You can find some of their adventures in "The Addams Family" and "Addams Family Values" films, where outsiders try to take advantage of them for their wealth. I saw a tumblr post the other day joking about the Addams renting out a room to college students and welcoming them into the family and teaching them all their hobbies, and i never wanted to see fanart or animations of something more in my life.

ik, i watched addams family values like a year ago and when debbie came on screen i was like "oh my god is that Sheila from shameless?" took me forever to make the connection that she also voiced jessie
The adams family are meant to be the total opposite of traditonal families.

I once asked my Mom what fictional characters she thought I resembled the most and she told me that I was like an odd fusion of Wednesday Addams from The Addams Family and Susie Bishop from Moonrise Kingdom.
My mom was correct because I don’t have any friends and I am a problem child.

I played Morticia for my drama groups The Addams Family musical and I can say that is so far the peak of my life.
Also, being the tallest person in my drama group and wearing character shoes made me stand out a lot 😅
Slay!!! Morticia is a tall woman and an icon, so you gotta stand out if you wanna play her and it sounds like you did, and you had a good time! :D

2 of my friends did both of those roles for our high school's performance, and they did awesome. I played one of the ancestors (the show's term for the ensemble).

I think that one was a TV movie or direct to video and that's why it didn't get as much exposure.

In Pennsylvania, we trick or treat 2 days before Halloween bc it is on a week day this year and my costume this year was morticia addams. Pretty much the best costume i pulled of In my 16 years of life🙂

Morticia's eyes almost always having this glow around them has me convinced that it's a homage to the black-and-white Dracula movie, as that effect happens when he hypnotizes someone. So, this could mean she has hypnotizing beauty - which I completely agree with.
