixels) into a sgv ? I tried it in Inkskape in MultiColours with 12 scans, and I lost a lot of details. Tks for teaching
You dont mention having to adjust the lines in the flower to close the object before filling it. At 2:40 nodes suddenly appear and the object has changed. Im assuming this is done to avoid the fill colour overflowing into the background? Might pay to mention these things so people dont run into the same problem.
Great Video, I am trying to do the opposite. I design projects that are multi layer and will be laid out as multi color projects. I would like to be able to bring in my layer from Lightburn as an SVG and separate them and then color those layers to try and decide on a final color scheme. Is this possible
Thanks for the clear explanation! How well does it go picking up anti-aliased lines or any other sort of noise that might be in the image like compression artefacts?
Thank you for the tutorial... However, I just downloaded inkscape on my new laptop after watching video and yours looks different than mine. can you please help me? I don't see the same screen to the right that pops up in your when I click path abd trace I can't attach a picture. But I am trying to get my single layer file to a multi layer file to cut in cricut.
I have Inkscape latest version. I imported a file that is .PNG format. This file has many objects that are grouped together. I am trying to ungroup them, but I am having difficult. How do I ungroup a .PNG image?
@@flaquis2729 A lady here helped me solve that hick up. It is not Inkscape or version. But rather the format of the file. .PNG kinda sorta is the final output or exported file or saved in that format. For better results, work and keep your original file in .SVG file format. I tried that and it works. I now work and save my original files using .SVG and when I export the file I use .png. Hope this helps.
Thank you Daisy, you saved me hours of research! Everyone else made it more complex than it really is.
