No one seems to notice in the last chorus, just after they sing "oh yeah", burried under the wall of sound you hear "YEAAAHH!" a whole octave higher. Amazing. Listen out for it!
Björn and Benny got the inspiration to this song after they had heard Rock your baby from George McCrae. At the beginning, Stiggan Andersson, their manager wrote some of the lyrics, but after some time, Björn was the one to write them. He was never happy, but said in an interview; "somebody had to write the dam lyrics!" In the end, he became really good at it, too.
How very nice of you that u did some research and even kept notes of our previous comments on them!It Shows respect to your viewrs.Thank you that was such a surprsising reaction.

@thebops4180 I didn't mention a lot of ABBA facts more important too like the ABBA Museum the ABBA Party, the movies Mamma Mia 1 & 2 the Voyage Concerts, etc
The guys sing too, mostly the backing vocals, but Björn (bj-earn) has a few songs that he sings lead, "Does your mother know" is one example. I can't say if Benny have sung lead ever, or if he did something together with Björn, maybe in the early 70's...
Check out ABBA's song / video for "Does Your Mother Know." Bjorn does the lead vocal on that one, and the women do backup. There's a few other songs that the guys do the lead on, but I think that was the biggest one.
Yes, pronounced as Ang ' netta. Björn-(the guitarist, also ex-husband to the blonde) is lead vocal on a few of the songs like: Rock me / Does your mother know / Why did it have to be me / Crazy world etc. Björn wrote the lyrics two weeks after their divorce was finalized in 1980 and Benny-(piano player) wrote the music.
@@carolynsanders3185 I know the song was released in 1976 from the "Arrival Album" Who stated otherwise ?? I know exactly when every single song of theirs was written and released and "Dancing Queen" was written in 1975 and released with the album in August 1976. Fernando was released early that year as a single as it didn't appear on the album.
Checked it.... Benny was lead on one song "Suzy-Hang-Around", and it was '74. Also, on "Honey Honey", they switch between the girls and Björn, there might be more such tracks that I don't recall 🤪🤘
That was John Travolta in the movie Saturday night fever. Check out the songs Fernando and Knowing Me Knowing You by Abba to hear the brunette singer Frida sing lead.
@@matthewrandom4523 Yes indeed!Abba proved to be a uniting bond for everyone!Their army of fans consists of all kind of people. From gay people and classical music lovers to metalheads and punks who are even closet lovers of their legacy. It's a meeting point.
Hi Jay! You mentioned singing together after a break-up, you need to check out Fleetwood Mac doing "Silver Spring" live from "The Dance". Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham will give you chills! It is one of the best performances out there
ABBA is MAGIC and LEGEND..!! ABBA FOREVER...!!❤❤❤

I heard it! Sounds like Agnetha.
@@carolynsanders3185Yes, definitely.
Nobody can do as ABBA did.

I had to rewrite everything I learned about them because I lost my notes 😭 ABBA fans are some beautiful people, I tell ya!

Only the Beatles have sold more records than ABBA. That’s how huge they were and still are!

Fun fact: Dancing Queen is actually a hard song to sing, the reason is that it spans 2 octaves, E3 to D5, and not everyone can keep up with that. 🤯😎
🅰️ Agnetha, blond singer
🅱️ Björn, guitar, songwriter
🅱️ Benny, piano, songwriter
🅰️ Anni-Frid (aka Frida) brunnete singer
BEST ⭐ POP ⭐ BAND ⭐ EVER!
🙏More! Take care ✌️
Greetings ❤ from Chile 🇨🇱🤗👍
Remember that ABBA is the iconic Swedish pop quartet, the best, most versatile and most important of the 70s, in the post BEATLES decade (the revolutionary group of the 60s)
ABBA, as in its time BEATLES, was a musical and cultural phenomenon, and its legacy lives on
remember that ABBA is an acrostic with initials of their first names; initialy They was two couples:
A- Agnetha (blonde lead vocal) &
B- Björn (guitarist and songwriter)
B- Benny (pianist and songwriter) &
A- Anni Frid (brunette lead vocal)
(both couples separated before the breakup of the group in 1982)
"Dancing Queen" (1976) is a beautiful song, which shines in the loftiness of its vocal harmonies
the blonde singer Agnetha is soprano voice,
the brunette singer Frida is mezzo soprano voice,
and blending together made the famous and fantastic 'third voice of ABBA'
And the music is bright and enveloping, from the initial chord it introduces you into the atmosphere of the disco and invites you to dance
English public has voted it as one of the songs they want to hear the most, because of the feeling of joy and energy it gives them (another is "Don't stop me now" by Queen)
And in 2015 "Dancing Queen" was included in the Hall of Fame of Rock and Roll music
ABBA recording between 1972/1982, have a wonderful series of more than 20 worldwide hits (and also 50 another great songs), included nine #1 in UK:
Waterloo
Mamma Mia
Fernando
Dancing Queen
Knowing me knowing you
The name of the game
Take a chance on me
The winner takes it all
Super trouper
And after more than 35 years ABBA return to studio in 2017 and recording a full new album "Voyage" between 2017/2021 released in November 2021 and is a worldwide succes
ABBA begin to be famous in 1974, when They won the Eurovision Song Contest in UK with their iconic song "Waterloo"
Last April 2024 was their 50th anniversary and Eurovisión gives a tribute to ABBA and Waterloo
My suggestion Is to react the live perfomance of ABBA at Eurovisión in Brighton UK 1974
I hope to see more reactions to ABBA
GOD bless you
