Nice job. Question: Would a bad motor on the mirror damage the switch? I have changed the switch twice, and after a few uses, the passenger mirror will no longer move left, but moves in all other directions. Would this burn out a connection in the switch? (My guess is this is the caae, requiring me to replace BOTH the mirror AND the switch.)
At least he starts with the fuse where any good electrician always looks.

Vertical works, but horizontal does not work, how to diagnose? Maybe water pressure damage during car washing
My powers mirrors work properly on my driver side, but passenger side left and right function work oppositely. However the up and down is fine. Any ideas?

i have problem with my 2005 nissan frontier side mirror switch if I change to the left mirror is only move to out side left no down or up if I change to the right side mirror only move to up and to inn no move down

Got a question for you, Took mirrors out of a 90 Firebird but the switch does not work or I just don't have it wired right. I was trying to test it out, so I ran it straight from the battery. The mirrors work but I didn't get all of the wires, the salvage yard pulled the parts for me. They only gave me the switch and the mirrors, no power and no ground wires. If the switch is bad, is there an another switch that I can use, because no one has 90 Firebird mirror switch. Can you tell me how to wire up this switch, I did noticed that Hawks camaro have 92 camaro mirror switches, but the back is different from the Firebird.

I did that but had to rotate the wires to get the mirror it to go in the opposite direction

The same way you test for "positive" current (at the connector ) you need to make sure there is a "negative" , also....
right from the beginning.
