You need to install a voltage regulator/rectifier. At the moment you're running unregulated AC voltage to the light. You'll end up blowing the light and cooking the coil. Especially if you connect both coils. A regulator/rectifier costs about $10 on eBay. Get the 5 pin plug (5 wire) one so you can connect both coils to it.

Other than the cause that you can order online for the 212 predator engine is there any other motor that you can adapt over or coils that you can adapt from another motor to the 212 that's a question I need cuz I'm real low on cash
Oh my goodness all you had to do was loosen the bolts and drive the governor arm down and out , same with the gear all you had to do is drive the governor gear shaft in from the other side and the governor gear will drop down. remove them and the washers and put two bolts in the the remaining holes.
Its crazy how much power a non governed one of these engines is...got one of those nitrous kits im gonna toss onto my cammed, non governed 22mm Mikuni 212...What size are those 8mm bolts that hold the charging coil to the block? 1.5in or 2in, or bigger? Nice work...love the video..
I believe I used a crank bolt to match the threads and I took a tape measure to the coil thickness and added 3/8", then found a bolt that was as close to that length as I could. I don't have the exact specs on hand I apologize. THANK YOU FOR THE LOVE!!!!
I actually uses a ball joint fork behind it and tapped it to wedge it in then I tapped the flywheel. Be patient, to tap too hard, can damage stuff if your too aggressive.

Yes, you can run it without a battery and the break light will work off of it alone, I suspect that if you hook it to a battery you would need something between it and the magneto to cap the voltage so it doesn't over charge it.

@@Rep361Texas we tore the engine I bought rebuilt the other day bro everything was correct that they mentioned but they put a old timing chain on the m.f. so I replaced that. Jus waiting on the mechanic or Christmas to come one or the two now.....
We have a couple bike on nos.. it's really not too hard to tune, just need to get the correct nos bottles and they are not the ones from Walmart for the co2 guns

@@08cobra92 yes, and I got the smallest outdoor 30amp toggle o could find I took the led pod apart and found a spot it would clear own the inside, took a little dremal work but it all fit nicely, I'll try to get an update video soon
@@Rep361Texas it did.. never knew u could do that to a 212 honestly. I just prefer the 196 cuz it comes with it already and I feel they are more reliable then a predator motor. All I've had on mine were honda 196s just so I can wire lights for night rides

@@Rep361Texas Probably because you're using an LED light. Most LEDs wil handle 6-36v. A halogen light would have blown.

When you removes the flywheel does it hold up okay to the high rpm. I thought about removing it on mine and it has the charging coil system.
Not sure actually, I removed the oem ram flywheel just to put the charging one on, I havent ran one without a flywheel

You have to get the coil and flywheel combo, the stock flywheel wont clear the coils and doesn't have the magneto for them.
