I was born in 1993, but my mom, may she rest in peace, brought me up on 80's Rock. Dokken were her favorite. But I remember her showing me this, as she had it on VHS recorded. When I first saw this, I was like "WHOA!" I love your channel Emily!
I knew you would love this channel, and your mom was a beautiful person inside and out. I miss her so much. But you are so much like your mom, and that is a great thing!
To confirm , even his midrange vocal jumps being that clpse the microphone 🎤 shows major control. Pro tactics. Sang baritone choir but this ability to control is incredible. 👏👏👏👏
Hi Emily. I love this. A reaction video. I hope you do more. You are good at it. I don't sing, so reaction videos give me a lot of insite and techniques I never knew about. I've never seen this til now. Like you. I say wow! What a voice. A naturally talented born singer. Thanks for sharing.
Someone may have already said this, chewing gum is to help his mouth from going dry. That being said I have loved these guys for 30+ years. Geoff Tate of Queensryche is anther amazing vocalist.
Great video Emily ! I remember this performance, and it was amazing! I wanted to ask you, I know you love the 80's Rock bands, and you are an awesome guitarist. Do you like 60's and 70's Rock also? Last night I saw The Doobie Brothers with opening Steve Winwood. These guys are all in their mid 70's and they were just amazing! No lip singing or backing Tracks with these guys. Just all pure talent. That was my 4th time seeing The Doobie Brothers, and first time seeing Steve Winwood. If you do like Rock from those genres also, I highly suggest " Blind Faith's" album. It's Steve Winwood singing and Eric Clapton on guitar. Amazing guitar work which I think you would like. Have a great night Emily, and best wishes always to you and family! You rock! 😃🤘🤘
@@guitarbyemily Awesome! Me too! The 80's were my teens years and the best times of my life. Big hair, cool clothes, the concerts ( I saw them all!) and just being out with friends. The mall in my home town back then was all Rockers hanging out, and never any problems at all. Just people laughing and listening to the music we loved. It really was a special time. Everything they said over the years that could never be built, has. Hopefully they invent a time machine so we can all back and experience that time again. You would have loved it Emily, it really was a special time. 😃🤘🤘
A glam metal gem album is by Vain called no respect, also the song itself is amazing you should check it out. Forever young by tyketto and pretender by cry wolf are both underrated 80s gems you should check out.
You should check out QUEENSRYCH the song is called TAKE HOLD OF THE FLAME it's live from Tokyo watch this video only because it is the best version of the song the singer Geoff Tate has range like Miljenko check him out and see for your self
Check out Queensryche's Live In Tokyo version of Take Hold Of The Flame! Geoff Tate at his finest! Sorry, but not a fan of this guy's voice and style. Singing/shrieking in a super high register just to do it when another approach would be musically more appealing, is not what I'm into. Just my opinion. Ciao, Paul in Sicily
What song should I do next???
"Heaven" by Warrant
Bitter pill by warrant
I still love you, kiss MTV unplugged
"Stars" by Hear 'n Aid
@@gp01gt I will never forget that! Amazing song and video.
Everybody loves Eileen ❤️
Can't stop me loving you

The incomparable, Miljenko Matejevic. There are no words!
The performance in this is literally perfection.

Great job! Clearly one of the best if not the best vocalist of his time.

Sang baritone choir but this ability to control is incredible. 👏👏👏👏
Agreed!! 🙌🙌
He’s not just showing off. He sings what serves the song and his range and power helps and informs the song and the performance.
Brilliant singer.
I agree!
Agree 1,000%

Mili is a goat. If you can find Sheila from the same performance. It's absolutely mind blowing!
Sammy Hagar and Sebastian Bach in the late 80's and 90's, but this guy is another level.

NIGHTWISH love ghost score live at wacken 2013
Listen to the Young Guns 2 soundtrack that Jon Bon Jovi did. There’s some great songs on there that show his range. Especially the song Santa Fe.
I love that movie and soundtrack:)
