I have plenty of spray paint but I was hoping for a nice candy shell powder coating like is on the original covers. Spill fuel on spray paint and you know what happens....
I've had good luck with my local powder coating places. I clean it all up, scuff the gloss off, hit it with brake cleaner and then just walk in there with it. They'll usually throw it in with whatever they're doing. There's PSP Powdercoating in St Helens.
It would be nice to actually see how and where the new parts went, and if it's charging more than the lights use, all the best to yous and your loved ones
When I get some time I'll check our your other videos on this bike. It looks like it has a lot of stuff I'd be interested in since I run a very similar frame. And thanks for the links to the parts. My Coleman RB200 likely has the same rectifier, since Coleman bought so much from Monster Moto or at least stole their ideas? when they went under. I really wish they'd bought the front brake setup from Monster because those parts have dried up, and I know the front forks and all the rest would just swap over to mine. The RB200 and similar Mossimo-branded clones of the RB200 come with two standard 3A charging coils on its OEM Lifan engine. I'm sure the extra 4A would be welcome, but I'm less sure about spending the money for those coils (and, I don't have a battery that needs recharging.)
Got a question just purchased a Tillotson 212 electric start start , according to gopowersports the flywheel only has one charge magnet, supposedly the Honda twin coils require three , please clarify this for me as the coils are about $100 non refundable? Thanks in advance
Sorry but the coils themselves are not rated at 50hz. The rectifier is what you are having and issue with and a standard 4 pin is what you need for a dual coil.
Hello from the Netherlands .
thanks for the video .
Sincerely, Hollandduck
Just a thought there's always paint if you can't find a black cover then you could make it any color you want hopefully it's metal.

I am liking this idea. I will keep searching but that may be the route to go.
Agreed. These sorts of little projects they probably welcome.

In my adventure series I do reviews of the mods I have made...that will be coming up soon...
Paint your existing cover! 😎
Bike sold years ago and is probably in a landfill by now.

The coleman rb200 was what lead me to this monster moto build. I created a playlist for this build so you can watch the episodes in order....
Would I need a new rectifier/regulator if I swap out the 3 amp coils for two of these?
I covered that in the build series playlist. Thanks for tuning in.
Yup, I would paint.
Can the charging coil be tested separately
Now that it’s been a year how has the charging been doing
You would have to ask the new owner. Sold over a year ago.
The link is not available anymore
Do you have the parts # so I can order ?
Thanks
Link works fine. I just confirmed it. Alternatively the part number is in the video.
How many magnets were on the inside of the flywheel?
IIRC one.
How did you get for the mini bike when you sold it? If you don’t mind sharing.
You may want to edit your post.

If you watch the video your question will be answered. All of my content is free.
Hi , can you recommend a easy hook up rectifier 12v . Cheers
Anything off amazon I would assume.
Did you oil that lookalike air filter?
Bike sold long ago.
Rustoleum gloss black... lol
Scuff and paint...
Powder coat that one
Sold over a year ago
It’s called a spray can of black lacquer paint and a few minutes of your time. You’re welcome.
Trolls get banned....

This bike is probably in the junkyard by now as it was sold years ago....
Why do you assume it’s probably in the junkyard by now? Are you the only person able to repair such a machine when it goes down?
