Thank you for this. I was part of the opening crew and seeing clips of me and my friends during this special part of our lives brought a smile to my face. I am so proud of what this team created.
I probably saw you then! We were on the first or second voyage and loved it so much. ❤ My mom had an Ewok that she named Enoch and the crew members before the shuttle thought that was awesome. If it would've been open just a little longer we would've gone back.
What’s funny is we actually had the same table as Jenny. And we show it and talk about it one of our videos. That view sucked. But we made the best of it. Thanks for watching ;)
I am at least happy I got to watch Muppet Vision and the DinoLand at DisneyWorld at Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios before they were shut down and replaced by a Monsters' Inc. Land and Zootopia and Moana Land.
I was lucky enough to be able to go here, and I sided with him and the First Order. Best choice by far, he was so entertaining and funny. Also thank you for this video, it brings back a hell of a lot of amazing memories.
I could never in a million years have afforded to go to this experience. But as a professional improv actor I can say that working a show like this would have been a dream come true. Wow. I'm absolutely gobsmacked; and so thoroughly jealous/happy for you that you got to experience this art multiple times from multiple angles. Good for you, truly. Thank you for preserving and sharing this incredible work.
I could actually cry. A 4 hour edit. Thank you both so much for preserving this piece of Star Wars history. I’m still reeling in the fact that I’ll never be able to take my kids to this but now, this will fall right in line in our viewings of Star Wars movies. So so thankful for this, and for your dedication to such an incredible experience.
@@OrdinaryAdventuresRest Assured that an experience similar to this will Quote "RISE" again....there is too much desire for such ..& it will just be a matter researching the affordability. Most likely it can evolve into a Lunch & Dinner Show. Only time will tell.
Dearest Kitra and dearest Peter, thank you. I know how hard this must have been to compile. You masterfully told the story of the halcyon in a way only someone on an ordinary adventure can. Where we had never met before this, you warmed our hearts showing us your adventures in our happiest place on earth. You brought happiness every week to our house before, during, and after the pandemic. You inspired our son to search for black kyber crystals. And to find a voice as a little vlogger. After this, we all became family. And that will be tattooed (literally) on me for ever. We love you guys. Good journey and may the stars always light your way.
1:2:52 So cool that we heard the voice of Yoda from his force spirit in that scene, but what about Anakin Skywalker, Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Mace Windu and Qui-Gon Jinn? (But not Han Solo and Padme; those characters are long dead and were never force sensitive in the first place.)
@@IndriidaeNTthis was in context to a Holocron that yoda had placed a message. The others weren’t involved. Anakin would not have made sense. Obi wan could have. But it wasn’t like voices of the Jedi in the end of rise of skywalker. It was a specific message from a specific holocron. Hope that helps.
I hope everyone appreciates the sheer amount of work that went into this. Very ambitious. I am so grateful to you both and to any other seen or unseen members of the team.
Your Ode to The Galactic Starcruiser will go down in history and I'm sure thousands will come back and refer to this video for the experience that Disney stretched boundaries on. You did a beautiful collective video with beautiful various perspectives all around. The smiles and tears from Kitra in the Jedi experience in the environment simulator and Peter after the Heist for Ryloth are priceless and must-sees for all viewers. Love you guys!
I am so emotional watching this, knowing I will never get to experience such a wonderful and unique experience. It really hurts knowing such an original idea failed and had to be shut down, and will maybe never exist again. Thank you for taking people like me along, so we still get to experience it through your eyes. May the force be with you :)
This is going to go down in history with all the other short lived Disney attractions. I think its good that this video exists and I think people will come back to watch this for decades to see what it was.
Peter and Kitra, thank you so much for this labor of love. No one else has done anything like this and it's so special to have and enjoy. I never got to experience this in person so to have this video to watch and appreciate means a lot. You can tell through your filming and editing not only how much you loved this, but how much the cast members loved it too. You guys and this channel are just really special and I hope you know how much you're loved and appreciated. ❤
Ok, that bit with the rocks was perfect. No voice from the ceiling, no flashing lights, just a good setup, a little truth, and some earnest love for the fantasy.
What an intense theatrical role for these cast members. They have all nailed their roles and I'm grateful you have shared their craft in this way. Thank you for all your hard work on this! Even this casual fan is extremely moved.
This edit turned out so well!! My husband and I had already watched every one of your Halcyon videos, so I didn’t think I would end up watching all 4 hours, but I was quickly invested, watched start to finish and 100% cried at the end. Thank you for putting this together ❤
I watched every single minute of this over a course of 3 days❤ I’ve NEVER watched a single Star Wars movie. But this literally made me cry! The community, the fans, the story, the love for the franchise. This was literally better than a movie you had me on the edge of my seat the whole entire time!
Kitras spiritual/force awakening is one of my favorite moments of OA lore. The way I would have been full on balling my eyes out and asking that man “what are we” after 😂😂 thank you for sharing what so many of us would have never been able to experience 💕
I'm about to watch and the first thing that came to mind is the amount of editing that this took. I don't even need to see it to understand this could be Kitra's greatest triumph and labor of love. Passion translates through your craft. Congrats on all you both have done and I'm anticipating more great things. Thanks.
The idea of a Westworld-style fully immersive Star Wars experience was too beautiful for this world. I never would've been able to afford a trip on the Halcyon, and I'm bummed out that it's gone. I started watching your videos when Galaxy's Edge opened, as I was planning a trip to Disneyland with one of my cousin's family and I wanted to get the most out of our time on Batuu. Thanks for letting us experience the Galactic Starcruiser from home.
Honestly so thankful that we could experience this once-in-a-lifetime experience. Yes it was expensive but yes it was one of the greatest experiences I've done - Im still talking about it to friends and family members a year after doing it which is a testament to what they had built there. Sucks so many people couldn't experience it, sucks it is shutting down, sucks that Universal Studios won't steal this idea for a Hogwarts version... Awesome work to the team that made our 2 nights so memorable and all the Imagineers who created this unforgettable experience.
I can't imagine the time and effort that went into this video. I'm heartbroken I never got to experience this and I could not be more grateful to you for this video. You've done a service to the whole theme park enthusiast world!
Thank you both for documenting this amazing experience! Truly a highlight of my life was being on the May 4th cruise. We will always be able to watch this extended full version and remember the joy, together...as one! Ta'bu e tay
It’s been so emotional to start this. My memories online keep showing me that a year ago i was preparing for our first, and turns out only voyage. Your videos helped prepare us for our first trip and now you gift all of us with this! To have this amount of footage compiled into this beautiful retrospective to come back and visit the Halcyon means so much. Thank you both for this! May the stars light your way.
Thank you so much for posting this. I'd heard in your podcast episode on Heroes of the Halcyon that you had some 11(?) hours of footage from your Starcruiser experiences, and I'd hoped that we might get to see the footage that didn't make the cut for your other videos. Because our collective memories are all we have left of the Galactic Starcruiser. Thank you both for taking the time to splice together this chronological look into the Starcruiser stories. You have such an honest way of presenting your adventures; people who watch your videos trust your opinions. Thank you for showing what the Galactic Starcruiser truly was... and why the Halcyon and her cast and crew are so dear to those of us who journeyed with her. May the Stars Light Your Way!
Thanks for listening to that episode. The 11 hours was just from our first voyage 😂 😅 we probably have another 20 hours from the 3 next voyages. We don’t really go back and add anything that was cut back in but we added 40 min of stuff from voyage 4 and condensed the other stuff down to the essentials of the experience.
For those of you lucky enough to go on this voyage, you are now a part of Star Wars history. That’s amazing. Your documentary keeps this story alive forever. ❤
Dear Kitra and Peter, Thank you so much for all your hard work documenting this wonderful experience! Even though many of us never had the opportunity or means to go, we got to experience a small part of the journey through your always optimistic and never cynical eyes!!! I have to admit that when I watched your first journey on the StarCruiser, I teared up with emotion at the end and watching this 4 hour spectacle, I teared up again. The amount of creativity, artistry, performance, commitment, care, service and love from the whole cast and behind-the-scenes crew was amazing and will probably never be matched again. Thank you for archiving a treasure!!!
Thank you, Ordinary Adventures for sharing this experience for those of us that were never able to join the Halcyon crew. It's an adventure I always wanted to embark on, just didn't happen.
I don’t understand how you got this together since the last few weeks have been Florida, packing for Japan and starting that trip. I’m not complaining since I have been obsessing about the Halcyon as an outsider vicariously and joined the Halcyon Legacy Facebook group 2 days ago to scratch that itch. So many people on that group trying to ‘compile’, very cool that you guys pulled this off.
THIS is why I always go to Ordinary Adventures first. You have such great coverage of Disney around the globe, and the way you are with each other and with everyone you interact with, your personalities seem built for this. I couldn’t ask for better hosts for this content, and the camera work, editing, and sound are on point, and that’s not easy in the environments you need to record in. Thank you for this documentary! I just noticed that you are replying to all of the comments. I don’t know if that extends this far after posting, but wow, you’re a great TH-camr. It’s the little things, and you are putting your efforts in the right places and in the right ways. I hope your subscription numbers continue to rise. You deserve it!
My husband and I were waiting until our finances were in a better spot and our son was a little older to go, we’d been looking forward to it ever since it opened. I appreciate the detail that went into this mega cut. I don’t think it could ever be replicated to this degree, but hopefully WDW provides more immersive experiences in the future.
Thanks so much. Wish you could have experienced it yourself. I hope Disney doesn’t give up on immersive experiences like this but after then closing this I’m cynical that we’ll ever get anything like this again 😔
Kitra and Peter! You two are the freaking best! A 4 hour Star Wars Galatic Cruiser upload! You two truly are one of the best and you don’t know how awesome yall and how loved yall are by the community! Yall make me wanna end up theme park vlogging myself as I am looking for a way to get into it here in Texas! Appreciate you two and can’t wait for more content
@@OrdinaryAdventuresoh I know! But theme parks has always been what’s interested me the most and I LOVE Disney and whole lot! Also would love to one day just be able to drop it all and travel places by car but my ultimate goal is theme parks especially Disney :)
If anyone was going to document the complete story of this it’d be you guys! Can’t wait to sit down and watch the entire episode..love all of your videos!
You know, it's ok to like both videos. Some people had a good time, regardless of price (and issues). Some people wanted to have a good time, but didn't, price being part of it. I'm glad you had fun, you've given me ideas before I do this stuff, but Jenny made some pretty good points as she's also a fan. Same with Marvel or SW, some of us complain because we hate seeing something we love do poorly, some are just along for the ride...
Haven’t seen her video. I’m sad she had a very bad time. All I can tell you is we loved it with a few nitpicks. It’s not that we wanted to love it it was that it was an amazing experienced (albeit badly marketed and expensive). We personally know hundreds of people who have gone and most loved it, some loved it so much they got tattoos of the Starcruiser logo. I’m sad nothing like this will probably happen again.
I'm enjoying the smuggler's storyline so much. We hadn't seen it from your earlier videos. I continue to be amazed at the cast member's ability to improvise in response to passengers.❤
This is such a fitting tribute to an experience that the world just wasn’t ready for yet. I loved everything about the Starcruiser concept, but all the parts that made it amazing were the things that the average person would never indulge in. Complete immersion in an incredible story where you can live out a childhood dream while dressing up and being around likeminded people? To the boring average people, that’s just cosplay and LARPing and being nerdy, all things people have been told they shouldn’t enjoy (even though we know they’re lying to themselves.) The Starcruiser was for an idealistic world where people are joyful and passionate, and a lot of people just aren’t ready to be like that. I’m heartbroken I’ll never get to experience the Halcyeon, but I’m hopeful it will return in some way. Peter and Kitra, thank you for giving us the most in depth videos possible and for sharing this with all of us who never got to experience it. Your filming and editing made this so much more than a recap; it was a completely new retelling in a video that is a piece of art. Thank you for sharing it with us.
Perfect day for this to come out. It's snowing in Denver so I'm staying home. I'm just waiting for some Disney parks fans to show up out here and say that snow doesn't go with Halloween. 🤣
Thank you for putting all of this together for us. I am so sad that they outpriced themselves. But now we get to experience this through all of your hard work. Thank you again for all you do
My friends, Peter and Kitra, I want to thank you from the deepest bottom of my heart for going to such lengths to document the truly remarkable piece of art that was the Halcyon. I have literally wanted to do something like that since I was 4 years old, so, 41 years of hoping. Sadly, my finances and health never allowed me the chance to visit the Halcyon, and these videos are the closest I will get. I also appreciate you documenting all of the various storylines to provide a full coverage. I felt moved to tears when Kitra was too. (In fact, I've never made it through Order 66 without weeping.) I agree wholeheartedly with Peter's assertion that the Galactic Starcruiser didn't fail Disney - Disney failed the Galactic Starcruiser with its overpricing and its . . . I'm not sure the adjectives I want to use here would be acceptable, so I will settle for Disney's abysmally poor marketing. I've been slow-writing a Star Wars story, inspired by the release of Galaxy's Edge, which your videos have helped me flesh out to get the real feel, and decided to expand the story to include the Halcyon. Your videos there will prove an invaluable tool, and a lasting source of joy as I permanently add this video to my Star Wars ultra-binge list. It took me two weeks to work up the nerve to watch this, as I have been so saddened by the closing, and seeing the cast of the Halcyon also growing so emotional at their farewells is doing the same to me as I'm typing this. Again, thank you so much, for this amazing epic journey into an underappreciated piece of Star Wars.
😢😢😢 wow! thanks for all of the hard work to put this together. I loved it all but my favorite part was the final goodbyes. The cast and crew were truly amazing. Thank you for sharing that special moment. May the stars light your way.
Thank you so much for sharing the Galactic Starcruiser with us. Your documentation was excellent - I felt like I was there, and I watched every minute that you posted. There was so much magic integrated into the cruiser. Totally teared up at the end, when the cast were clearly saying goodbyes to the Halcyon and not just to the audience. I'll be glad to be able to visit this ship again by watching the video here.
That was phenomenal! Thank you so much for putting this video together, I watched the entire thing. I’m not sure what’s next for the Galactic Starcruiser, but we were the lucky ones that experienced it the way Imagineers dreamed it up. You two are awesome ❤
Man what can I say... This was such a ride. I remember when you guys first went and I was so excited because I knew when you first stepped through the doors that it would be everything I wanted. After experiencing Galaxy's Edge I knew that this would be something I had to experience. But then all of a sudden it was being shuttered and I, like you, felt sad that I and many others would never get the chance to experience this one of a kind adventure. Disney really should have handled this entire thing better. Be it the price point, how they should have transferred great characters like Gaia & Ouannii to Galaxy's Edge but didn't, or just not giving the whole thing a better chance at life. It was great to go back down memory road and rewatch all of this all over, and in full. This alone will stand in the years to come such a complete showing of something that many who hated it and wanted it to fail will forget, but that we, the fans and admirers will not. So thank you so much for your dedication and monstrous edit of this wonderful experience.
Peter and Kitra, thank you so much for this compilation video; it was clearly a labor of love. I'm particularly glad you included more of the smugglers story, which i hadn't gotten before. It really shows how deep the experience could go and how intertwined the plot lines were.
It’s funny after 3 voyages we never participated in the smuggler story which just goes to show you how much replay-ability there was. We still never really participated in the Sandro storyline either.
@@OrdinaryAdventures yes, I never cease to be impressed by the thought and planning that went into creating this world, and also the cast and cast members that pulled it off. Thank you, imagineers, and again thank you OA for bringing this to us.
You know, Even after I saw all your other videos on this, I still got the goosebumps in parts of this. I had all the feels. It was so amazing to see all this, I can only imagine how it felt to be there. At least I got to see it in your videos, and am thankful for that. Oh man, I wish they could still do this haha
Thank you for putting this together! My husband was part of the imagineering team, and was one of the few to enjoy the maiden voyage's muster. And lucky for us you captured him in the back ground so we get a have this happy little souvenir :)
My family was planning on going when our son was a bit older. Now I'm sorry we waited. From these videos, I can tell it was a truly incredible experience. I don't think people realized they would become part of a Broadway quality production with the most amazing theming.
The characters interactions with the kids is so wholesome but they’re also in character. It’s just so cool seeing how well they’re able to balance all that is happening without ruining the magic.
Wow! Just wow. Such an amazing video and what hard work you put into getting this all edited together! Excellent work and thanks for bringing us along again especially not being able to experience this any other way! You both rock!
I could really tell how special and important the starcruiser was to you guys based on this video- it was like watching your ‘farewell love letter’ to the starcruiser…again, I’m glad you got to experience this and thank you for sharing this with us as well~ 🥰
What an amazing compilation video. Really makes me a little sad that I never got to experience the Halcyon first hand. Thanks for putting this together.
AWESOME JOB PETER!! You did an AMAZING job capturing the experience. I'm bummed my husband and I didn't get a chance to experience this so your video means so much more! I hope Disney revives the Halcyon in some way in the near future! Thanks Again for your hard work!!!
2 hr in, Lt. Croy is a delight Everything looks emaculate The little side story with the rocks and the force was simply magnificant How you put this together was incredible and I'm hoping back on tomorrow to finish the other half of the story!
@@OrdinaryAdventures Well, like many I didn't get to make it out there, so this gift you have crafted to share the amazing work of the cast and crew is incredible. I finally got around to finishing the last two hours and it was great. The fight between Rey and Kylo was incredible. It was such a great story. Thank you!
Just watched the whole thing…. Why am I crying?👏❤️. Well done. Thanks for the journey and the adventure- it was not ordinary, turns out it was really special. 👏👏👏👏👏
Thank you so much for your hard work. I love that you were able to go multiple times and have different experiences! The smuggler storyline seemed so fun, that was a great Ray Cole! 👏👏 I loved Lieutenant Kroy the best, so many laughs! I'm sad I won't get to experience this in person but grateful for your videos ❤
Thank you for this today. A 4 hour video is the exact amount of time to get me through my dialysis treatment this afternoon. Unfortunately, I go 4 days a week and often find myself going stir crazy.
This adventure truly was beautiful ❤️ thank you both for the time and effort that went into this and also the crew who made this experience so memorable. Only wish that it had stood the test of time because I feel in time Disney would have adapted the experience and brought new life to it
this video was amazing, I'm so glad I got to experience it through you both. I cried so many times watching, during the light saber training and especially the rock moving training. The stuff he was saying to you Kitra was so life inspiring I was balling watching it like he was speaking to me. the Gaya performance was so cool. watching this has me so excited for Star Wars night and I can't wait to go to Ogas and get some of the same drinks and glassware that was on the galactic cruiser. this was so fun to watch I wish I could experience for myself, but this was the next best thing. thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much for this. It was a privilege to share the penultimate journey with you, and these memories are small treasures that will grow and flourish in all our hearts. Mist sends his regards and hope we all continually get to live out our dreams; the Halcyon may be drydocked, but our adventures have just begun! Thanks again.
I came across the channel/followed after seeing your first videos on Galactic Starcruiser back in '21! Sad I won't be able to save up and experience this myself now, but thank you so much for sharing your experience(s)! Especially in such a well edited/structured video :)
The way you have pieced this together is amazing. You both truly looked like you had a ball. The cast were fantastic, to keep their places, interact with all ages and remember so many of you. They really were the ones who made it special. I hope they found work elsewhere. Hopefully Disney will find a cheaper way to make something like this happen again.
I teared up multiple times during this, I can only imagine what it was like actually being in the place, we lost a very special experience but thank you two so much for all the work you put into preserving it forever, this was a beautiful experience you shared with all of us.
This was the absolute best!!! Love love love the length and detail in this video. Thank you I-love so many of the characters that you meet and they seem so familiar now. Thank you for taking us along on this not so ordinary adventure!
This is amazing. I have watched all your vids on the Starcruiser (as well as just about everything else). My fiancee and I went on this adventure once as we considered it a bucket list item, being long time SW nerds. To see all the storylines gathered in one place was amazing. I will say I teared up more than once remembering our own adventure there. Thank you for taking the time to edit this story together, it was amazing to watch. I hope that some of the parts of this experience can be re-tooled so everyone can experience at least some of what made this experience such a one of a kind ride. Chandrila Forever!
Wow wow wow Peter, you really captured something special here. You should honestly think about cutting this down to feature film length and perhaps adding in some interviews and put it out as a real documentary. I'm serious (with the blessings from Disney of course -- heck they may even buy it from you). You basically documented what was one of the best live-action / immersive theatre productions ever made. Those actors deserve recognition.
This was such an amazing and magical experience, and I regret I could only do it once... thanks so much for posting this compilation. There is only so much of this story that anyone could see in a single trip, and I'm very grateful for this chance to peek into some of the corners I missed! (although I'm IN some of the other corners in your video too, and it's been delightful to relive those moments)
Thank you for the wonderful edit of all of your experiences! This was an amazing idea that just never found it's footing, but will live on with videos like these! Thank you for sharing it with those of us who never got the chance to go. 🤗

Alright lady, I’m jumping in😊 Thanks for recording this for posterity, many of us never had the opportunity to experience this❤ I really think Disney had an innovative and super creative concept here, it may just be better applied ina different way, like on a cruise or something in a shorter format. Either way special experience ❤🎉😊
I haven't watched too much of the galactic starcruiser since I didn't want to spoil it for myself but now since I can't experience it this has been an awesome watch. I just got to the part where Kitra force pulled the stone and wow, just wow. That cast member and the entire experience is just moving. What a treat you guys. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you for taking people like me along, so we still get to experience it through your eyes. May the force be with you :)
Thanks so much. I wish you could have experienced this in person!
This is going to go down in history with all the other short lived Disney attractions. I think its good that this video exists and I think people will come back to watch this for decades to see what it was.
This is exactly why I wanted to make this edit
Peter and Kitra, thank you so much for this labor of love. No one else has done anything like this and it's so special to have and enjoy. I never got to experience this in person so to have this video to watch and appreciate means a lot. You can tell through your filming and editing not only how much you loved this, but how much the cast members loved it too. You guys and this channel are just really special and I hope you know how much you're loved and appreciated. ❤
❤️ thank you so much Lauren!
Ok, that bit with the rocks was perfect. No voice from the ceiling, no flashing lights, just a good setup, a little truth, and some earnest love for the fantasy.
It’s a moment we’ll remember forever
Why did I cry tho
2:34:20 That guy reminds me of George Lucas, the filmmaker who invented the Star Wars franchise.
What an intense theatrical role for these cast members. They have all nailed their roles and I'm grateful you have shared their craft in this way. Thank you for all your hard work on this! Even this casual fan is extremely moved.
🙌 the cast was the best
a 4 hour ordinary adventures video is one of the best things ever
😁
gotta a top 3 moment for the nerd in me for the last five years
This edit turned out so well!! My husband and I had already watched every one of your Halcyon videos, so I didn’t think I would end up watching all 4 hours, but I was quickly invested, watched start to finish and 100% cried at the end. Thank you for putting this together ❤
This is a great compliment. Thank you so much
I watched every single minute of this over a course of 3 days❤ I’ve NEVER watched a single Star Wars movie. But this literally made me cry! The community, the fans, the story, the love for the franchise. This was literally better than a movie you had me on the edge of my seat the whole entire time!
Awwwww thank you so much
Kitras spiritual/force awakening is one of my favorite moments of OA lore. The way I would have been full on balling my eyes out and asking that man “what are we” after 😂😂 thank you for sharing what so many of us would have never been able to experience 💕
❤️
I'm about to watch and the first thing that came to mind is the amount of editing that this took. I don't even need to see it to understand this could be Kitra's greatest triumph and labor of love. Passion translates through your craft. Congrats on all you both have done and I'm anticipating more great things. Thanks.
Peter was actually the one who put this mega cut together. Took a couple weeks
@@OrdinaryAdventures thanks Peter!
Thanks!
Thank you so much, Scott!!
❤️
Absolutely. I think you hit the nail on the head. Too special for our world 😞
Honestly so thankful that we could experience this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
I hope that something like this happens again but sadly I think it won’t 😔
A Hogwarts immersive experience would be so insane!
It looked amazing. Sad I can't see it. A Hogwarts one would be amazing.
I can't imagine the time and effort that went into this video. I'm heartbroken I never got to experience this and I could not be more grateful to you for this video. You've done a service to the whole theme park enthusiast world!
❤️
Thank you both for documenting this amazing experience! Truly a highlight of my life was being on the May 4th cruise. We will always be able to watch this extended full version and remember the joy, together...as one! Ta'bu e tay
❤️
It’s been so emotional to start this. My memories online keep showing me that a year ago i was preparing for our first, and turns out only voyage. Your videos helped prepare us for our first trip and now you gift all of us with this! To have this amount of footage compiled into this beautiful retrospective to come back and visit the Halcyon means so much. Thank you both for this! May the stars light your way.
❤️ I’m glad you go to go and experience this!
🙌
❤️ thank you for watching and the very kind words
Thank you, Ordinary Adventures for sharing this experience for those of us that were never able to join the Halcyon crew. It's an adventure I always wanted to embark on, just didn't happen.
Thank you 🙏
I don’t understand how you got this together since the last few weeks have been Florida, packing for Japan and starting that trip. I’m not complaining since I have been obsessing about the Halcyon as an outsider vicariously and joined the Halcyon Legacy Facebook group 2 days ago to scratch that itch. So many people on that group trying to ‘compile’, very cool that you guys pulled this off.
Peter was editing this for weeks leading up to our Japan trip. It was a marathon til the day before our trip.
Thanks so much ☺️
OMG thank you so much for doing this! I was never able to go and experience this awesome attraction. It was on my bucket list!!
I’m so sad you weren’t able to but glad we were able to capture this experience and share it
My husband and I were waiting until our finances were in a better spot and our son was a little older to go, we’d been looking forward to it ever since it opened.
Remember you don’t have to vlog theme parks, you can vlog any of your interests
@@OrdinaryAdventuresoh I know! But theme parks has always been what’s interested me the most and I LOVE Disney and whole lot! Also would love to one day just be able to drop it all and travel places by car but my ultimate goal is theme parks especially Disney :)
If anyone was going to document the complete story of this it’d be you guys! Can’t wait to sit down and watch the entire episode..love all of your videos!
Thanks for watching it
Kitra and Peter, thank you for sharing your Adventures on the Starcruiser. May the Force be you always.
Same to you!
The actor who plays Raithe was so good
@OrdinaryAdventures He was excellent and so funny!
Thank you so much ☺️
Seeing you move that rock made me emotional, great job harnessing your power's on the very last adventure, now you can use them to explore.
Thank you
Perfect day for this to come out. It's snowing in Denver so I'm staying home. I'm just waiting for some Disney parks fans to show up out here and say that snow doesn't go with Halloween. 🤣
Ha
Thank you for putting all of this together for us. I am so sad that they outpriced themselves. But now we get to experience this through all of your hard work. Thank you again for all you do
🙏
Thank you for watching the whole thing. I wish you could have gone and experienced it for yourself. ❤️
😢😢😢 wow! thanks for all of the hard work to put this together. I loved it all but my favorite part was the final goodbyes. The cast and crew were truly amazing. Thank you for sharing that special moment. May the stars light your way.
The end had me crying a couple times during editing
Thank you for this. This is something we can all come back to and watch over and over again
🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Glad you enjoyed it!
The commitment from the actors really shines through in video. Thanks for capturing this and sharing it with us!
Our pleasure!
Thank you so much
You guys! I’m already crying. Thank you for doing this! You, your thoughtfulness and caring, are truly the best!!!
You are so kind
@@OrdinaryAdventures ❤️
Thank you so much for this video. What a beautiful tribute. My husband and I were on the May 3-5 voyage with you guys.
❤️
That was phenomenal! Thank you so much for putting this video together, I watched the entire thing. I’m not sure what’s next for the Galactic Starcruiser, but we were the lucky ones that experienced it the way Imagineers dreamed it up. You two are awesome ❤
Thanks so much Hank
❤️ thanks for watching and reliving the memories with us
Peter and Kitra, thank you so much for this compilation video; it was clearly a labor of love.
For sure, a lot of it was 10x better in person. I wish everyone could have experienced it
Super cool video, must have taken several hours to make. Thanks for doing this!
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for putting this together! My husband was part of the imagineering team, and was one of the few to enjoy the maiden voyage's muster. And lucky for us you captured him in the back ground so we get a have this happy little souvenir :)
Tell him there are many people who loved this place. He created something special.
@@OrdinaryAdventures Oh he knows, and he is so proud of that project! One of the best experiences they ever made.
❤️
Thank you for sharing this last look at the Starcruiser. So much imagination and work was put into this guest experience, it's a shame it didn't last.
Agreed.
Wow! Just wow. Such an amazing video and what hard work you put into getting this all edited together! Excellent work and thanks for bringing us along again especially not being able to experience this any other way! You both rock!
Thanks Logan
I could really tell how special and important the starcruiser was to you guys based on this video- it was like watching your ‘farewell love letter’ to the starcruiser…again, I’m glad you got to experience this and thank you for sharing this with us as well~ 🥰
Calling it a farewell love letter is such a great compliment. Thank you
@@OrdinaryAdventuresif this isn't the perfect farewell letter to the Galactic Starcruiser, then it doesn't exist.
What an amazing compilation video. Really makes me a little sad that I never got to experience the Halcyon first hand. Thanks for putting this together.
Glad you enjoyed it! 🩷
I'm so glad I had the opportunity to go and experience it in person but your coverage is great for those who weren't able to. May the spires keep you.
I’m glad you got there!
AWESOME JOB PETER!! You did an AMAZING job capturing the experience. I'm bummed my husband and I didn't get a chance to experience this so your video means so much more! I hope Disney revives the Halcyon in some way in the near future! Thanks Again for your hard work!!!
Thanks so much. Wish you guys could have experienced it in person
2 hr in,
Lt. Croy is a delight
Everything looks emaculate
The little side story with the rocks and the force was simply magnificant
How you put this together was incredible and I'm hoping back on tomorrow to finish the other half of the story!
Thanks so much for watching ☺️
@@OrdinaryAdventures Well, like many I didn't get to make it out there, so this gift you have crafted to share the amazing work of the cast and crew is incredible. I finally got around to finishing the last two hours and it was great. The fight between Rey and Kylo was incredible. It was such a great story. Thank you!
I've watched this, 3 times now and it's still entertaining!!... Thank you so much for making this
Glad you enjoyed it!
Just watched the whole thing…. Why am I crying?👏❤️. Well done. Thanks for the journey and the adventure- it was not ordinary, turns out it was really special. 👏👏👏👏👏
😭 thank you
Thank you so much for your hard work. I love that you were able to go multiple times and have different experiences! The smuggler storyline seemed so fun, that was a great Ray Cole! 👏👏 I loved Lieutenant Kroy the best, so many laughs! I'm sad I won't get to experience this in person but grateful for your videos ❤
That Croy actor was the best but all the actors on the ship were incredible. This last trip Raithe stole the show for us
Thank you for this today. A 4 hour video is the exact amount of time to get me through my dialysis treatment this afternoon. Unfortunately, I go 4 days a week and often find myself going stir crazy.
Sending out ❤️
This adventure truly was beautiful ❤️ thank you both for the time and effort that went into this and also the crew who made this experience so memorable. Only wish that it had stood the test of time because I feel in time Disney would have adapted the experience and brought new life to it
I hope so 🤞
this video was amazing, I'm so glad I got to experience it through you both.
Thanks so much for watching
What a treasure to have a CM make up a song about Ordinary Adventures. I know you will remember that forever! ❤
All the castmembers on that ship were the best Disney ever had
Thank you so much for this. It was a privilege to share the penultimate journey with you, and these memories are small treasures that will grow and flourish in all our hearts. Mist sends his regards and hope we all continually get to live out our dreams; the Halcyon may be drydocked, but our adventures have just begun! Thanks again.
❤️
Here from Shane and Ryland!! Love your videos already!
Yay welcome 🤗
I came across the channel/followed after seeing your first videos on Galactic Starcruiser back in '21! Sad I won't be able to save up and experience this myself now, but thank you so much for sharing your experience(s)! Especially in such a well edited/structured video :)
I wish you could have experienced it!
Thank you both for putting this together! I am such a Star Wars fan but couldn’t afford to make it out there, this is perfect
Hope you enjoy it
This is genuinely a filmic achievement, super cool documentary, thank you both so much! xx
Thank you so much
a 4 hour Ordinary Adventures video?? Let me just get some snacks
🙌
The way you have pieced this together is amazing. You both truly looked like you had a ball. The cast were fantastic, to keep their places, interact with all ages and remember so many of you. They really were the ones who made it special. I hope they found work elsewhere. Hopefully Disney will find a cheaper way to make something like this happen again.
Thank you so much!!
I teared up multiple times during this, I can only imagine what it was like actually being in the place, we lost a very special experience but thank you two so much for all the work you put into preserving it forever, this was a beautiful experience you shared with all of us.
Thank you so much
This was the absolute best!!! Love love love the length and detail in this video. Thank you I-love so many of the characters that you meet and they seem so familiar now.
Thank you for taking us along on this not so ordinary adventure!
You're so welcome! And thank you for watching ☺️
I hope so too!
Ha thanks. This is honestly the shortest I could edit this
This was such an amazing and magical experience, and I regret I could only do it once... thanks so much for posting this compilation. There is only so much of this story that anyone could see in a single trip, and I'm very grateful for this chance to peek into some of the corners I missed! (although I'm IN some of the other corners in your video too, and it's been delightful to relive those moments)
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you for the wonderful edit of all of your experiences! This was an amazing idea that just never found it's footing, but will live on with videos like these! Thank you for sharing it with those of us who never got the chance to go. 🤗
You're so welcome!
Thank you so much for doing this!! ❤❤❤ This was my dream experience, I wanted to bring my mom, she’s the reason I’m a Star Wars fan 🥹. I’ve already watched this and love it so much❤!! If I had the chance to experience this I would have gotten emotional like Kitra, at all the same places, so this video really helped me truly feel what it would have been like. Thank you SO much for that 🙏🏼. I’m going to watch this with my Mom so we can experience it together like I dreamed ❤.
I’m always sad when your videos end 😔. I always tell my boyfriend, “no! I’m sad it ended!”
Thank you both so much for sharing your experience’s with us ❤️.
I wish you could have experienced this yourself but glad we could share our version of it with you
Had to re-watch just for the song at 42:48! Love yall
🙌
I was scrolling for Hellas just to find a comment mentioning the song 😭
Alright lady, I’m jumping in😊 Thanks for recording this for posterity, many of us never had the opportunity to experience this❤ I really think Disney had an innovative and super creative concept here, it may just be better applied ina different way, like on a cruise or something in a shorter format. Either way special experience ❤🎉😊
👍
Wow! What a long video! Thank you Peter & Kitra for the work on this one, I saw both of your posts on Twitter and I’m ready for this emotional ride 🥲
Hope you enjoy it!
I was so happy to do this ! it was the best expirence i have ever had
🙌
I didn't realize this was four hours long, im halfway through and enjoying all of it
Best compliment!! ❤️
🙌 thanks for watching
This is wonderful, guys! Thanks so much for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you so much for posting this. I had time to spend the afternoon with this video and was blown away by the ending...tears! Miss it so much but so glad you included it. May the stars light your way.
Glad you enjoyed it!
i love ordinary adventures the dedication and love to your subscribers bleeds through your videos i can not wait to enjoy the experience through your eyes
❤️ thank you
Thank you sooo much for making this video. I been a star wars fan from I was 2 years old (1981) I wasn't able to afford to go on the star cruiser when my family and I were Disney world due to the coast of travelling from N.Ireland. But thanks to you both through this video I feel like I was able to go on it.
I hope Disney create a star wars themed holiday someday.
Thanks for watching Graham
Omg! Yay I have something fun to watch! 😊thank you for posting Kitra and Peter!
😁
You two did a really good job capturing small private moments and camera angles with the stormtroopers! Thank you! 1:19:15 1:05:26 1:07:14 love the camera placement of the stormtroopers watching the dancers!
Thank you ☺️
God bless you guys for posting this; as many people will never be able to experience what the Starcruiser offered. Thank you.
Our pleasure!
😭 Thank you for allowing me to relive this phenomenal experience!!! ❤
Our pleasure!
I’m so glad you guys documented this awesome experience. I couldn’t afford it and now it’s going away so I’m really happy for the in depth video. It’s really an amazing place
Happy to share the experience with you
i'm quite sad i'll never get to go, but i'm so so happy y'all made these videos and compiled this one because WOW this was amazing
🙌 thanks for watching
