1. Doesn't it record the UI of the camcorder? Like date and stuff? That's a problem if so... 2. Did you get to compare a tape to the capture by the PowerPlay? I wonder if it feels too digitized or if it's comparable to the normal tape capturing. Because maybe the magic happens there and the PowerPlay bypasses that and drops some aesthetics. Maybe it oversharpens thing...etc...
I do not think the unit gives that option. Yes is it digital, like the camera.. only records to mini sd. Overall it looks best on a small screen is the conclusion your trying to reach here?
@@Jonathangrantbailey Bottom line, we're trying to convert an [about] 560 pixel tall video to about 1920. Let's say, for social media you'd have to blow this video up between x2 and x3 times more than it's original recorded size. So, I wonder : 1. Which method is best to blow it up? 2. But also, what are we blowing up here? As, I noticed the soft VHS / miniDV look could be blown up very nicely. I was worried this PowerPlay might digitize the look too much and oversharpen- which will influence the character of the VHS/mini-DV look. 3. Also, was worried if a camera doesn't let you turn off all of the UI menu, then you're stuck with it being burnt into the final capture of the PowerPlay
It records analog playack, watch the video again.. Basically only need the unit and an RCA to analog cable, so no, UI doesn't show in playback.@@eladbari
Do you know if I can record videos with the FS-4 or FS-100 on a camera that has a broken head drum? I have a vx2000 that can't record on tapes... I want to buy a fs-4 to see if it works
I have clearclick version 2 on my vx2000 for tapeless and I have this problem where after like ten minuets of filming my camera goes into demo mode, do you know how I can turn this off and do u have this issue too

Hey, how can i transfer already used cassettes to the sd card using immersion?
seems like it'd be worth it to get something that utilizes S-video to get the very most out of your capture

I have not heard of that model. If you have a camera that powers on, and the correct adapter cords I suppose any of them work.
Surely you can record it with that device,if not try Sony HVR-MRC1 or DR60
where to buy bro??
Does your camera stay powered on without a tape in it? My cameras seem to turn off after four minutes due to inactivity.
where did u find that cable for the immersionrc to the vx?
I tried a few before one of them was up to my standard, GL
just bought 1 off ebay pray 4 me
what was the result?
I can’t get a clear video on my immersion rc
Shoot. The RCA cables usually the weak point, otherwise keep trying to nail those settings.

Yo! Thanks for commenting. Looks cool imo. you can always go back to tapes?
What is the exact name of the brand and the exact model of tapeless digital device please? Thanks in advance.
