Wow, what an incredible adventure you're having, Phil! The beautiful landscapes you're exploring along the St.Cuthberts Way are absolutely stunning. I couldn't help but smile when you encountered those curious cows. It's amazing how nature can bring out the best in us and make us appreciate the simple things. Enjoy every step of the way!
The cow tutorial was really good mate. I'm fairly confident around them but do get occasional doubts. You cleared up some points there 👍🏻 What a stunning route you're on, and the weather looked great. Making some epic life choices there buddy! Keep it up 👍🏻😎
Wow Phil. I envy you having the opporunity to take a running holiday and follow the St Cuthbert's Way. Scenery looks a bit different to the Fens.Your method of dealing with cattle is eminently sensible, I use the same approach and haven't had any problems. Always a bit more wary when they have calves. Compression sleeves are a good idea to reduce stings etc, and in my case to help the old varicose veins. Glad I am not the only one who gets lost following a well-signposted way. On to video 2 now.
It took a bit of planning but I actually quite enjoy that part as well as the running! I have always enjoyed multi-day walking, so why not chuck some running in there too eh! Thanks for taking a look mate.
Just MAGICAL!!! I spent the entire spring and summer this year also off on wonderful running adventures myself, it's such an awesome way to see the country where you live, some of the best things I've ever done!! Now we're in the depths of December and it's dark and cold and pouring rain outside and I'm dreading heading out for local club trail training tonight in about 20min, I can't help but wonder what those lovely trails on the St.Cuthbert's Way are like right now ... it would be another kind of adventure this time of year, but I bet it would still be beautiful in it's own way too!! Curious what you get up to next Phil!!
Yes I'm struggling to get out that door at the moment I must admit Bev! I have some incredible plans for next year. Watch out for details soon on the channel :)
@@trailrunningphil I can't believe it, the rain stopped just as I was about to head out and we had an awesome training session after all!!😌 Looking forward to hearing what you've got planned for next year!! 🙋🏻♀
Superb stuff Phil! Some stunning scenes mate! That was a wicked rope bridge too. Very wise not to run over that 🤣👍 Looking forward to the rest of the adventure mate. 😎🤘
Magical area, Phil. Great to be watching you again. Those big leaves is a type of burdock, the leaves can be rounded shapes too. We have loads of the in Russia (лопухи). Maybe there was similar environment for the towards Scotland too. I loved that suspended wooden bridge. Good idea to be dropped off and then picked up by your wife to explore part of St Cuthbert Way.
Hi Olga! Lovely to hear from you :) I did manage to make it all the way to the end so more lovely scenery is coming up in future videos. I hope you and your lovely daughter are keeping well! :)
Great video Phil, love this kind of adventure running and what an amazing route too, I need to get up north onto the St Cuthbert's Way at some point!
