I cannot believe we actually saw Fizz's horns. That entire scene is so heartbreaking, but it turned so sweet. I cannot believe how fluffy and wholesome the demon of lust is. And the ASL moment was adorable. Those are the kind of fans to perform for!

GAAAYYYYYY" Or it could be a form of demotion from the status of a sin by a council or something. and even more potentially interesting as a tie-in to Hazbin Hotel. he might ascend knowing and embodying a virtue rather than a sin.
I love how scene between Fizz and the boy speaking sign language, it was so heart warming! I also love how it was immediately followed by the old fan hating on FIzz, really highlights how a singular bad moment can overshadow even the brightest of moments.

I love all the little bits in the show. It’s really the little stuff, like when mammon in the beginning says “women just ain’t funny” as the ‘Written by Viv” text pops up and immediately disappears. 😂 The little details make it so funny if you catch them.
Conventional wisdom would imply that this is true, at least when it comes to clowning. Most people will only laugh at someone being hit in the face with a frying pan if that someone is a guy. But that was before Vivzie came along and had Niffty swan dive onto the hardwood floor over and over.

What’s crazy is that the animators put so much work into this that the signs were extremely accurate and clear (very hard to do sign language in animation) AND it was super grammatically correct! That made my little heart melt

I know the kid said "clown, same," but I'm not fully sure what Fizz signed but I know there was a "want" and "can" in there. The last sign he did looked a lot like "work" but that wouldn't make sense for the context.
@@boonAlina there are different types of sign language so I assume their using American sign language so that may be the difference (there are still lot of overlapped terms though)
I love how Vivziepop made the relationship between fizz and Ozzie more than just lust. She made it so that they both truest love and care for each other which is just truly beautiful.

I don't really understood, why Blitz was like he only now realized, that they are together, when in the last episode Fizz already told him about their relationship?
You know what I noticed. So when Fizz runs into his dressing room in his panic attack, you can still hear a little bit of Klown Bitch playing in the background, meaning pretty much no time had passed. And yet Ozzy comes in almost as soon as that happens. That means there is 1 logical situation. Blitzø saw that Fizz was panicking and called Ozzy. And I think that's adorable
I really love how Fizz’s body language was portrayed in this episode. The way he wraps his tail around himself when he feels scared or uncomfortable was really cool. I noticed that he tries to seem smaller by crouching and he tries to hide in his clown scarf thing whenever he feels scared as well. I really like this episode.
I love that too! Shows how he’s not a confrontational as Blitz. While Blitz would use his tail to attack, Fizz uses his to make himself seem smaller, or give himself a comforting hug. I just wanna protect him when he looks so uncomfortable and scared!
as someone who've fallen for that ... yea, and it hurt. But this is what so good about this show, we all have flaw and Spindelhorse team manage to capture them perfectly and raise up the self destructive aspect without being judgemental. It's a really good freaking show.
I don't know if any of you realized it, but the little boy is not only deaf but also has a broken horn. A detail that I find extremely beautiful in the interaction with Fizz

Asmodeus and Fizzarolli are the best/cutest/greatest/loving couple that I've seen in the show. I love thier bond/relationship. They both deserve each other. I'm so glad/happy that they have each other. I still hope if they make a new season of Helluva Boss, I hope that they'll make an episode Asmodeus proposing to Fizzarolli in marriage, and then they have a wedding, then they are married to one another. I have had two panic that I have realized were panic attacks, one was exactly like Fizz’s. I was about seven and my manipulate dad at the time said I was faking and overreacted even when I almost passed out and couldn’t breathe for 24 seconds. Mammon acts so much like him in a way that makes me WANT TO COMMIT MURDER.
Nobody is commenting on how much Blitzø was showing genuine concern for his friend and doing his best to defend him but not interfere too much. Thats some mad respect from Blitzø and im so proud of him!
He's been growing, and hes messed this relationship up before and he isn't willing to due it again. I can't say hes being hit with reality, but hes being hit by something and its making him better. I love character development
I love how quick he was thinking in the face of Fizz's panic attack. How he caught Fizz before he fainted and clung to him to shield him from the explosions that accompanied Mammon's appearance.
Not to mention that Blitzø went through the exact same thing at their old circus... while he got out and they turned Fizz against him, Fizz stayed in, and just traded up to a more powerful exploiter. So Blitzø, of all people, had empathy with Fizz that even he himself couldn't deny.
God, I can't get over Fizz and Blitzs friendship. The way Blitz changes his tactics with assholes when he sees Fizz panic is so sweet. And the "hey hey whoa you good?" When Fizz is about to pass out. It just honestly goes to show how much Blitz ACTUALLY cares about his loved ones. Also I have a headcannon that Blitz called Ozzie after Fizzs panic attack and told him he wasnt okay and thats how and why Ozzie gets there so fast.

I love how Mammon is pretty much everything I wanted the incarnation of capitalism to be portrayed as. I felt legit uncomfortable about everything he did and said to Fizz -- much like how I feel uncomfortable about what capitalism is doing to us all.

Fizz, Mammon, the Glam Sisters, Pomni, Jevil, Marx, Dimentio, Kefka, Clownpiece, Beppi, Pennywise, Joker, Harley Quinn, etc. Quite a few of them are horrible people, but their designs are almost always impeccable.

This episode exactly portrays the reality of being a performer. Creepy fans, abusive bosses, putting up this perfect image all the time, letting one negative comment out of thousands of good ones get to you. Not being able to speak up about this is one of the biggest problems, and I applaud the team for this episode. Well done.

In Ozzie's, Moxxie got kicked out for being lovey-dovey, for being romantic rather than sexual. For the embodiment of Lust, of strong sexual desire, to be seen in a romantic relationship is incredibly taboo. That's why it's an issue.
I also like how civil they are now together after Blitz and Fizz retconciled Oz: Can you help me with my lover's abusive occupation and self-destructive dreams? Blitz: I am an asshole... DONE!
I like to imagine that the reason Fizz knows sign language is because he was temporarily deaf after the explosion at the circus even after he got his robotic limbs.

Fizzaroli is one of the best examples of doing a character with a disability you can find nowadays. It doesn't hold him back, but he deals with the pain with it still. The part with him talking to the deaf kid with sign language was very touching. He's a character you can't help but root for, and love. He, in my opinion, is the best character in the entire series.
I have to admit he was my favorite since Ozzies but after this episode my love for him Is inmensurable and I thanks vivziepop for created an amazing character like him
I don’t completely agree… since disability often comes with thing that hold you back and that is in my opinion less shown then disabled characters who are… actually more able to most extent because a) superpowers or b) mechanics or c) those characters who have non realistic amount of luck at everything. As a disabled person myself I don’t relate at all to fizz (except for me learning sign language as a disabled but hearing person, for communities sake and funnsies)… and that is pretty telling, that it’s not actually encapsulating disability for a disabled perspective extremely well. What we get to see, that Fizz is hold back by shame of his disability,… what is one thing that isn’t naturally holding you back but because society sucks and it is very normalized to being ashamed of your disabled body. That’s also something that isn’t inherent to me, but media kinda said I should… so…? What I really would have needed as child… and still do, is seeing disabled people engaging with each other as a community with an disabled identity and will to stand up for each other and against ableism, disabled characters who can really don’t do some stuff and it doesn’t get wiped away… cause it’s the idea that everyone has to be capable of certain things to be even worth showing on screen and not just seen as sad. Disability who resembles mine (well I got hunchback if notredam for that… oh wait, he is totally abused, very nice for you feeling worthy of love with a scoliosis /s), happy disabled people who can’t do everything on their own, anti-ableist ideas and ideology, and peaks into the life of disabled people from the lense of: wow, assistance is given, disability aids are great and we have so many of them and here they are, and well some things suck sich could be changed (like making hospitals that much to endure with long waiting times and them generally not seen as place for life quality, fun and integrating them more into all other social things…. Maybe even community places (of course depends on what type of hospital)… but just places which have a place in life and not sad places you want to avoid for all reasons.
@@Alalea17 Yeah, I agree. I'm disabled and I just don't see Fizz as disabled. His robotic arms and legs don't seem to have any drawbacks and I didn't fully realise he's disabled until the end of last episode. I think he falls under the trope of characters who have powers/tech that makes their disability practicly nonexistant. HOWEVER we didn't see much of him yet and they still have a lot of episodes to explore this aspect of his character. Something small like him doing some sort of adjustments to his prostetics, making sure they work right (I'm not an amputee, I don't know how to take care of a prostetic) But yeah seeing these small things is enought for me seeing as he's not a main character. Also, his interactions with the deaf/mute kid are SOOO sweet.
That's kinda been his thing for a while, but at least now he's actually helping people in a good way. He's helping his friend overcome one of the more evil of the deadly sins, he's helping his friend's boyfriend reconnect with him, and he's killing abusive pieces of shit like Burnz.
fizz’s song is such a banger, and i think it’s really fitting because he’s based off jesters, not clowns. clowns are usually the ones making jokes at their own expense while jesters are usually making fun of others to make people laugh. jesters used to be the only ones allowed to poke fun at royals because it was their job to do so. i think it’s awesome that fizz started off as a clown and grew into being the true jester he is and was always supposed to be. love him sm!
@unleonsitooo Yeah, I’m not sure if the blue fire from the lust ring even hurts imps. I mean, Stolas got a bit worried when his cape caught fire in the last episode but maybe it just couldn’t handle fire cause he seemed fine.
Not everyone gets traumatized like that. I drowned once (barely made it), but I was never afraid of water or swimming after that. In Fizz’s case, he’s probably not scared of fire exactly because he blamed Blitz for causing it.
At 24:37 fizz says "heres my two minute notice" then nearly exactly 2 minutes later he finishes his song up. The attention to detail is simply outstanding

There is something so wonderful about having a person in the cast who genuinely feels like he’s living in hell. Like Fizz is afraid of the violent nature of people not really being much of a fighter. He feels uncomfortable with some overtly sexual things related to him. Having a sensitive soul in a desensitized environment is honestly awesome.

I wouldn't say any of these characters are wholesome. They all have wholesome moments, but they're demons and act as such. Blitzo kills humans, Ozzie shamed the hell out of M&M and Stolas/Blitzo for being loving instead of lustful, even Millie and Moxie are evil murderers by our standards. Don't get so wrapped up in the trees that you miss the forest.
I think it’s because the robot personality is designed to cater to the owner instead of being based on Fizz. Based on his stage persona that Mammon wants as opposed to who Fizz really is. He’s a bit abrasive and naughty but he’s a fairly gentle sort at heart. But that’s not what Mammon or his buyers want. They want that naughty hyperactive clown that will still do whatever the hell they want for them.

Fizz actually knowing sign language and probably making that little deaf kid feel like he belongs for once is one of the most heartwarming parts of this episode honestly.
Ok I have a theory about this. We all know he was a burn/blast victim right? That inevitably would’ve messed up his ears so what if that was the only way he could communicate while he recovered? Obv now he has his hearing but I think that may have also been a cybernetic enhancement that he had done similar to his limbs
Having a daughter who used sign language growing up, it was so lovely to see sign language being implemented here. Well done, the whole episode felt raw and honest, presented in a fun and spectacular way, as always. 💗
When Fizz had a panic attack and took off his jester hat made my heart break a little. You know he’s been through a lot and it’s hard for him to express it.

I wonder if he is deaf or just mute, Fizz does some other stuff aside from singing but it takes up a lot of his act. I wouldn't imagine it has a lot of draw to someone who can't hear him
At first, I was surprised that Mammon didn't get a musical number of his own the way Ozzie and Bee got 'House of Asmodeus' and 'Cotton Candy,' but it makes sense with this depiction. Mammon doesn't have talent; he exploits it.
If Mam had a song, I would have assumed it was something like what the Glam sisters sung. But our biggest hints to reveal that he wasn’t an entertainer came the moment we meet him. He doesn’t reveal himself in silhouette to tease his arrival which shows his lack of showmanship, he’s holding a guitar but doesn’t actually use it, and his hold ‘performance’ is just all big and loud flashes. That’s why he needed Fizz, to do his job of luring people to sin. Or in this case, make it easier or Mam himself to sin.
I literally love the scene where Fizz interacts with the deaf imp kid in ASL. This is so heart warming to see, even if I'm not deaf myself. I bet he learned it in the past.
On top of that it's fairly accurate which is really hard to animate with all the quick gestures. The fact they went out of their way to actually learn ASL for it instead of doing random hand signals is amazing!
True, as a hearing teenager, i want to learn ASL so I can communicate with people in the future because you never know if you’re gonna run into a deaf person who struggles to lip read.
It sucks that Blitzo can easily accept an elite demon like Ozzie loving Fizz but thinks he (Blitzo) couldn’t possibly be loved by anyone. I hope Fizz and Ozzie can help him see what he could have with Stolas before it’s too late.
Given what we've seen of his past life and what we can assume, I can sort of understand why. Unlike Fizz who has been loved and appreciated (and exploited), Blitz didn't have many around him who gave him that kind of affection early on and the one that did, likely his mom, is gone; sure he had Fizz too but we know someone, probably his dad, ruined that for them.
It's great to see how Blitzo steps in when he sees how Mammon treats Fizz. No one, not even a Sin, is going to stop him from being there for his friend.
Blitz smack talked one of the big three of the devil trinity, granted he was partially drunk already and it was a non-hostile environment, but still Blitz gives zero fucks for rank and has a chip on his shoulder for Mammon ontop of that.
I also just realized when Asmodeus comes to protect/defend Fizzarolli, that this whole time I thought he was saying "Back the f_ck up MAN" But watching it was subtitles for the first time as everyone around me is asleep I finally know he said "Back the f_ck up MAM" which is super crazy to me. I don't know why but I love that scene even more bc of it.

Back when The Little Mermaid was a TV series after the first movie, they had a mermaid named Gabriella that used sign language, and an octopus translated for her. I'm happy proper sign language is used here as well. Been a while since I've seen sign language used at all in an animated show.

Fizz and Asmodeus are the healthiest relationship in the entire show and I love them they are so precious and about as wholesome as two demons can get. So loving and supportive. The army of shippers in the crowd is just great.
Asmodeus confessing his love for Fizz in front of everyone was just too great. Also finally seeing Fizz without his hood and his insecurities was so emotional. Love when this show does that.
The way everyone reacted wasn't as bas as I thought. I thought they would get booed off the stage or something, but it felt like everyone kind of knew already based on speculation. It happens in real life when everyone plays it off like it's not too big of a deal. I mean, Beelzebub is dating Tex, who is a hellhound, and no one acts like it's really scandalous.

There's probably reasons we don't know about yet because of the bureaucracy and politics of hell that it's okay for Beezlebub but not Asmodeus though. Asmodeus already gives the impression that he needs to worry more about image, whereas Beezlebub is just a party girl.
I think it makes sense that fizz would know sign language considering that his voice is so scratchy i think he probably lost his voice after the accident and needed a way to communicate
This WHOLE episode is just amazing the mirroring of fizzy in the little boy and the use of sign language, getting to see Ozzie and fizzy sing together and Ozzie confessing publicity is just adorable, also love how blitz is just kinda third wheeling the hole time yet also still supporting fizzy is hilarious and sweet. And adding the “dish washer safe”10/10

You know what I noticed. So when Fizz runs into his dressing room in his panic attack, you can still hear a little bit of Klown Bitch playing in the background, meaning pretty much no time had passed. And yet Ozzy comes in almost as soon as that happens.
That means there is 1 logical situation. Blitzø saw that Fizz was panicking and called Ozzy. And I think that's adorable
I really love how Fizz’s body language was portrayed in this episode. The way he wraps his tail around himself when he feels scared or uncomfortable was really cool. I noticed that he tries to seem smaller by crouching and he tries to hide in his clown scarf thing whenever he feels scared as well. I really like this episode.

I have had two panic that I have realized were panic attacks, one was exactly like Fizz’s. I was about seven and my manipulate dad at the time said I was faking and overreacted even when I almost passed out and couldn’t breathe for 24 seconds. Mammon acts so much like him in a way that makes me WANT TO COMMIT MURDER.

I love how quick he was thinking in the face of Fizz's panic attack. How he caught Fizz before he fainted and clung to him to shield him from the explosions that accompanied Mammon's appearance.
Not to mention that Blitzø went through the exact same thing at their old circus... while he got out and they turned Fizz against him, Fizz stayed in, and just traded up to a more powerful exploiter. So Blitzø, of all people, had empathy with Fizz that even he himself couldn't deny.

Fizzaroli is one of the best examples of doing a character with a disability you can find nowadays. It doesn't hold him back, but he deals with the pain with it still. The part with him talking to the deaf kid with sign language was very touching. He's a character you can't help but root for, and love. He, in my opinion, is the best character in the entire series.

I don’t completely agree… since disability often comes with thing that hold you back and that is in my opinion less shown then disabled characters who are… actually more able to most extent because a) superpowers or b) mechanics or c) those characters who have non realistic amount of luck at everything.
As a disabled person myself I don’t relate at all to fizz (except for me learning sign language as a disabled but hearing person, for communities sake and funnsies)… and that is pretty telling, that it’s not actually encapsulating disability for a disabled perspective extremely well. What we get to see, that Fizz is hold back by shame of his disability,… what is one thing that isn’t naturally holding you back but because society sucks and it is very normalized to being ashamed of your disabled body. That’s also something that isn’t inherent to me, but media kinda said I should… so…?
What I really would have needed as child… and still do, is seeing disabled people engaging with each other as a community with an disabled identity and will to stand up for each other and against ableism, disabled characters who can really don’t do some stuff and it doesn’t get wiped away… cause it’s the idea that everyone has to be capable of certain things to be even worth showing on screen and not just seen as sad. Disability who resembles mine (well I got hunchback if notredam for that… oh wait, he is totally abused, very nice for you feeling worthy of love with a scoliosis /s), happy disabled people who can’t do everything on their own, anti-ableist ideas and ideology, and peaks into the life of disabled people from the lense of: wow, assistance is given, disability aids are great and we have so many of them and here they are, and well some things suck sich could be changed (like making hospitals that much to endure with long waiting times and them generally not seen as place for life quality, fun and integrating them more into all other social things…. Maybe even community places (of course depends on what type of hospital)… but just places which have a place in life and not sad places you want to avoid for all reasons.

@@Alalea17 Yeah, I agree. I'm disabled and I just don't see Fizz as disabled. His robotic arms and legs don't seem to have any drawbacks and I didn't fully realise he's disabled until the end of last episode. I think he falls under the trope of characters who have powers/tech that makes their disability practicly nonexistant.
HOWEVER we didn't see much of him yet and they still have a lot of episodes to explore this aspect of his character. Something small like him doing some sort of adjustments to his prostetics, making sure they work right (I'm not an amputee, I don't know how to take care of a prostetic) But yeah seeing these small things is enought for me seeing as he's not a main character.
Also, his interactions with the deaf/mute kid are SOOO sweet.

There is something so wonderful about having a person in the cast who genuinely feels like he’s living in hell. Like Fizz is afraid of the violent nature of people not really being much of a fighter. He feels uncomfortable with some overtly sexual things related to him. Having a sensitive soul in a desensitized environment is honestly awesome.
Ya the only times he's sexual is with Ozzy and that because there in a loving relationship.
I never expected Ozzy to be one of the most wholesome characters in the show.

I wouldn't say any of these characters are wholesome. They all have wholesome moments, but they're demons and act as such. Blitzo kills humans, Ozzie shamed the hell out of M&M and Stolas/Blitzo for being loving instead of lustful, even Millie and Moxie are evil murderers by our standards. Don't get so wrapped up in the trees that you miss the forest.
The fact that fizzarolis personality is nothing like his robot version is a great detail in the series.
If anything it seems the Robo-Fizzi's AI personality seems to be based on more of Mammon's rather Fizz.

I think it’s because the robot personality is designed to cater to the owner instead of being based on Fizz.
Based on his stage persona that Mammon wants as opposed to who Fizz really is.
He’s a bit abrasive and naughty but he’s a fairly gentle sort at heart. But that’s not what Mammon or his buyers want. They want that naughty hyperactive clown that will still do whatever the hell they want for them.

At first, I was surprised that Mammon didn't get a musical number of his own the way Ozzie and Bee got 'House of Asmodeus' and 'Cotton Candy,' but it makes sense with this depiction. Mammon doesn't have talent; he exploits it.
I guess 2 Minutes Notice would count since it points out his abusive behaviour?
If Mam had a song, I would have assumed it was something like what the Glam sisters sung. But our biggest hints to reveal that he wasn’t an entertainer came the moment we meet him. He doesn’t reveal himself in silhouette to tease his arrival which shows his lack of showmanship, he’s holding a guitar but doesn’t actually use it, and his hold ‘performance’ is just all big and loud flashes. That’s why he needed Fizz, to do his job of luring people to sin. Or in this case, make it easier or Mam himself to sin.

I literally love the scene where Fizz interacts with the deaf imp kid in ASL. This is so heart warming to see, even if I'm not deaf myself. I bet he learned it in the past.
On top of that it's fairly accurate which is really hard to animate with all the quick gestures. The fact they went out of their way to actually learn ASL for it instead of doing random hand signals is amazing!
True, as a hearing teenager, i want to learn ASL so I can communicate with people in the future because you never know if you’re gonna run into a deaf person who struggles to lip read.

Given what we've seen of his past life and what we can assume, I can sort of understand why. Unlike Fizz who has been loved and appreciated (and exploited), Blitz didn't have many around him who gave him that kind of affection early on and the one that did, likely his mom, is gone; sure he had Fizz too but we know someone, probably his dad, ruined that for them.

Back when The Little Mermaid was a TV series after the first movie, they had a mermaid named Gabriella that used sign language, and an octopus translated for her.
I'm happy proper sign language is used here as well. Been a while since I've seen sign language used at all in an animated show.
