what should be the salary threshold if am switching from one skilled worker visa to the other eg. from windows fabricator to welder fabricator
This is currently £38,700 per year as of April 4, 2024. However, there are exceptions where you might qualify with a lower salary:

You have to apply for each applicant separately and all application will be connected with your UAN number and you will use the cover letter to explain all in details. You need to pay fees for each applicant.

Yes, you can sponsor family. If your occupation is not on the Shortage Occupation List, you must meet a minimum salary threshold. This threshold is currently set at £38,700 per year (as of April 4, 2024). Additionally, the salary must be enough to support your entire family unit (including yourself).

Unfortunately, a bachelor's degree alone wouldn't qualify you for the new entrant visa within the UK Skilled Worker visa route.
The new entrant visa is designed for recent graduates (under 2 years after graduation) to gain work experience in the UK. However, it has specific requirements on top of having a degree:
Sponsored Job Offer: You need a job offer from a licensed sponsor in the UK that's specifically on the "Shortage Occupation List" www.gov.uk/government/publications/skilled-worker-visa-immigration-salary-list. This list includes roles where there's a lack of qualified UK workers.
Salary Threshold: The offered salary must meet the minimum salary threshold for your specific occupation, even if it falls between 70% and 90% of the going rate due to your recent graduate status.

"I have CoS before 4-April-24 for 2127 (Process Engineer). As we are in process of visa application (not yet applied till 05-May-24). We came to know that as per new rules after 04-April-24 salary will be applicable as “lower” going rate, kindly suggest so that we will discuss with my employer for CoS update:
1- Old CoS, job code was 2127 (Production and Process Engineer), whereas rule after 04-April-24, job code is 2125 (production and Process engineer)
2- Salary mention on CoS 33,000/- UK, whereas rule after 04-April-24, new salary as per “lower” going rate is 35,700/- UK
These changes to be incorporated in “Notes” of CoS, will this serve the purpose?

I accidently gave 2010 SOC code on my dependent visa application which is on my wifes old cos before 4th April. Will this cause a rejection? New code is 2237: staff Nurse but what I gave from my old cos is 2231which is midwiferynurse right now. Can you please let me know.

Prepare an explanation: If reissuing the COS isn't possible, you can still submit the application with a detailed cover letter explaining the mistake. Clearly state the correct SOC code (2237) and why the wrong one was initially provided. Include any evidence that supports your explanation, such as your wife's nursing qualifications or job description.
