As someone who has worn the mando and the clone trooper helmets for replicas, the vision is terrible unless you look directly ahead. Can't move your eyes at all.
That’s so sweet that he let him interact with Grogu and the moment was preserved instead of him or a cast member correcting the child. Amazing costume!
@@Matt..S this is a Disneyland, and the man in the Mando costume is a hired actor, or in other words cast member. As they are in character the entire time they are "on stage" or in the public area of the park. For the correcting, I'm not sure what it could be referring to, but sometimes they need to inform of rules or correct people who do things they shouldn't, ie if an adult dawns a costume of their own. As Park rules say only the cast and kids can wear them.
@@ariochiv I used the wrong word! But usually in the videos I’ve seen, when anyone gets too close to Grogu, the cast members say “stay back,” etc. I’m really glad they allowed the child to get close for the encounter. It was very sweet.

I love the fact that he's down to talk to anyone, but when he sees the kid it's... It's time to do my job and it seemed like he was pretty impressed by body movements. That is what makes the walking characters pretty legit
Best thing about this besides the baby mando meeting his idol, is the way the mando controls his voice lines with his hands. Crazy talent to remember those movements. The first order troopers and kylo work the same way. If you watch the mandos hand they move in deliberate patterns to queue the lines he intends to say. So cool. Nice video!
@@serenitysfirefly It has to do with their fingers and hand movements. Im pretty sure there is a cleanse sequence to start into another voice path that the actor chooses. In this video I believe the cleanse is when the mando turns from talking to the first group of people and sort of turns his hand and wrist like he is checking his wrist amor as he comes to talk to the little mando. But you have to watch both hands as he talks to the kid. There are motion sensors on his fingers and it looks twitchy sometimes but the movements have to be deliberate to get to the right line set. You see this with a lot of the 1st order troopers too. Thats why they all sound the same ha
I'll be honest, when I read this comment I didn't believe it at all ... but watching it back, you're definitely right it's controlled by the hand movements!
It's not a soundboard, it's a voice manipulator. These actors can freely improvise while sounding like Pedro. The hand gestures don't control anything they're just gesticulating and add to the acting of a faceless character.
I would’ve love to see the actor starting questioning the kid: M: have you ever removed your helmet? K: no M: has it ever been removed by others? K: never M: this is the way
The best part about it is if you listen closely after the guy points at the kid to let his friends know to move, they all say “This is the Way” one after another - had my tearing up and giggling at how nerdy and sweet it was lol
@@krish_4872 I just caught that. Yeah, this is one of those forever memories. Glad it was recorded for the little dude, I'd nerd out about that forever lol

The humble actors of Disney world have more heart, and more love towards the fans than the corporate Disney Empire could ever hope to understand. This is the way. It always was... and always will be.
The coolest thing i can imagine disney doing is adding an attraction where you can visit the forge and donate any valuable metals like jewelry and the such, the profit from selling the jewelry would go towards helping children in need who have illnesses like cancer and the like (the foundlings) in return you could give them a shipping address and they send you a piece of armor made of “beskar” in the mail after your visit baring a signet of your choosing
The cast at this place seems to be a whole bunch or really good guys, the storm troopers know how to have a laugh with kids and this was quite sweet too
It feels like them. Mando has seen his self back in time and also that he’s like probably like “ why is there another me? “ that could be a funny thing.
When I was at Disney World a few weeks ago, I saw Rey and Chewbacca, C-3PO and First Order Stormtroopers walking around but not the Mandalorian and Grogu. I did wait in line at the Star Wars Launch Bay to meet Darth Vader and Chewbacca
The fact the charaterz are done so well is why we love these entertainers like old days when Andys comming they drop on floor. But I stop due health safty and some them costumes could came unheard thus breaking the nagic
I love that when Mando sees the kid, he has to kind of step back like "Oh that's pretty cool"
