My sisters were super into Twilight when we were younger and had a life-sized Edward cardboard cutout and my dad used it to scare the shit outta my mom and older sisters so I totally get it XD
Jacob literally had a crush on a baby. Yes, they grew up fast but they’d never get the years of maturity of growing up. AKA: Jacob has crush on vampire that acts really immature. (Maybe even toddler immaturity) That and the fact that Edward and Bella are the same thing.
Look, Edward is the dragon loli, even if he is "actually a 100+ yo vampire" he is physically and mentally 17, and renesmee's case is kjnda like dog years, at age 7 she is in fact a fully grown adult, she doesn't have as much life experience, but her brain development is the equivalent of an adult
Also werewolves dont control the imprinting and I'm pretty sure it's mentioned that they're loyal to the person they imprint one to the point renesmee could basically enslave jacob and he couldn't do anything about it
I like how people gloss over how Jacob repeatedly explained how imprinting works through out the movie series... Yet people are actin like this mf had an actual CHOICE?! Imprinting is done against your will. They're forced to be subservient and loyal to whom ever fate decides to fuck them over with. If anything HE is the victim. She's literally going to outlive him. She is already of an adult age in mind by the end of the movie. I mean she was having full on telepathic conversations as a BABY. If that doesn't tell you how rapidly she is maturing? I don't know what to tell you. If you're going to be mad about something like this can we all be mad at Edward as well?? Seriously.. He's an emotionally/psycholoically/physically abusive, gaslighting, man handling, emotionally negligent, stalking, grooming, and controlling partner. Not to mention he's old as all hell. What the hell is he doing thirsting after a teenager for?? Stalking her around town? Breaking into her house to watch her sleep?? Throwing her around like a rag doll despite "loving" her and convincing her it was her fault or doing the "poor me I am a vampire/filth, you should leave me" gaslighting routine. EDWARD = True Villain! Change my mind.
@@SuperUmizoomi Just because she looks older doesn't mean she is. Growing older means gaining knowledge, yes, but also gaining experience. Psychologically, realistically, she should be an absolute mess. Her mind needs to go through physical development which is influenced by her experiences and her _growing up._ Just because she _looks_ like an adult doesn't mean she is one. Bella/Edward is a different thing. Edward is psychologically 17 because he was turned at 17 and just stopped aging. Yes, he gained more experience and is thus technically _older_ than Bella by quite a large margin. However, just like treating Edward like he's actually 100 would be wrong (He's neither emotionally stable enough nor psychologically mature enough for that), treating Renessme like an adult when she's, like, 10 months is also bad. Bella and Edward are ~similar and could ethically be together. I'm not Team Edward. I'm actually Team No one. Edward and Jacob are just not chill for her. Alice sounds pretty cool, but she's in a relationship already.
didnt jacob explain that it wasnt a crush but like more of a “i will be loyal to this person” or was i misinformed bc if he actually had a crush on a baby i am no longer watching twilight with my mom
The actual 2008 review at 2:50 actually made me tear up a bit because the girl who wrote that at the time was genuinely so excited about the movie and you can tell that it gave her so much joy. It’s fun hating on a bad movie but I can’t stand people who hate on or make fun of people who enjoyed it… especially if they’re kids.
“Are you on team Edward or team Jacob?” I am team Alice. Alice was checking Bella out throughout the entire series(at least the first three movies I haven’t seen the fourth or fifth yet) “Oh you smell nice” Alice was the first to Bella’s side when she was being turned in the first movie Alice got a gift for Bella and looked into the future to make sure she would like it Bella didn’t attempt to email anyone else in the family, just Alice. Alice didn’t even care that Bella supposedly was dead, as soon as she figured out Bella was going to jump off a cliff her ass was driving back home. What was Edward doing? Watching. What was Alice doing? Driving and putting in the all time effort We thought the choice was “stay with Jacob or save Edward” but it was actually “stay with Jacob or go to Rome with the hot vampire lady known as Alice” Alice knew exactly what time Edward was going to reveal himself, and there’s no way in hell she didn’t slow down ever so slightly, or at least contemplate it She looked into the future, saw what was going to happen, knew where the clock tower was and said “maybe if I send Bella on her own, she won’t find him, and while I’ll be sad that my brother is dead, I get to swoop in and be her new gf” And when Bella did save Edward and the whole vampire council thing showed up, Alice came in like “yo I see you about to sacrifice yourself, let me show that I’m romantic too” Alice and Bella exchanged “I love you” glances in the elevator on the way to their supposed dooms When Edward just watched and said “no Bella” as Bella was about to sacrifice herself, Alice offered to create a future where she got to live with Bella forever Literally She even said that she would be the one to turn Bella Edward didn’t want Bella to be a vampire because everyone in that family knew Bella and Alice were having an unspoken attraction, and he knew Bella would eventually dump his ass for his sister When that one guy was going to try to read Bella’s mind, the look she had was “please don’t tell him I’m in love with his sister” I know he can’t actually read her mind But I like to imagine That he could And that he’s an ally And he just pretended he couldn’t Alice’s cover for Bella in the third movie was “everyone is on vacation, she’s spending the night at my place” Charlie likes her Jasper was literally manipulated and used in his origin story Jasper is Alice’s beard None of ya’ll can prove me wrong Team Alice is the only correct answer and I will stand by this statement until I die.
So you're a YA novelist and you have an odd-man-out in your love triangle storyline. Do you: A: Have the OMO move on with his life? B: Shoehorn in a consolation love interest in the last few chapters? C: BABY LOVE
Y'know back in the day I through that Twilight were the most horrible romance movies ever, but having since then experienced Fifty Shades of Grey I changed my mind. Like don't get me wrong, the movies are still not great, but they're fun in their melodrama and their weirdness.
I am ashamed to say that my mom was into this and i grew up being told in that your either team Jacob or chaos will happen. I am team grave honestly Bella deserved the grave after manipulating 2 monster dudes that were simps and doing more… Like BRO
11:36 This would definitely be enhanced by a movie. Just that line in a book might not be that spectacular, but that delivery of it is the best thing I have ever heard.
WHY DO WE NOT TALK MORE ABOUT MICHAEL SHEEN???? this man was the absolute best thing about new moon! mans really just said fuck it, imma about to up this teen flick to acting prowess and extreme gender envy. also, can we shut up about the laugh? i felt it was very in character for aro, the man is clearly mad in some capacity, literally lived for thousands of year plus all the mind fuck that comes with seeing people's entire lives in one touch. that laugh was millennia of insanity finally bursting up.
Hey man, I had my cringeu Twilight phase in middle school and have only an ironic appreciation for it now, but you know what appreciation is 100% not ironic? Appreciation for the goddamn soundtracks in these movies, like they shaped a significant portion of my musical tastes and I am okay with that because the shit slaps
Hot take: Charlie was the best part of these movies. In the books he was still pretty great, but I thoroughly enjoyed these more when he was onscreen than not. Side note I didn't watch these movies of my own free will, my mom was like "Want the quintessential teenage experience? You have no choice." I did enjoy the books though
Yeah people say the books are just as bad as the movies but while not great they're definitely still better I read the whole series twice but I still can't sit through a movie
True story we only in the last year or so watched these movies and "Michael sheen vampire laugh" is now a running gag in our house. I can't even think about it without grinning like an idiot
alright im coming in with a hot take the war between Team Edward and Team Jacob is irrelevant the only ship that matters in the Twilight series is Carlisle/Charlie
My vote is for Charlie. I like them human and rugged. Idk why Bella tries to infantalize him and cook to show "what a good daughter she is" he managed to survive before she showed up.
Me and my big sister watched the entire Saga in one sitting when she stayed with us on the first quarantine. Jesus christ it was horrendous, but now it has a special place in my heart.😌
I just wanna know why the Cullens felt the need to keep going to high school over and over again when they look like adults. Even if they look like high schoolers they could just do homeschool and provide a “certificate” to stay certified. Also some of them were like slightly older than hs age when they turned if i remember correctly so again why? Also why can’t they just live in a big city instead of a town and ppl with would notice them less. Unless they need the forest to hunt then I guess that makes sense lol
i feel like this would all make so much more sense if they were at uni, they all old & they could keep getting different degrees edit : Carlisle could have been a part time teacher at uni, this is a good idea im looking to see if anyone made a fanfic but with them all at uni rn
I remember when my friends and I were so obsessed with these movies that we'd literally assign each of us a role and pretend to be them. We had a literal group chat with our class mates , I'm crying😭 I was Rosalie tho, so I'm not complaining 😂
Are we not gonna talk about how all of the best characters getting be-headed was the most traumatic thing most of us will ever witness? I was literally inconsolable. I like, was screaming and crying and throwing stuff. Because Carlisle, Jasper, Leah, and Seth dying. Yeah…..that just wasn’t right. And tie the pure drama of finding out it was just Alice’s vision? Pure gold. ❤️
As Someone Who Never Has Seen Any Twilight Movie The Quote “You Nicknamed My Daughter After The Loch Ness Monster” With No Context Is The Funnies Shit Ever 😂
0:36 You know, good point. I'm going to be thinking about that for a while. It's been years upon years since I've read the books, but as I recall she didn't have much of a reaction there either.
I love how the love triangle in Twilight was solved by giving Jacob a consolation baby. Like not Jacob just respecting Bella's wishes and trying to grow as a person 😂
I fully agree with the Team Alice sentiment. Screw Midnight Sun, I want the prequel/spinoff/whatever that centers around the chaotic good that is Alice Cullen! And I suddenly realized, Alice is one short step away from being Pinkie Pie from MLP:FiM
Remember, jacob inprinting on a baby is really messed up but not for him, not only he had no choice but the idea really freaked him out Its really messed up for the author, she chose to write it that way, its 100% on her.
Everyone has that one movie, book, tv show, or series that they can fully admit isn't good and will make fun of it, but still have that desire to revisit it and enjoy it... Twilight is mine.
I will never forget watching the first movie with my stepmom and my aunt and cousin, because we treated it like a comedy and spent the entire movie laughing our heads off at the jokes and quotes we made about it. 10 out of 10 viewing experience.
What makes the whole ‘Jacob imprints on a baby’ creepier is that he literally had no choice. The entire time Bella with preg with Rigatoni, Jacob hated her and wanted her gone. After Bella gave birth and Edward tried to ask Jacob to hold Rollingpin, Jacob just told him to “throw it out the window.” Just a few moments before Jacob imprints, he went into that room with every intention of killing Roblox for ‘killing’ Bella. Jacob is literally her slave. He’ll do and say anything she wants him to; he’s imprinted, he doesn’t have a choice.
I was listening to a playlist on TH-cam and I decided to put it in my spotify playlist so l looked it up and I saw twilight on the album cover. The song I had been listening to for about two weeks at that point was from twilight. I wouldn't have given it a chance if I knew what it was from the beginning, but I didn't give a damn at that point because it was a genuinely good song. I hope they play roslin at my funeral or else I'm not coming
My aunt loves these movies and books and when I took an interest in the movie poster puzzle she had in her room, she decided that we'll watch all of the 4 movie that was out and I loved it (I was like 10 at the time) and we even went to see the last one in the theater. When I got home I've put the theme song on in youtube and cried in silence, because the saga was over and I was feeling emotional as hell. Years later I realised how wierd and funny these movies are. Mostly the first 2 are hilarious. And the parody 'Vampires Sucks' is a masterpiece! Now I love these ironically xD
I think we need to talk more about the absolute horror any reasonable person would experience in Jacob's situation. Like what the fuck I'm attracted to a baby?!!
God it is the funniest thing that Edwards first reaction to his future wife and mother of his child is to cover his nose like he just smelt something rancid and gag

Edward's great suicide plan involved stepping into the sun and sparkling. Would your first thought be "Look! A vampire!!", or "Hmm a street artist covered in glitter."?
During lockdown I re-watched half the first one before realising I could be doing *literally* anything else with my life, but I have also had the "Twilight" fire within me fueled by this video and I'm itching to go watch them
The only thing I remembered about this saga was my cousin showed me a scene from Breaking Dawn part 1 when I was a literal preschooler and it traumatized me enough to make me hate the idea of having children
I think that part gets overshadowed because the only context movie watchers get for imprinting is in a romantic context. And in the books, that seems to be the end goal of the imprinting relationships shown, even implying that it will happen between one of Jacob's pack mates and a small child he hangs around with. So yeah, the concept of familial/parental love gets forgotten. As it does throughout the series.
with all due respect to those who do not like twilight and those who do, the twilight baseball scene is cinematic poetry and wonderfully done. one of my all time favorite scenes in any movie ever😊
This video inspired me to watch the twilight films bc I’m sick and bored but literally it feels like time passes by 90% slower when I watch them and so now I’m still sick and bored but twilight is on at least
My mum showed me these movies and I was CACKLING the entire time, my dad had to tell me to stop laughing cause it wasn't a comedy, I will still laugh, because that running in the forest will never not be funny.
The most joy I experienced from twilight and the subsequent renaissance was catching Robert’s barely concealed contempt and his otherwise beautifully, weird personality that very much did not reflect any aspect of the books, Kristen’s budding, heaven-blessed gayness, and the fun himbo energy that Kellan brought. That arm wrestling scene was 100% a reenactment of the night my drunk lesbian ass and my sweet himbo friend decided to arm wrestle.
Dammit, I missed this. I put the video on beforehand so that I'd hear when the countdown starts but then I went AFK to do the dishes and completely missed this DXD Welp, better late than never!
Besides the really badly written interpersonal relationships, the plot line that made even 8year old want to smack my head into the wall and the fact that got everything wrong about vampires you probably could to the point at which I refuse to call them that... The worse part about this movie is how one.. one fucking fanfic about it was enough to horribly miss educate Most of the world about one of the most supporting and loving communitys, that I was lucky enough to be a part of growing up, out there to the point where we are just seen as a group of horrible/abusing/violent people and helpless gaslight once/people willing to do anything for money, causing people just like that to appear and making it more and more difficult find actual members of the scene
I used to be a twihard in my teen years and now am able to see the series for its flaws though the movies are still entertaining to watch from time to time . Those soundtracks still hold up well years later too ! And these reviews 😂😂😂😂
My (9th grade) English teacher unironically loves Twilight. We turn our stuff into the "Edward" box, she has a life-size cardboard cutout of Edward, posters all over the walls. I do not trust her to be my English teacher. Isn't that series, I dunno, *infamous for bad writing?*
10:35 in the books, Quil V Ateara (one of Jake's best friends, and part of the pack) imprints on a 4 year old toddler called Claire. Just smeyer things~
When I was in secondary school I took my little brothers to see the first movie at my school's movie night and quite honestly the best part was when the dvd kept skipping. How could they make a movie with god damn vampires and werewolves so utterly boring. Even the fight scenes were mostly posing. It still baffles me that there were people out there that un-ironically enjoyed it. I get that everyone has different tastes but it was genuinely painful to watch. I know that this shouldn't annoy me to this extent but it does. It is maddening.
2:33 how am I just hearing about this blasphemy now?!? Why did Alice let her walk out of the house like this?!? this is why the book is always better smh
I remember being a young teen, like 13 or something, and my mom showed me New Moon because she didn’t understand why girls my age liked it and wanted to see if I could explain. I could not, because I didn’t like it.

She's the only character in the entire thing I like

The actual 2008 review at 2:50 actually made me tear up a bit because the girl who wrote that at the time was genuinely so excited about the movie and you can tell that it gave her so much joy. It’s fun hating on a bad movie but I can’t stand people who hate on or make fun of people who enjoyed it… especially if they’re kids.
“Are you on team Edward or team Jacob?”
I am team Alice. Alice was checking Bella out throughout the entire series(at least the first three movies I haven’t seen the fourth or fifth yet)
“Oh you smell nice”
Alice was the first to Bella’s side when she was being turned in the first movie
Alice got a gift for Bella and looked into the future to make sure she would like it
Bella didn’t attempt to email anyone else in the family, just Alice.
Alice didn’t even care that Bella supposedly was dead, as soon as she figured out Bella was going to jump off a cliff her ass was driving back home. What was Edward doing? Watching. What was Alice doing? Driving and putting in the all time effort
We thought the choice was “stay with Jacob or save Edward” but it was actually “stay with Jacob or go to Rome with the hot vampire lady known as Alice”
Alice knew exactly what time Edward was going to reveal himself, and there’s no way in hell she didn’t slow down ever so slightly, or at least contemplate it
She looked into the future, saw what was going to happen, knew where the clock tower was and said “maybe if I send Bella on her own, she won’t find him, and while I’ll be sad that my brother is dead, I get to swoop in and be her new gf”
And when Bella did save Edward and the whole vampire council thing showed up, Alice came in like “yo I see you about to sacrifice yourself, let me show that I’m romantic too”
Alice and Bella exchanged “I love you” glances in the elevator on the way to their supposed dooms
When Edward just watched and said “no Bella” as Bella was about to sacrifice herself, Alice offered to create a future where she got to live with Bella forever
Literally
She even said that she would be the one to turn Bella
Edward didn’t want Bella to be a vampire because everyone in that family knew Bella and Alice were having an unspoken attraction, and he knew Bella would eventually dump his ass for his sister
When that one guy was going to try to read Bella’s mind, the look she had was “please don’t tell him I’m in love with his sister”
I know he can’t actually read her mind
But I like to imagine
That he could
And that he’s an ally
And he just pretended he couldn’t
Alice’s cover for Bella in the third movie was “everyone is on vacation, she’s spending the night at my place”
Charlie likes her
Jasper was literally manipulated and used in his origin story
Jasper is Alice’s beard
None of ya’ll can prove me wrong
Team Alice is the only correct answer and I will stand by this statement until I die.
honestly didnt read the whole thing but i still agree and team alice is the best choice
@@deactivatedbcsomecommentsi2279 I’m on team Alice
But what about her and Jasper???
This is amazing
What does being Alice's beard mean?
Michael Sheen didn't have to go so hard for these movies but he did and we should all be forever grateful for that
This!
Fun fact: this was based partially off of a My Chemical Romance Fanfic and was originally supposed to have Gerard Way as Edward ( ゚▽゚)
Wait so Fifty Shades was a fanfic OF A FANFIC
Holy shi-
I can't imagine an alternative universe where Gerard Way ACTUALLY agreed to play as Edward, I'd pass away immediately
That would have been better than all of the books
365 Days is a fanfic of a fanfic of a fanfic
So you're a YA novelist and you have an odd-man-out in your love triangle storyline. Do you:
A: Have the OMO move on with his life?
B: Shoehorn in a consolation love interest in the last few chapters?
C: BABY LOVE
Him and Leah wouldn't have been awful
She could have just.....let Jacob be single. But there's also the poly bi throuple option! More books are doing that these days lmao.
Or, of course, you can go the chad route and have them turn out to actually just be asexual.
OMO
I was team Jacob until he imprinted himself onto renessmee.
But no one said I’m team Edward, because I’m not,I’m team Alice.
Y'know back in the day I through that Twilight were the most horrible romance movies ever, but having since then experienced Fifty Shades of Grey I changed my mind.
Like don't get me wrong, the movies are still not great, but they're fun in their melodrama and their weirdness.
that’s probably because fifty shades was originally a twilight fanfic
And after
At least Twilight isn't spreading misinformation about BDSM.
And 365 days 🤢🤮
This movie is a masterpiece compared to AFTER 😔
If a werewolf imprints on my daughter I'd not stop throwing hands until *he stopped moving*. Bella you are weak.
What is the imprinting thing?
I am ashamed to say that my mom was into this and i grew up being told in that your either team Jacob or chaos will happen. I am team grave honestly Bella deserved the grave after manipulating 2 monster dudes that were simps and doing more… Like BRO

11:36 This would definitely be enhanced by a movie. Just that line in a book might not be that spectacular, but that delivery of it is the best thing I have ever heard.
When I first watched it I felt like she was yelling at me,,, like I actually said "sorry" 😂
You just said everything I've ever wanted to say!
I didn't think anyone was insulting the laugh
I WAS SO UNAWARE THAT THE SAME GUY FROM GOOD OMENS WAS THE VOLTURI LEADER I CAN'T BREATHE
THANK YOU FOR THIS REVELATION
By the way, am I the only one who thinks Aro and Carlisle have bi vibes? I can vividly imagine them having a fling.
Twilight is the one of the reasons Michael Sheen became Aziraphale so like, this entire franchise is a necessary evil for me
Hey man, I had my cringeu Twilight phase in middle school and have only an ironic appreciation for it now, but you know what appreciation is 100% not ironic?
Also Charlie was great Carlisle too if Twilight did one thing right it was dad characters
True story we only in the last year or so watched these movies and "Michael sheen vampire laugh" is now a running gag in our house. I can't even think about it without grinning like an idiot
That one review has reminded me of the, "hold on tight, spider monkey" quote and now I am informing my therapist
alright im coming in with a hot take
the war between Team Edward and Team Jacob is irrelevant
the only ship that matters in the Twilight series is Carlisle/Charlie
OMG I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE THAT NOTICED-
I'm on team Alice tbh
My vote is for Charlie. I like them human and rugged. Idk why Bella tries to infantalize him and cook to show "what a good daughter she is" he managed to survive before she showed up.
What about Carlisle/Aro? They give me kinda scorned lovers vibes
Honesty both Edward and Jacob are extreme red flags
The window scene is a cinematic masterpiece
im so glad we all agree that jacob's imprinting storyline is the dumbest and worst thing
My younger sister was obsessed with this saga, and then she got into the 3rd hardest private school in America.
I meant 5th
More like the 3rd most expensive lol
As That Michael Old Guy Said,"Nice."
You know they were written bad when the "already married and in a fully committed relationship" Alice had more chemistry with Bella, then Edward 😅
Me and my big sister watched the entire Saga in one sitting when she stayed with us on the first quarantine. Jesus christ it was horrendous, but now it has a special place in my heart.😌
My mom is obsessed with these movies😭
Tell her she's a cool mom 😎

I just wanna know why the Cullens felt the need to keep going to high school over and over again when they look like adults. Even if they look like high schoolers they could just do homeschool and provide a “certificate” to stay certified. Also some of them were like slightly older than hs age when they turned if i remember correctly so again why? Also why can’t they just live in a big city instead of a town and ppl with would notice them less. Unless they need the forest to hunt then I guess that makes sense lol
i feel like this would all make so much more sense if they were at uni, they all old & they could keep getting different degrees
edit : Carlisle could have been a part time teacher at uni, this is a good idea im looking to see if anyone made a fanfic but with them all at uni rn
I remember when my friends and I were so obsessed with these movies that we'd literally assign each of us a role and pretend to be them. We had a literal group chat with our class mates , I'm crying😭
I was Rosalie tho, so I'm not complaining 😂
Neat ^_^
You had a little group of rpg, How cool!
Pure gold. ❤️
I don't like twilight and I hate the fourth film. But that was the best big end battle I ever have seen. I love the idea of it only being a vision
I remember watching the fourth film ONLY for that scene when I was a kid lol
Ok but imagine Charlie finding out the boy who had a crush on your daughter is now marrying your adopted grand daughter who ages to fast.
"It's like if the beach episode of an anime introduced the climax of the story too"

When you arrive at the 16-sec mark and almost had heart failure cause you thought you missed it
0:36 You know, good point.
It took me till two months ago to realize Jacob was fucking sharkboy I freaking screamed
Wait WHAT
Me and my siblings constantly reference that one line from the first movie
"Bella look! Issa worm!"
I fully agree with the Team Alice sentiment. Screw Midnight Sun, I want the prequel/spinoff/whatever that centers around the chaotic good that is Alice Cullen!
And I suddenly realized, Alice is one short step away from being Pinkie Pie from MLP:FiM
Until this showed up, I honestly forgot that Twilight was a thing-
Remember, jacob inprinting on a baby is really messed up but not for him, not only he had no choice but the idea really freaked him out
Its really messed up for the author, she chose to write it that way, its 100% on her.
as a twilight fan i find these reviews hilarious as f*ck💀
After Bella gave birth and Edward tried to ask Jacob to hold Rollingpin, Jacob just told him to “throw it out the window.”
Just a few moments before Jacob imprints, he went into that room with every intention of killing Roblox for ‘killing’ Bella.

I love this channel not because it creates a collection of non-bias reviews of overly popular underrated/overrated films and series in a totally monotone voice while displaying mug shots of the characters that are revered to in the review, no. It’s because joey played SUPERMASSIVE BLACK HOLE IN THE BACKGROUND OF ALL THE REVIEWS TO DO WITH THE BASEBALL SCENE!!! the editing, the attention to detail, the flashbacks 😻 I love this channel
The fact that my teacher my sighed in disappointment when i said i didn't see twilight is something I will never understand.

My sister is so obsessed with these movies that she forced me and her boyfriend to watch them. I’ve never felt so uncomfortably awkward in my life…
Edward's great suicide plan involved stepping into the sun and sparkling. Would your first thought be "Look! A vampire!!", or "Hmm a street artist covered in glitter."?

Don't, it's suffering
The only thing I remembered about this saga was my cousin showed me a scene from Breaking Dawn part 1 when I was a literal preschooler and it traumatized me enough to make me hate the idea of having children
Yes, fall in love with a baby, thanks Meyer
Based on the ending of The Host, I'm thinking Stephanie Meyer has a DDLG fetish, and it keeps popping up in her books.
when Jacob imprinted on the baby, it seems everyone suddenly forgot what familial/parental love is
I think that part gets overshadowed because the only context movie watchers get for imprinting is in a romantic context. And in the books, that seems to be the end goal of the imprinting relationships shown, even implying that it will happen between one of Jacob's pack mates and a small child he hangs around with.
So yeah, the concept of familial/parental love gets forgotten. As it does throughout the series.

I’ve never seen past the first Twilight movie but the sequels sound so insane that I might have to watch them
This video inspired me to watch the twilight films bc I’m sick and bored but literally it feels like time passes by 90% slower when I watch them and so now I’m still sick and bored but twilight is on at least
I put the video on beforehand so that I'd hear when the countdown starts but then I went AFK to do the dishes and completely missed this DXD Welp, better late than never!

ok you convinced me, I'm going to watch the movies. I've only read books and don't remember a thing, it's going to be a ride
