BMW X5 E70 door handle Comfort access replacement. Battery drain fixed DIY

In this video I will be showing you how to dismantle the door handle of your E70 BMW X5 facelift , in my case that was the reason for battery drain problem I’ve also had.
BMW X5 E70 facelift door handle comfort access is not repairable, need to buy new one and just replace it.
Part Numbers:
51227207567 - left side painted door handle (front and rear left)
51227207568 - right side painted door handle
(front and rear right)
If you have the right parts listed above , you can do it yourself DIY very easy and very fast for about 10 - 15 minutes . Don t forget that problem like this can easily drain your car battery .

After installing the key lock, I'm unable to lock/unlock with the mechanical key, what am I missing? The comfort access works fine now. Thanks!

Was this a new part you used or a second hand. Did you need to do any coding?

Not needed coding, you just have to buy new comfort access handle, there is only left or right handle, front is same as rear, you just type CAS door handle E70 on ebay

@@SuperFastDriver problem is I have 416 carbon black, not may used handles out there. I will probably order from BMW, beed both front door handles, right. Rear only opens but doesnt lock but thats ok
