i love how their argument completely subverts the miscommunication trope. stolas said everything he wanted to say. but blitz's self hatred is so ingrained that he just can't comprehend that stolas has feelings for him.
It also shows that Stolas doesn't actually understand Blitz as much as he thought he did. Stolas comes to the conclusion that Blitz is just selfish and only wanting to keep the "transactional business" going for the book. He doesn't realize that Blitz is actually showing some genuine love for him, but is also trying to hide his feelings from himself. Blitz doesn't want to feel vulnerable and weak, so he pushes his feelings for Stolas aside as nothing more than wanting to be a bone buddy for him.... and Blitz's own low self-esteem and self-hatred ends up stopping him from realizing that Stolas genuinely cares for him.
@@the_furry_inside_your_walls639 He does understand him I think, but just because Blitz has troubles with himself doesn't excuse his behavior. Stolas has been taking his shit for a long time, and the fact that Blitz can't take anything seriously isn't Stolas's fault. He was completely right to do this, until Blitz has his shit together, he isn't ready for a real relationship.
@@Mediados Stolas isn't blameless in this situation. He constructs these grand narrative emotional bombs and then mopes when things don't go exactly as he envisioned, not to mention the whole savior complex.
That was definitely a surprise. After the Mamon and rescue episodes, Fizz has definitely repaired that burned bridge with Blitz, and seeing him all smiles while talking with his brother again is such a wonderful sight
That was great, but also seeing IMP tail Blitz to make sure his night goes well was excellent too. Plus seeing Loona barely hesitate to save the coworkers she claims she hates. Plenty of wholesome this episode.
I would like to point out that when Stolas gave Blitz the Gem, his reaction wasnt "Ok thank you see ya never", it was "Why are you giving me this? I can do better for you." Even after being told what the gem does, Blitz doesnt want to end the relationship with Stolas. But he has no idea how to express that
It was really heartbreaking. I just want my boys to be happy. Blitz was so unready for this, and Stolas wasn't in the place to be able to take even a moment of perceived rejection. Really really sad
I know!!! And the the only reason he lashed out I think is because of the shock. He probably still can't actually understand that someone could actually be in love with him and after all the times higher up people treated him like crap, probably set flashbacks to them.
@angelsinthewindow my dude needs to have a heart to heart with Fizz and Ozzie, that'll help give him perspective I think. Especially since technically Blitz is now under the employ of Ozzie, so there is a precedence for them to talk
Glad someone brought that up. Stolas said, "You are free of me." And rather than be happy it immediately stopped being about the book.and more Blitz's perceived vision. These two need to get M&M together with them next time they chat so they have some filters to keep them grounded.
I LOVE how it ends with absolutely NO music. The deafening silence after the weight of what just happened hit so hard. The creators of this series are SO good at this...
I really wish this show had a theme song, because then in the credits of this episode they could of put a much sadder version of it, like how Gravity Falls changes its theme song
DUDE STOLAS' VOICE WHEN HE SAID "Blitzø I think so highly of you... I didn't realize you think so low of me." holy hell the voice acting was PHENOMENAL, obviously the voice acting before that scene with Blitzø yelling was just as phenomenal nothing can beat a broken and sad voice like that holy...
I want to be a voice actor so I can do this kinda stuff and not show my face in dramatic scenes but I still get scared.........but I'd most likely come back and take inspo for most my acting from HB if I do become one
@@AceTheCat518I wish you luck in your journey ❤ Never give up, always improve, you'll get there. And if you end up famous, ignore people who say otherwise, ok?
Love how Blitz and Fizz's relationship has mended. Blitz called his friend, essentially said "I need some extra kinky shit to give Stolas a new experience so he doesn't get bored" and Fizz just went "I got you"
i wish as a friend he and ozzy gave them more relationship "tipps" to get over those misunderstandings that happen permanently. you know like talking things out but it´s hard if you don´t know how to communicate correctly your feelings bc they never matter to anyone in your life. stolas told blitz several times he want to spend more time with him (in a normal way not segs related)...and blitz can´t believe that there is someone interested in him seeing this as a trap to betray him in the end. sadly, it´s so much easier to push people away than let them come close to your vulnerable and soft self.
@@DraconiInfernalusfizz tried to help Blitz with his relationship with Stolas when they got kidnapped. Not too deep but he was trying to make Blitz understand that Stolas really cares, because his actions show so, still Blitz was just ignoring all of it 😅 he won't see it
@@DraconiInfernalus I mean, the last time Blitzø care about people that loved him back, they got hurt because of him. He's the main reason his mom is dead, for example, in his head. Same way Fizz nearly died. Blitzø's self hatred is so deep that he cannot fathom someone could love him anymore and even if he does, he won't speak it into reali because he thinks everyone who loves him gets hurt because of him. That's why he's only truly affectionate with people like IMP, who react aggressively to his affections.
@@HannahChan2010 Agreed! In episode seven of season one, I hated them both because I got the impression that they were just arrogant and horny freaks, absolute ass holes, which I guess is partly the point of the episode. But as soon as I saw episode six season two, where you see more into their relationship and also see why Fizz is the way he is and see his and Blitz’s relationship start to heal, he quickly became one of my favorite characters and Asmo X Fizz became my favorite existing relationship (Blitz X Stolas is still my favorite ship, still holding out some hope for them! ❤)!
blitz pretending it's a joke because he wouldn't think anyone could love him, then stolas taking that as blitz not having feelings back AHHHH i'm sobbing
Acid trip moxie kind of summed it up pretty well. He craves love, closeness and yet fears it all the same because he also fears rejection. Stolas and Blitzø arrangement is not healthy but it is one that he can find structure in, which was represented by the binding in that same scene. Credit to vizie that whole bit really summed up his psyche beautifully
I love how Stolas is seen almost always sitting, bowing or hunching over with Blitz, at least in private settings, it shows how he’s trying to be at the same level as Blitz, as a equal, but when Blitz misunderstands Stolas and lashes out, he goes back to an almost statue-like figure, rigid and stoic, even when he cries, he’s facing away from Blitz, as he is now afraid to be vulnerable.
Beautifully said. I saw another commenter point out that Stolas takes off his crown when being vulnerable and at Blitzø’s level, but puts it back on when he starts walking down the hallway. There are so many small details that reflect both characters and their inner conflicts and thoughts in this scene. I could literally go frame-by-frame plucking out the details.
This is also why I fully disagreed with comments saying that Stolas was open. He was, until he completely shut down on listening. He thought he knew Blitz's feelings and thus saw his outburst out emotion as hatred. He didn't even listen to how much Blitz was talking about Stolas' title, of his kind, rather than on him. How dejected Blitz was, how much he was clinging to the contract, as he felt thrown away like he wasn't good enough. He never even truly said to Blitz that he just wanted him, he said for him to stay by his side, "if he wants to". I'm sorry, I understand it was said in a loving manner, I think for anyone else that'd have been an immediate yes...but if you want to does not sound good. It sounds like a could take it or leave it. Blitz didn't process anything well, and Stolas was not understanding nor open. He was afraid of vulnerability, and he was afraid both to get hurt but also to deal with Blitz's. He went in with an outcome in mind, and then resided himself when he thought he had it.
Notice how the paintings are covered to show only Octavia. Stolas is just trying to get rid of all the negativity in his life and covers everything that reminds him of his past self and marriage. Then Blitz starting to chase him screaming in rage is too similar to how Stella used to chase him around yelling with him. I think partly Stolas made Blitz leave so fast because of that.
Brandon and Bryce absolutely devoured this episode. Bryce is incredible at making his voice crack at the PERFECT times when Stolas is stressed and desperately trying to hide it, and obviously Brandon’s frantic aggression was spot-on but what broke my heart was Blitzo’s “Because I can always-I-I can always do better!” This is one of those episodes that hurts more and more upon each rewatch
100% the voice acting remains stellar. We get emotional depth, intensity, range, and raw power in both of them. The cast is pulling their weight every episode.
The way Blitzø says "I will do anything", he's not just referring to losing his job, he knows that losing the book is losing him, he's very afraid of abandonment because of his past relationships, he sounds very desperate and pleading, it's like "I can change, but don't go"
You are so right!! It’s more sad looking at it cause it happens a lot to people who have bad attachment issues and past experiences that still hurts them. To be honest I can relate to that myself a bit even though it was me hurting my friends and friends cause of my own self sabotaging but I’m glad I learned from it but this episode was heartbreaking.
“I can do better” ..the way that Blitzø said it.. it was like a child trying to find approval from his parents.. and it’s very painful to hear because it’s his PTSD.. he went through that He thinks that he has to do better.. and it’s painful
1:06 I love how Blitzø has marked on his calendar “Millie Party” “Moxxie Day” “Call Fizz” and “Daddy Daughter Day!” It shows he’s intentional about spending time with the people he loves, even if he doesn’t think of it that way.
also in all the pictures hung up on the walls, Blitzø has himself scribbled out. In Stolas’ house, all the pictures are covered except the parts that show Octavia 😢
@@wryn.is.trying I guess earlier in the first Adult Stolas X Blitzo scene. Blitzo was just glaring at the Stolas X Stella stuff. So covering her up makes sense. No idea if covering himself up is trying to be honest or clue in he needs to think about what's good for her too. Or maybe it could be more messed up and Stolas could be focusing on pictures of his daughter not for blitz. But to keep him from sending Stella to a shadow realm and being done with it. Not for his sake, but her's. or at least to avoid childhood drama having a parent eliminate another. Bad relationships can definitely escalate into a corner though. I still don't see why he couldn't just teleport stella to a hawaian bird refuge and then let someone else figure it out. It's not like teleporting someone would be harmful and if he just teleported her somewhere she had no way how to get back from, it'd probably eliminate some things. Hell, teleport stella into a therapist / couples therapy / Boy band concert, idk. Your guess is as good as mine. Censoring stella's head makes sense, himself might be a ego thing. But everyone but his daughter seems kinda semi concerningly ????.
Am I the only one who doesn't understand why all of this has to occur in hell? Like none of these characters are going to be happy as long as they live there. At least hazbin hotel has the plot of getting into heaven for a better life and saving souls. I think ....
@Notyouraveragename Stolas covering the portraits is for a similar reason Blitzø does: internalized self-hatred. Stolas has depression issues and constantly feels like he's not 'enough.' Even in the beginning song he states that any of his 'derring-do' personality is half a disguise, and his internal voice tells him that he's not good enough for Blitzø. While Blitzø's self-loathing is more obvious and outright at times, Stolas' is the kind that causes him to mask around others and crumble on his own, where no one can see. That comes from the lifetime of domestic abuse and people shutting down his emotions as obnoxious or ugly. That's also why he walked away as soon as Blitzø turned the crystal thing into a roleplay game. He felt his feelings were being mocked as ridiculous again and likely felt another breakdown coming on, which he's learned he can't do around others, or he'll get picked on worse. He does not love himself, and especially the 'old self' that lived miserably with Stella, which he likely sees in all the family portraits. He doesn't cover up Via because he loves her, and she's basically the only thing in his life he's proud of. As to why he didn't do something with Stella earlier: 1. He is a passive personality who seems to prefer to be led by someone else. He caves into demands easily. It's not uncommon for someone who is physically stronger to be abused by a SO who is more domineering, and honestly kudos to the show for tackling that. 2. He wanted Via to grow up with a "normal" life, which to him seems to have meant a family together. His father is mostly absentee and can't be bothered to remember his name. We still don't know where his mother is (if she's alive), but it looks like he has no relationship with her, either. He was so desperate for her to grow up without the emotional isolation he experienced that he's just made a different type of mess.
The fact Stolas was speaking so quick while handing over the crystal and explaining how it works, makes you think he was about to cry or that he just wanted the hard part to be over so quick..the whole voice acting and small but very crucial details put into this show. Truly an emotional roller coaster indeed.
That was definitely anxiety and a bit of desperation; he'd clearly been mulling over the "best" way to word things for a while, and he wanted to get it all out before Blitzø had time to cut in and miss the context of what he was trying to say. Especially once Blitzø got upset at the thought of losing the book: Stolas was trying to assuage his fears about losing access to it and emphasize that he wanted Blitzø be able to do his work without being tied to it.
OH I DIDNT NOTICE THAT OMG that just adds so much more depth and respect and stolas is such an incredibly written character i cannot believe the attention to detail has been so perfect omg OMG AHHHHH YES OMG
It's clear from the beginning song that Stolas was afraid that, if things went south, it would be because he'd trapped Blitzø in a situation he didn't like. Blitzø laying into him about being treated like a servant and thrown away confirmed that his worst fears were right. He was a monster who'd bred resentment in someone he cares for. Despite being upset at Blitzø's reactions, he's doesn't want to throw blame at Blitzø over it.
Did anyone else notice that throughout the whole episode Stolas just called him Blitz. No blitzy whatsover. He knew that it was time to be serious and he wanted to show how much he not only cares for Blitz but respected him too.
It really shows how Stolas has changed but Blitz hasn’t been able to see it, what with him not seeing him for months and referring to himself as “Blitzy” when impersonating Stolas
He's been doing that since the end of the disastrous "date" at Ozzie's. He slips up once in Western Energy (maybe there are other points that I've missed too), but that's literally when he's been tied up by Striker and is mid-kidnapping, so he wasn't exactly thinking 100% clear. Otherwise he's only been using "Blitzy" when Blitzø isn't around to hear it. It's definitely an affectionate nickname at this point, but he's realized that Blitzø views it as being trivialized. So he's intentionally avoided it in his presence as a sign of respect.
And notice that Blitz just doesn't understand why. He can't comprehend the idea that someone like Stolas could truly care about him... painfully familiar... But he definitely noticed Stolas doing that, and it scared the crap out of him.
21:37 gotta love how blitz talks similarly to striker back in western energy about royals thinking people below them arent as important. poetry in motion, everyone.
Initially I was afraid Stolas wouldn't get his point across, but seeing him speak so clearly and concisely, no room for misinterpretation, and YET it still doesn't work, because Blitz doesn't understand why someone would love him, is great writing
Stolas really went about it wrong still, even if he was clear and concise. He kinda just dumped it all on Blitz, gave him no chance to think about it, and then dismissed him exactly how Blitz says royals always do. It needed to be more of an open discussion rather than Stolas controlling the entire conversation. That's just Stolas's flaw tho, so the character flaws clashing and resulting in such a disaster is great writing
Stolas literally made him think he was breaking up with him or ruin his career (both things very dear to blitzø), he did not speak cleary. he communicated his feelings, but not where he wants to take their relationship or about their situations. He had control over their conversation, but decided to leave it be at the end (which ist also understandable, but it did not help blitzø after he processed everything and then wanted to talk)
blitzø trying to provoke stolas into a verbal or physical confrontation -because that’s all he knows- just to be met with stolas’s repeated genuine emotional sincerity was heartbreaking and so character-consistent
@@marzgamingmaster That scene made me cry so much I can't believe how Blitzø is such an idiot not realizing sooner that Stolas cares about him and yet he wanted to provoke him only to make it worse and Stolas telling him that he thinks about him highly but didn't know Blitzø thinks him so low I can't man that was too emotional 😭😭😭
You know, I've seen people complain that Stolas said he was going to give Blitz the choice only to proceed to not give Blitz the choice or the chance to respond once Blitz realized that Stolas was serious about his feelings. But like, can you blame the guy for not wanting to continue talking about it? He poured his heart out and Blitz treated it like a joke. He's understandably crushed at that moment. But also, they've each got their own problems to get through before they could ever be a real couple, so it was never going to be as easy to start a real relationship as Stolas wants it to be. Phenomenal performance from Brandon and Bryce.
But Stolas had also set up the deal purely for sex. So it's also natural for Blitz to have played it off as something roleplay. Stolas hadn't really given Blitz much if any reason to believe he actually had feelings. Vague hints at best.
I love that they managed to do this without falling into the trope of "character is too vague and gets misinterpreted" stolas is so clear, so careful with his words, but blitz cant believe someone would really love him
Very true, but to be fair, Stolas could've started off by just giving Blitz the Asmodean Crystal instead of immediately asking for his book back and saying that he'll be keeping it for good. Starting off their conversation by putting Blitz into a panic didn't do either of them any favors.
the writers are amazing. i relate to blitz a lot as far as his flaws, as well as a lot of the characters. also they handled childhood and how kids evolve into adults really well with fizz and blitz
@@IanPendleton-gh6oxbut remember that stolas wasn't on his antidepressants so his mental state was not the best so he wanted to get through the situation quickly
@@epicnightmare5600 True, but the only reason they ran out was because Stolas didn't plan ahead. He knew it was going to be a big night, so making sure he had his meds was paramount, but Stolas was apparently so busy prepping for the night that he neglected to get his medicine, which was the start of everything going as wrong as it did as fast as it did.
@@IanPendleton-gh6ox I think Stolas wanted to test it on purpose to know if it was real before committing. A lot of viewers probably have a short term perspective on things. Some very screwed up behind closed doors relationships are kept afloat just for pictures people see once a year while children scream and cry themselves to sleep every night. "We need to look good for the picture" they say, as they hit their children for not posing for the photo or smiling "right". Would you rather value geniuneness, even if it was a geniune frown, over a fake, but seemingly pleasant picture perfect family christmas photo. That you only looked at once per 4 seconds a year? It sounds like a exaggeration. But i get the feeling if Stolas just wanted sex he would have just spread his legs and let Blitzo take him. He wanted to know if it was real, or maybe he was using Blitzo on a whim after his Failing arranged marriage only made to forcibly produce a heir/kid. Either way, been there, done that. I'd rather know from the first day if the next year will be a waste of my time than spend the year guessing. I'd rather have the honest package than the mlm. It sounds shallow but i tried on so many fake relationships that went no where. I found one real one, and it's better than the 1000s of fake "ones" i ever had. Fake ones use you for money, geniune ones reciprocate, when you're down in the rain they'll smile and pick you up. When you're down, the frowns your fake friends deliberately ignore (because they don't actually CARE about YOU. Only what they GET out of YOU) are immediately noticed by the real friend. It's not that it's some impossible standard. It's just basic reciprocity, a smile, a laugh, a mug when you're down. A blanket, a pat. A "Hey, how's it's going?" There's no kids in a M/M relationship so imho they should be more fulfilling than a toy. I think the person being "the right one at the right time" matters more than what genitals they have between their legs.
Everyone is talking about Stolas' voice at the end there, but not about how HEARTBREAKING Blitzø's yelling was at him. The emotion in his voice alone is so powerful to me. Brandon did an excellent job there.
no fr, everyone is saying that stolas made them cry but for me it was when blitzø said “stolas wait!”, because you could truly hear the regret and pain in his voice when he realised he had lost someone he cared about
i love how carefully written the ending scene dialogue is. All of Blitz’s words point not just to aspects of his and Stolas’s relationship but also to how imps are treated in Hell and what that means for Blitz. He references Stolas’s butler imps, how he feels dismissed because of what he sees as rejection, then the big picture: how Stolas is a royal and every royal holds nearly unspeakable levels of social power over imps. When he says roasts “play with our feelings” it implies Blitz feels for Stolas and therefore thinks highly of Stolas, but it’s simultaneously contradicted due to how abandoned Blitz feels in the moment. Blitz likely expects Stolas to stand up for himself, as most royals would likely do, in a powerful manner. He expects conflict. He is preparing to stand up for himself in reaction. When Stolas reacts honestly, Blitz realizes how genuine Stolas has been in this conversation and instantly tries to apologize. He realizes Stolas is really, actually trying to be different from the prejudice he is used to.
Yeah, I got why he got mad and was ready for a fight, like egging him on to continue fighting. Another thought is he instinctively was egging for a fight because that's the way he kept people around or to keep the conversation going 😭😭
This comment is IT right here. That summarized the dynamic in this conversation so well and I think it's easy to pick sides when in reality stolas and blitz are going through the same problems and are just terrible at honestly communicating sometimes

9:52 Little theory here, I like how Cletus and Keenie wear their visors, as if their dedicated to killing, and I think Collin doesn’t wears his visor to represent how the other two are sort of “blinded” by killing one demon, thinking it ruined their life, and Collin doesn’t wear his because he’s not “blinded,” and actually doesn’t want to murder.
Notice how all three of them wear their visors less and less as the episode goes on however, and it seems to go in time with them going from fixating with revenge and getting back into Heaven to becoming sincerely concerned how threatening Blitz is to innocent people. There's even some brief points where Keenie's eyes goes fully blue, when before they're nearly always red/blue or fully red to signify her angry hateful demeanor brimming inside. I also like Cletus' small bit of humanity trying to drag Collin and Keenie out of there when it's clear they've lost.

@@hunterculpepper1973 (First of all, paragraphs, please.) Second, IMP DID kill several other people in the process of trying to get Lyle to kill himself, the final nail in the coffin was them killing the opera singer as a distraction. I do think CHERUB were definitely flawed in their approach and intent, but ultimately IMP were heckling and riling them up in ANY way possible with zero restraint in what they done. Largely to kill a guy for money that Blitz had already spent on a toy horse. :P And had the nerve to get equally offended by CHERUB for telling them that made them horrible people. Really I think the vibe we're meant to get from the IMP and CHERUB rivalry is that they're almost the same people with a different coat of paint, they BOTH suck really, just IMP are the protagonists so get a 'winner's edit' despite self righteous murderers being just as atrocious as self serving philanthropists.
Oh, a well written misunderstanding is SO MUCH more satisfying than the typical "forced misunderstanding." It makes sense in both of their heads, and it's genuinely heartbreaking for the audience that has glimpsed inside both of their heads. They're both insecure in ways that made the fight particularly hurtful for each of them. Both of their reactions are so deeply human. Both Stolas going in with his emotional walls down and immediately putting them up and running away the instant he was hurt as well as Blitz responding to an emotionally stressful situation with yelling and needing time to process his emotions (especially since he's not used to expressing them).
I saw where it was heading kinda and it hurt so well. It’s a misunderstanding that as an audience we understand and feel for both of them. Meanwhile forced misunderstandings are so annoying and make me want to scream
You get it. This is why I am so invested in this. Here the misunderstanding is well-written, has a lot of layers and is very complex. In other romance shows the conflict is so easy to tell that it could be solved just by revealing something.
Did anyone notice that Stolas has covered his own face in every family portrait, but left Octavia uncovered. His descent into depression and self-loathing has begun to mirror blitz's even down to the self-removal. It's so good!
Blitz also hides his face on their photo with Luna. It breaks my heart 💔 It's so rare when dad is still home and loves you just like they do. But somehow guys don't appreciate this wonderful part of parenthood in themselves. Girls doesn't understand how it's hard to truly lose your dad's attention and love... Really good for them 💔
I think that the animation during Blitzo's trantrum at Stolas was absolutely phenomenal. The way he moves his head while he says "not as important" seems so real and raw. He's clearly panicking about things changing and doesn't want Stolas to end things with him because he got the wrong idea, but he absolutely doesn't have the tools to express that in a healthy way. Instead he got into fighting mode and insulted Stolas, projecting all of his insecurities about status and power onto him. Completely dismissing what Stolas did or said. Blitzo can't fathom that someone can love him this much. And Stolas is so insecure that It's easier for him to believe that Blitzo always hated him, and not that Blitzo is a mess at expressing himself - primarily because this is an unexpected situation from his point of view. They love each other so clearly, but are too wrapped around themselves and their own trauma to have a healthy discussion, let alone relationship. It's so beautiful and tragic. Kudos. Curious to see where this will head up to in the future.
You wrote that wonderfully, and we're not even covering how crushed they were after Ozzie's, Blitz's past and self hatred (Stolas def never sent to his apartment) Stolas's marriage never actually being ruined by Blitz, Seeing Stars/the guilt Blitz felt after Western Energy
I absolutely love whoever draws blitz's facial emoting and body language because it's just so fucking good. Like the scene where he's trying to leave and Stolas is trying to invite him in, You could read books in that simmering but controlled frustration that he kept rolling around.
21:25 Hearing the pure anger in Blitz’s voice echo off the walls and later hearing the actual heart shattering pain in Stolas voice when he says goodbye actually almost brought me to tears. This scene was so well done huge props to the writers, animators, and Brandon and Bryce for their performances.
@OfficerDandelionoftheUTTP bro??? Whats the point of typing all of this? To show that you're racist? Are you trying to show that you don't like helluva boss? Thats fine, but you don't have to be a racist asshole.
Can we all appreciate the incredible voice acting from Brandon Rogers and Bryce Pinkham at the end of the episode. Like the emotions and sincerity makes the scene so much more emotional.

Like Fizz can help Blitz confront both his deep seeded self-loathing in a way no one besides like Barb and his mom could and help him navigate the realities of the oppressive class system in hell and the reality that Imps can love higher class demons as well. Yes, I do feel silly typing those words out. why do you ask? also @Vivziepop any chance of some comment moderation so that folks can't post comments with slurs in them?
Blitz showing concern after seeing Stolas cry is just so depressing. Stolas dropped a whole bomb on him and he had no time to mull it over, so obviously he'd be angry. Even though this whole deal was supposed to be "transactional", Blitz caught feelings for Stolas, but he believes he'll hurt him like he hurt everyone around him, that he simply cannot accept Stolas loves him. I cannot WAIT for the new episode, this is getting so intense!
Stolas doesn't realize that it always looked like it was just a lust arrangement, because it was and he didn't even deny it at Ozzies. Stolas should learn to empatize more. They both fucked up so hard.
No, Stolas didn't drop a whole bomb on him so he "didn't had no time to mull it over". He did tell him/tried telling him plenty of times but blitz just disregarded everything, this was the ultimatum to see if Blitz would still fall into this never ending cycle of him either ignoring/dismissing or blitz would actually try to listen to him for once in a serious manner. All of this was a test (which blitz failed) to see if this cycle could even be talked about at some point, but no, this ultimatum was discarded as rp. @@sadgallington7850 By "bomb" I mean Blitz didn't expect this at all when he came over. He wasn't prepared, and he was caught off guard. Blitz didn't think Stolas actually loved him, so obviously he brushed it off as an rp. He cannot comprehend why Stolas is doing this and so naturally blames it on himself. Blitz has issues, yes, he's hurt nearly everyone around him. They've both got issues. Most of the time Blitz sees Stolas as a stuck-up rich dude trying to get it with a poor little imp, stepping all over him like he's some sort of toy. Blitz needs to fulfill Stolas' whims to get the grimoire to do his job. To survive. He was stuck in that cycle and thought it would always be that way until Stolas understood this was wrong and decided to uproot everything and set him free. Blitz needs time to process this, not just a few fleeting minutes (albeit Stolas' continuous explanation) to understand and come to terms to what Stolas has done. I suppose that's why we'll look forward to more episodes, to see how Blitz handles this.
It’s kind of funny how stolas could teleport blitz in and out of his house when ever he wants this whole time which means that he liked the idea of blitz sneaking in through his balcony
@@formanopinion The show definitely is a masterclass in writing. I think OP is right and it's a very realistic take. There's also the idea that he can only summon in his immediate presence, or when he knows. But Stolas also respects Blitz enough to not just teleport him at a whim.
And everyone, lets not forget, Stolas is NOT on his antidepressants today. And Loona 100% got in Blitzø's head with the whole "he's getting bored with you" thing
Yea, he possibly wasn't in a very good headspace but he wanted to be genuine for Blitz. When you're taking drugs, you're not really being you're genuine self.
Brandon Rogers absolutely killed it with his big scene with Stolas. The acting and facial expressions were brilliant and portrayed so many emotions. Give the man an award
I like the detail of Blitz having moments talking about things Stolas would/wouldn’t like to try in bed. I think it shows he does pay attention/care in his own way. He’s just expressing it it the way he knows how.
In s1 ep 6 moxie says this " i believe that your self-conscious is trying to tell you that you simply cannot fathom proper intimacy, but also craves it at the same time. " I love how this quote fits this entire episode, because blitz wants to show up every full moon but he isnt able to fathom the idea of stolas wanting to do anything but use him
"It's rather unfortunately, especially considering the way you treat those who stand by you -- such as myself. Are you afraid that I, too, will have enough of it one day?" Blitz yelling at hallucination Moxxie to stop talking was painful before, and it's even harder to remember now because this episode proves how Blitz would rather avoid thinking about his feelings, shortcomings, and self-esteem issues than face them to become a better person.
I like how they show Blitzø going through the stages of grief in this episode. He went through Denial, then started to bargain saying he would do anything or how he could be better. Then his outburst of anger and the end of the episode he went through a mix of Denial and anger as he yells WTF, like saying ‘what just happened’ or ‘did that just happen’. I especially love how in this episode both Stolas and Blizø verbally say what they believe the other thinks of them. Stolas saying B was finally free of him, that he didn’t have to do anything for him anymore. While Blitzø yells at Stolas saying how unimportant he was to someone like S. When in reality this is all what they think about themselves. But truth was that they both think so highly of each other. From this episode Bliztø probably thinks he f*cked up another relationship/person and I’m excited/curious to see how Stolas is gonna be reacting to what happened.
I literally cried tears of sorrow this episode. Stolas and Blitzøs complicated relationship development over the course of the show has brought me to tears. Sure he's a horny bottom but at the end of the day he just wishes for Blitzø to want to be there with him because he wants to for it not to be transactional. I cried tears because I know how Stolas feels on a deep and relatable level. As a gay top myself I wish I could go to hell in this fictional universe so I can give Stolas the true love and connection he deserves. Not only the great fucking he wants but the true desire for love and connection of cuddles and bond between us both. Stolas deserves better!

21:45 "Well I'm not letting u bitch" means "I am not letting you go" it's exactly what stolas wants to hear. It's just that blitz is confused and he wasn't able to say his true feelings 😭😭😭😭
the fact that once Stolas says goodbye to blitz, when in the past he said things like "until next time" really showed that Stolas really thought that this was where their reltionship was going to end. also, is it just me, or can anyone else hear blitz start to say "I'm sorry" right before he gets thrown out? I'm literally SOBBING.
I rewatched that moment so many times finally I hear it, he does say “I’m sorry” tho it’s more like “I’m sor” bc iphe didn’t get to finish he!s sentence
In the beginning of the first song, Stolas says that he’ll believe Blitz and not the voice that says he’s not good enough. Then when they do meet up, Blitz just tells Stolas that he’s a terrible person and reinforces Stolas’ self doubt. They wrote the emotion of this really well. I also love how the cherubs have the entirely wrong idea of what Blitz is getting things for
everyone's talking about how well Stolas's actor delivered his line, but omg Blitz's actor is SO good too like that the hell?! He delivered his lines so good?!
Literally like you need to be able to get into that anger and pain the character feels and Brandon (Blitz's voice actor) does that flawlessly you can feel the pain he is feeling. I am honestly curious how many times it took him to get it so right
omg, the detail in the final scenes where blitz has light in his eyes whenever stolas says how much he cares about him but that light going whenever stolas talks about blitz not needing to see him anymore
I noticed that too. Whenever Blitzø has light in his eyes, it usually means that whatever is happening means a LOT to him. That is, quite literally, the only way he expresses his true feelings towards something - and in this case, that something is Stolas
Man, communication skills are so underrated. That entire final scene could have been smoothed over if they actually answered eachothers questions and explained themselves properly, instead of just talking over eachother and letting their own fears drown out everything. They both got so close to actually being heard. Blitzø voiced his fears, and Stolas voiced his fears, but neither of them actually heard eachother. They only heard their own fears reflected back at them. They never actually heard eachother.
THANK YOU! I wholeheartedly agree! I know it was a tense moment but Stolas shouldn’t have jumped to conclusions and should’ve given Blitz a second to process his words. Blitz is just confused during the whole conversation, and is justified in being upset at Stolas and assuming he thinks of him as a plaything, as that’s how their relationship started out
Parts of your brain go offline in activated moments of trauma response They've had very limited, if any, examples of how to have this discussion in a healthy, mutually responsive and respectful way This is gonna be a hard wound to heal
Couldn’t agree more we waited for this and this is all we got 😭 really disappointing but something good has to happen vizzipop is amazing I really hope this isn’t the end
@@Iceraven222-hn4jj oh I’m not disappointed at all!! I feel like this is the beginning we need to a… redemption, I guess? A better end. I can’t wait to see where the rest of the episodes go, and based on the trailer, we WILL see Blitz and Stolas together again (hopefully)
Blitz yelling felt *real*. Visceral, angry, everything it needed to be was so real. Gods I am sobbing from this. To the entire staff and especially to Vivzie, thank you for making something so beautiful. This episode was amazing and the delays were more than worth it.
The final scene with Stolas and Blitz is so tragic and beautiful. It's so real and each side is justified with how they're feeling. Thank you to the incredible voice actors, writers, storyboarders, animators, music team, everyone for creating such a perfect ending to this episode and ever so emotional situation for Stolas and Blitz.
When I look at it as a relationship, I can never find Blitzo right, and I get angry at him... but then I remember his traumas, and I forgive him. He broke my heart
Blitz didn't know he was being serious since blitz is a bit slow and the entire thing they had was s e x so blitz might not have realized or just didn't want to and if I'm correct which I think I am stolas didn't really tell blitz that this was going to be a serious thing and not something about seggs
@@ForceOfLight not worst he has a inferiority complex which he tries to hide acting like he is strong but looking at the trailer and this episode he will finally try to change even if it's scary and even if it might hurt. And that's good
"Blitz i think so very highly of you.. I didnt realize you think so low of me" hit HARD and Blitz trying to apologize but being forced to leave before saying so HURTS
Its not that he thinks so little of stolas its that blitzo thinks so little of himself that he can't believe anyone would think of him any more than what he thinks of himself.
I want to like this comment, but it's at 666 likes and I don't want to mess that up. But yes, I fully agree, and I'm crying over here... EDIT: Okay, the number's changed, so here's your like!
The face Blitz made when Stolas said: “Blitz, I think so very highly of you, I didn't realize you think so low of me”; was the moment he realized how much Stolas cared about him. I'm so sad about this, I just wish that this end up better in the future.
“And if he’s only here as a prisoner what kind of MONSTER does that make me?” Gave me chills, man. Such an excellent delivery of that line-anger, the protective kind that drives you to want to hurt whoever hurt your loved one, but it’s directed inward. And for all that Stolas is scared that Blitz will leave him, the most important thing to him is that Blitz is free to choose.
"And if he's only here as a prisoner, what kind of monster does that make me?" I love that line. Bryce's voice acting is top-notch. That has got to be my favorite line out of the entire song, maybe even the episode.
The way Blitz's eyes snap to Stolas in fear when he was explaining why he gave him the crystal and said "You don't have to stay here with me...". And then when he was yelling at the end and tearing up and the pure raw sad anger in his voice. Beautifully done.
Loona kinda messed with Blitzø's head. She told him that giving him a choice to make sure he's comfy means Stolas is bored of him. He didn't believe that Stolas could love him because he was "bored"
@@HelloItsSnail oh it wouldn't have been simply Loona's statement. Blitzo always had a beef with higher level demons because of his father. In his eyes the "elites" only ever cared for themselves and looked down on the imps. Something that Stolas "proved" to him a bit in Asmodius' club. So he only really saw his relationship with Stolas as just a "sex for favors" relationship up until the point he realized that Stolas DID care. At which point he tried to fix things but it was too late.
@@ProfNekko yes. I am simply stating that he thought back to Loona talking about that and, among other things, it made him assume the worst. Well written reply, btw :)
21:00 I love how while Stolas is walking slow, Blitzo has to run to keep up with him, even skidding at the sudden turns. Stolas thinks it’s like he’s just moving the conversation to its finale in a different room. To blitzo, he’s actively leaving him. In 21:24 we see this again. Stolas is opening the door, but it closes behind him, so Blitzo kicks the door open. Again he feels like he’s being shut out.
And it’s such a perfect parallel to how their conversation is going. Stolas is being direct and clear, moving at a pace he thinks is reasonable… but Blitzø is running to keep up with everything and still getting left behind.
And Stolas doesn't even realize how much he was hurting Blitz in that moment. Whether he meant it or not, Stolas took control of the conversation, didn't give Blitz any real time to think or speak, assumed he had his answer before Blitz could say his piece, and accused Blitz of making everything about sex when that's what Stolas indirectly caused back when they first met up again. Stolas knows intellectually that he did something wrong, but he still understands Blitz as much as Blitz understands Stolas: not one bit. Apology Tour will be a start, but it'll probably take a whole season for the two of them to work out all their issues with each other.
I think Stolas felt intimidated when Blitz started screaming at him and tried to create distance between them, it was like Blitz was cornering him and Blitz wanted to start a fight with him.
@@IanPendleton-gh6ox even if Blitz had time to think and understood Stolas was serious that wouldn't have changed anything. you people keep forgetting that Blitz has attachment issues and low self esteem, he thinks nobody will ever love him. Blitz would probably be in denial and think Stolas is just joking around or it's some type of roleplay. Blitz didn't realize how much he was hurting Stolas when he was lashing out at him either. Both of them were hurting each other, it's not just Stolas.
@@IanPendleton-gh6oxNo, Blitz indirectly made their relationship all about sex when he seduced him and took off with the book without a word. Stolas thought Blitz would be fine with the full moon arrangement and Blitz told him he liked the dirty talk. Stolas was trying to match Blitz' energy.
@@cielsteam I know right? He actually believes thats what Blitzo thinks of him and it hurts....I hope they will be able to fix that and get together afterall
21:47 We can see that Stolas flinches/ cowards slightly when Blitz shouted “bitch”. Stolas has never been the confrontational type and has always had to endure shouting and screaming while in the marriage with Stella. For him to be hurt so much by the one person he loved so dearly. You can see the moment his heart shattered.
Blitzø uses "bitch" earlier when he's trying to initiate sex between them, and Stolas actually blushes then, so it's both a clever and sad full circle that it's used here, too. It's not just Blitzø using the word, but how it's being used. :( There's a distorted "Whoosh" sound when Blitzø is yelling while walking, as the door frame passes in front of him, and I took that as a sign that Stolas has switched into a sort of PTSD fight-or-flight mode, where things get hazy and feel dream/nightmare-like. Blitzø's tirade was a demand for time to process and not be dropped so quickly - which really are things he should get - but at that point Stolas was just hearing the yelling and insults. Blitzø's voice was probably bleeding into the trauma of Stella and possibly everyone else who's treated Stolas like he wasn't good enough.
This. This especially hurts as someone who has also suffered both physical and verbal abuse, and flinches when someone starts yelling at me. I'm also very non-confrontational, and the way Blitzo was yelling while chasing after Stolas (even if it wasn't intentional) was just far too reminiscent of how Stella used to yell while chasing after him.
When Blitz said it for bed purposes it was Stolas letting go of control. Or so Stolas thought. Blitz calling him that OUTSIDE of bed meant (to Stolas) that he was nothing more than a sex toy to be used. That he was a bitch, like how Stella called him for half of his life. The person he was in love with for a glance and a half thought of him just as badly as one who treated him like sh** for most of his life, when he wanted far more than that. You don't need to be a demon lord to break.
Me After Watching Mastermind: I really should rewatch Bojack again because I do not remember cartoon characters having this complex and thorough of a relationship journey ONSCREEN in a series, and it looks like Blitz and Stolas are going through most of them this single season (Miscommunication, ghosting, break-up, Ex-era, reconiliation) this is what you get when the creators favorite series is Bojack, and I want it all ❤️🔥
The two types of people in the comments: 1: The ones who are deeply emotionally touched by the latest drama in Blitz and Stolas' romance. 2:The ones who are just laughing at how suspiciously eager the DHORKS agent is to wear the Loona fursuit...
Cherubs plus battlesuits, STILL GET THEIR ASSES KICKED. Also, I feel like the male agent may secretly be a furry. And wtf is with the sus roleplay that's goin' on when the Cherubs get back to Earth!?
The last straw for Stolas here was obviously hearing Blitz FINALLY say the words he's longed to hear for ages ("I'll stay Stolas, I love you so much!"), but in a hurtful and mocking parody. I mean, we all know Blitz didn't mean it to sound nasty, but imagine how incredibly awful and mortifying that must have felt to Stolas. 😢
Hard to imagine someone loving you when you don't love yourself. I feel bad for them both. Blitz and Stolas really need to talk it out and Blitz needs to let down his walls.
This was really all established as Paimon buying Blitzø to please Stolas, their relationship right from the get go was formed by a transaction, regardless if it was just one boy wanting to make a friend, but was poisoned by classism. It’s heartbreaking to see how that kind of dynamic can infect something that could’ve been so much purer.
@@Palafico3 Exactly! Both their dads are terrible! Both sold out their sons, both poisoned their minds that they were never enough and both victims of hell hierarchy caste system.
Anyone else notice the parallel between him tossing the bag of treasures off the balcony as a child and bringing him a bag of treasures? My heart kind of swelled. Devastated in the best way by this episode
People are calling Stolas a hypocrite here, but this is the episode where he really realizes how wrong their 'transaction' was and wants to do something to make it less like a chore for blitz and more something out of free will. He caught genuine feelings for Blitz which is what opened his eyes to the wrongness of the situation, he didn't just magically change personality, he fell in love.
And yet he didn't even give Blitz any chance of actually processing what was going on. No warning that he needed to talk about a serious matter. He just invited him to the "usual" session. Granted, Stolas is a little bit removed from reality, with his status as prince and all. And also removed from how to process feelings in a healthy manner, given that for the better part of his life he only knew Stella's abuse.
"WELL I'M NOT LETTING YOU, BITCH! LET'S GO!" Damn, Brandon really nailed it there. He didn't necessarily want a romantic relationship right now, but he did want clarification on what Stolas was saying and to work something out. He really felt used and thrown away, and he was mad that Stolas gave him an ultimatum in a cold, matter of fact tone that dismissed his feelings. And poor Stolas...."Blitz, I think so highly of you. I didn't realize you think so low of me. Goodbye, Blitz." Bryce even nailed it with the crying. Stolas didn't hear Blitz's message, only the insults and comparison of him to other royals. We never expected Stolas to be the one shutting down and Blitz running after him. It was beautifully done.
It's not just that. Think about the way the Blitz confronted him about it. While it was very in character for Blitz to respond how he did, it was also _very_ similar to how Stella acted towards him constantly. His marriage was very clearly abusive, and one of her primary methods of abusing him was to shout at and berate him. Blitz was unknowingly slamming down hard on a massive trauma button.
What stolas said: "You don't HAVE to stay here with me, only if you want to" What blitz heard: "You are no longer useful for me and I am abandoning you forever, but you can still beg for it and humiliate yourself like the little imp that you are" please just let them sit down and talk this out i'm so mad, please for the love of god, plea
Seeing so much genuine confusion from Blitzo and misinterpretation from Stolas is heartbreaking- both of them seem insecure in the same way but can't understand it from eachother. One handles the fear of rejection by lashing out, the other by running away. Uhhgg my heartstrings.
i love how their argument completely subverts the miscommunication trope. stolas said everything he wanted to say. but blitz's self hatred is so ingrained that he just can't comprehend that stolas has feelings for him.
@@the_furry_inside_your_walls639 and in the end..it completely broke Blitz seeing Stolas cry
Blitz can't even comprehend that he has feelings for Stolas.
@@Mediados Stolas isn't blameless in this situation. He constructs these grand narrative emotional bombs and then mopes when things don't go exactly as he envisioned, not to mention the whole savior complex.

Fizz outfit was adorable too glad he quit
ikr he was so proud to show bliz around
That was definitely a surprise. After the Mamon and rescue episodes, Fizz has definitely repaired that burned bridge with Blitz, and seeing him all smiles while talking with his brother again is such a wonderful sight
That was great, but also seeing IMP tail Blitz to make sure his night goes well was excellent too. Plus seeing Loona barely hesitate to save the coworkers she claims she hates. Plenty of wholesome this episode.
The only happy thing about this episode
I would like to point out that when Stolas gave Blitz the Gem, his reaction wasnt "Ok thank you see ya never", it was "Why are you giving me this? I can do better for you." Even after being told what the gem does, Blitz doesnt want to end the relationship with Stolas. But he has no idea how to express that
It was really heartbreaking. I just want my boys to be happy. Blitz was so unready for this, and Stolas wasn't in the place to be able to take even a moment of perceived rejection. Really really sad
Ah yes 100% real@ArianoKaurich

Acid trip moxie kind of summed it up pretty well. He craves love, closeness and yet fears it all the same because he also fears rejection. Credit to vizie that whole bit really summed up his psyche beautifully
@@rakat2746 yeah omg i saw that :'((( poor guy
Not just that, but the lighting and colors too, when Stolas first talks it’s mostly blue, but later, the lighting is red to symbolize Blitzø
@uttpspacecadetNo One Cares
I think both Blitz and Stolas are both afraid to be vulnerable

Brandon and Bryce absolutely devoured this episode. Bryce is incredible at making his voice crack at the PERFECT times when Stolas is stressed and desperately trying to hide it, and obviously Brandon’s frantic aggression was spot-on but what broke my heart was Blitzo’s “Because I can always-I-I can always do better!”

👁👄👁
“I can do better” ..the way that Blitzø said it.. it was like a child trying to find approval from his parents.. and it’s very painful to hear because it’s his PTSD.. he went through that
He thinks that he has to do better.. and it’s painful
YESSS he GAVE him the crystal he couldve just left but he didn't he doesn't want to lose him!!!
Blitzo should’ve just told Stolas that he loves him too and that he doesn’t want to lose him.
WAIT WHAT THATS SO CUTE
Damn this was already 6 months ago???

The fact Stolas was speaking so quick while handing over the crystal and explaining how it works, makes you think he was about to cry or that he just wanted the hard part to be over so quick..the whole voice acting and small but very crucial details put into this show. Truly an emotional roller coaster indeed.
i was not ready at all
That was definitely anxiety and a bit of desperation; he'd clearly been mulling over the "best" way to word things for a while, and he wanted to get it all out before Blitzø had time to cut in and miss the context of what he was trying to say. Especially once Blitzø got upset at the thought of losing the book: Stolas was trying to assuage his fears about losing access to it and emphasize that he wanted Blitzø be able to do his work without being tied to it.
Dude.. The fact that stolas said "i think so very highly of you" instead of "thought" just makes it even more sad😭
Despite being upset at Blitzø's reactions, he's doesn't want to throw blame at Blitzø over it.

pretty disrespectful to give the guy like two minutes to comb through this whole situation, when Stolas had months to think about it
It really shows how Stolas has changed but Blitz hasn’t been able to see it, what with him not seeing him for months and referring to himself as “Blitzy” when impersonating Stolas
@@Palidine4M0O If Blitz hadn't been dodging every attempt Stolas made at talking seriously he may have had a bit longer to process.

Yee but this episode left me on suzh a clifhanger )):
This is me though.

A "Hey, how's it's going?"
There's no kids in a M/M relationship so imho they should be more fulfilling than a toy.

Holy shit you worded that so well. That's exactly what Blitzo was going for, such a good observation.
Yeah, I got why he got mad and was ready for a fight, like egging him on to continue fighting. Another thought is he instinctively was egging for a fight because that's the way he kept people around or to keep the conversation going 😭😭

Sadly there is enough times until even the most faithful give in.

That or the show is poorly written
@@formanopinion The show definitely is a masterclass in writing. I think OP is right and it's a very realistic take. There's also the idea that he can only summon in his immediate presence, or when he knows. But Stolas also respects Blitz enough to not just teleport him at a whim.

Stolas singing about his feelings while Blitz singing about explicitly *avoiding* anything that might be feelings was a great dichotomy.

In s1 ep 6 moxie says this
" i believe that your self-conscious is trying to tell you that you simply cannot fathom proper intimacy, but also craves it at the same time. "
I love how this quote fits this entire episode, because blitz wants to show up every full moon but he isnt able to fathom the idea of stolas wanting to do anything but use him
When Mox said that, I took it personally lol

"It's rather unfortunately, especially considering the way you treat those who stand by you -- such as myself. Are you afraid that I, too, will have enough of it one day?"
Blitz yelling at hallucination Moxxie to stop talking was painful before, and it's even harder to remember now because this episode proves how Blitz would rather avoid thinking about his feelings, shortcomings, and self-esteem issues than face them to become a better person.
So next it's gonna be depression. Oh, crumbs.
Stolas deserves better!

the fact that once Stolas says goodbye to blitz, when in the past he said things like "until next time" really showed that Stolas really thought that this was where their reltionship was going to end. also, is it just me, or can anyone else hear blitz start to say "I'm sorry" right before he gets thrown out? I'm literally SOBBING.

yes, i heard that too!
I also love how the cherubs have the entirely wrong idea of what Blitz is getting things for
It's easy for us but Stolas can't see the third person view.
Ok this is like too deep, I started this as some absolutely hilarious show…and it made me cry
everyone's talking about how well Stolas's actor delivered his line, but omg Blitz's actor is SO good too like that the hell?!
Such an interesting detail!!! 💔
Blitz is just confused during the whole conversation, and is justified in being upset at Stolas and assuming he thinks of him as a plaything, as that’s how their relationship started out
Blitz at the end realized his mistake but it was too late.. had stolas not teleported him out, the proper talk needed may have happened.

@OfficerDandelionoftheUTTPstfu why are you promoting your bad content here (and yes im aware my content is shit too)
These bots are getting out of hand
21:47 We can see that Stolas flinches/ cowards slightly when Blitz shouted “bitch”. Stolas has never been the confrontational type and has always had to endure shouting and screaming while in the marriage with Stella. For him to be hurt so much by the one person he loved so dearly. You can see the moment his heart shattered.
Blitzø uses "bitch" earlier when he's trying to initiate sex between them, and Stolas actually blushes then, so it's both a clever and sad full circle that it's used here, too. It's not just Blitzø using the word, but how it's being used. :(
There's a distorted "Whoosh" sound when Blitzø is yelling while walking, as the door frame passes in front of him, and I took that as a sign that Stolas has switched into a sort of PTSD fight-or-flight mode, where things get hazy and feel dream/nightmare-like.
I never noticed that, i thought Stolas became shorter. (No offense Stolas :3)
yeah i’m cryingggggg they were my fav 😭😭😭💔

It was a brilliantly written scene because that's what A REAL lovers fight is, No one is wrong but everyone is misunderstood.
Thats exactly what i was thinking
YES. THIS. Realizing the parallel really drilled home "oh fck this is the LAST time they might ever see each again"
OH MY GOD WHY DID YOU HAVE TO POINT THIS OUT AAAAGHHH THEYRE SO DEVASTATING 😭😭
The ending scene also takes place next to the (now covered) chandelier that they played in as kids.
Yeah I caught that
19:11 when stolas puts back the book the one next to it is about pirates too.
LET'S GO!"
Damn, Brandon really nailed it there.
We had an idea thanks to the trailer. Not like THIS though.
I agree @@falconeshield totally agree
Stolas turned the gifting of the crystal into a game with new rules that Blitz even wasn't aware of.
@@rock21611 It explains why Stolas banished Blitz back out of the house, it was to prevent Blitz from becoming the victim of Stolas's emotions
