Bill this is one job I dread doing every time but I'm still just using the pry bars. The front Zero turn tires I tried to change one out and ended up taking to mower shop it wore me out! 😢 This is definitely the answer for them small wheels👍🏾
I used to use tire irons too, but it was always a pain in the... The cost of having others do it made me buy this last time, and after I got good at it, changing a tire is almost too easy.
I go between WD40, soapy water, and whatever oil is in the front, depending on how tough they are acting that day. A grease gun would make it easy, but messy. 👍
@@GuysPlayingWithTools All of my stuff would stand up by themselves. I was in it continually, all day, every day until I ended up at the crusher and got introduced to dry cabs!. My daughter was on a holiday float pulled by a diesel van. She was 4 or 5. She's 32 now. A lady asked her if the fumes were bothering her and she grinned big and said' Smells just like my daddy'. @@lewiemcneely9143 I try to avoid the heat as much as possible. It's not easy in Texas but I manage 🙂 One of the ways I do it is to do all my videos before sunrise, then wait until the sun comes up and do the outside parts first thing in the morning.
Bill some of those small tubeless tires can be a real bear to get to bead up without a good air source. Ive had to use ratchet straps around the tire and still hard to get aired up. Alot of it is how the tires were shipped! 👍🇺🇲
@rogermcdonald1607 I do the same. 3 out of 4 went easy, but the 4th just wouldn't bead up, so I took the ultimate shortcut. I was going anyway for new van tires 🙂
You likely know this one but for beads that are tough to set I take a ratchet strap around the center and mush it to push toward the bead and some time have to ignite some ether ....not the right way but gets it done
We think alike, I usually do exactly that and even have a couple of videos doing it. I am going to get an air cannon for the next one, though. I keep saying I want one, and I am just waiting for an excuse. 😁
I would burn the place down 🙄 I went out last weekend and bought a bead blaster, I tend to work on a lot of minibikes and go karts during the cooler months, and it will cone in handy. 👍
I got it because I got tired of always paying to have go kart and minibike tires put on. It took a while to get good at it but I almost look like I know what I am doing when I pop tires on and off now. LOL

Welcome to Bill's tire shop 😂 glad you are getting better at this job at changing tires
I am not paying others to do them, that's LOT better. 🙂
@@GuysPlayingWithTools save the money 🤑 by doing that your self 👍💸💵 Bill
@@robertmailhos8159 That's what the channel is about 👍
@@GuysPlayingWithTools you got that right 👍
Does the job.👍
@@MinibikeAbe-89 Once you learn it, it's pretty great for little tires 🙂
All wheel dig now. Glad you had Aaron. I had a vice and a couple of tire spoons and GREASE for the bead. GUN grease. Happy weekend, Pal!

@lewiemcneely9143 We all are. I clean up 2 or 3 times per video. Sometimes even have to change clothes 🙄😅

I have half the tire unit lol i have the balancer and weights. Great one bill.
If you were my neighbor, we would have what we need for a small tire business. 🤣
I've been using a HF small tire changer for several years, it comes in very handy.
That tire probably reminded Renaldo of a 🍩.
Maybe, now that you made me think about it, I want doughnuts 🍩

LoL Bill, welcome to our club buddy.
Sorry about that Big Son's. 🤣🤣

To get the tire to seat, spray quick start into the tire's void, keep fingers clear and ignite it with a lighter.

I could have used one of those tire changers the other day I had a flat, had to take it to the shop.

How many bruised knuckles did you get learning to work the tyre changer ? Handy bit of kit
More than one, it's part muscle, part skill. I had only used tire irons before I got it, it's a ton easier I've you get the hang of it
