I'm here watching reviews over movies I never saw and comprehending them while having fun. And people lose their time getting maaaaa? God lord they need to call Barbie to help them out do something productive with that much free time!
My conclusion after watching these two part things, about the movies: -They were not some weird dream I had. -Barbie created Enemies to lovers -Ken was there, but never mattered -Lesbians.

I come from a background (and also generation I guess) where nobody has ever seen one. They certainly don't run this in theatres (they run other, terrible animated "fairytale" movies that generally don't sell merch and exist basically to exploit childish boredom and government grants), and I don't think the child channels run them either. So for me this is like exploring a highly exotic barbaric culture of cutesy girl movies :D
"Barbie A Mermaid Tale has the same plot as Aquaman but better" is now officially the debate I will start on Chrismas if I have to distract my extended family from criticising my life choices.

Watching this feels very soothing because it confirms those movies do exist and were weird like that and I didn’t dream them up while I was having a bad fever.
Same. I remember re-watching barbie and the magic of the Pegasus over and over again because I kept forgetting how to change movies out, but it feels like an old fever dream.
Barbie and the twelve dancing princesses is what got me into ballet, which I took for fourteen years and gave me depression, fucked up feet, and really good balance. Overall 10/10 would highly recommend.
Fun fact: when I was in Spanish class 9 years ago (native Swedish) my teacher just randomly asked if we knew what butterfly was in Spanish. Me being weird, just raised my hand and said what fist came to mind, mariposa. It was right, she asked how I knew, answered it was a title of a Barbie movie where they have butterfly wings. Pure random guessing. A classmate asked why me, a boy, had watched Barbie (they were 12, not so open minded). Answering I have a lot of free time and they are better than you think.

Some of my personal favorites that I've encountered: - Danny Phantom fans (aka the Phandom) decided to pull a move not seen since MLP:FIM and flesh out a random recurring background character to the point they not old had a name (Wes), but a full personality, motives, and family... except it didn't happen when the show was running, it happened this year. Yep. - The Invader Zim fandom's rendition of the Royalty AU trope all started because a popular artist decided to draw Zib in a waistcoat and their fanfic writing friend jokingly said that it made him "look like the noble you'd be forced to be with in an arranged marriage when you really love a peasant" (paraphrasing). By the way, both of these examples are very popular within the tumblr sides of their respective fandoms. And yes I can easily pull up the exact posts for these two if this ends up being a thing. And mind you, these are relatively old fandoms - sure still popular fandoms can pull up way stranger examples.

He's a character that comes from the Zimvoid Arc of the comics (Issues 47-50). It's a short storyline about alternate dimensional counterparts of the main cast (mostly Zim). Zib's identity is actually a MASSIVE spoiler, but due to a combination of the character being extremely popular; very few people outside the deep fandom knowing about the comics, nevermind reading them; and the fandom not being used to actual spoilers, nobody bothers even trying to hide him. Specifically, "Zib" is the in-universe nickname given to an alternate version of Dib who successfully captured Zim... but nobody cared after only a few days, which sent him down a chain of bad decisions. I think coffe cups from fairy secret feel more of a relief at being drinken (???) than pain. It's natural for them, I believe it's more like milking a cow. Undrinken (???) cups though, would feel uncomfortable or even in pain.

Weird suggestion: This might be a bit difficult since it'd likely take multiple posts to prove some of these, but I think a video on posts revealing the really weird origins for AUs/fanon would be fun. Some of my personal favorites that I've encountered:
- Danny Phantom fans (aka the Phandom) decided to pull a move not seen since MLP:FIM and flesh out a random recurring background character to the point they not old had a name (Wes), but a full personality, motives, and family... except it didn't happen when the show was running, it happened this year. Yep.
- The Invader Zim fandom's rendition of the Royalty AU trope all started because a popular artist decided to draw Zib in a waistcoat and their fanfic writing friend jokingly said that it made him "look like the noble you'd be forced to be with in an arranged marriage when you really love a peasant" (paraphrasing).
By the way, both of these examples are very popular within the tumblr sides of their respective fandoms. And yes I can easily pull up the exact posts for these two if this ends up being a thing. And mind you, these are relatively old fandoms - sure still popular fandoms can pull up way stranger examples.

Quick context before the posts: In case you don't know the Invader Zim fandom that well, "Zib" is NOT a typo. He's a character that comes from the Zimvoid Arc of the comics (Issues 47-50). It's a short storyline about alternate dimensional counterparts of the main cast (mostly Zim). Zib's identity is actually a MASSIVE spoiler, but due to a combination of the character being extremely popular; very few people outside the deep fandom knowing about the comics, nevermind reading them; and the fandom not being used to actual spoilers, nobody bothers even trying to hide him.
Specifically, "Zib" is the in-universe nickname given to an alternate version of Dib who successfully captured Zim... but nobody cared after only a few days, which sent him down a chain of bad decisions. The main one you'd need to know immediately is that he wiped Zim's personality off his pak (the backpack looking device irkens wear - you know how the gem of SU's Gem race works? That, but instead of a hologram, the body is a meat puppet and the core can parasitically take over another creature/machine to make a temporary new host body if it's detached from the original). This Dib then willingly attached it to the back of his head so he could gain the benefits of it, such as enhanced intelligence and being effectively immortal. Doing this mutates him into a human-irken hybrid abomination in the process - hence the nickname "Zib". Oh, also he's the main villain of that storyline. That's kind of important.

Also should clarify: the entire AU is just REALLY gay. There is ZADR (and later I think GATR, too) but given everyone's human in the Royalty AU, with Zim and Dib specifically being about the same age, that fixes the majority of the moral qualms people have with that ship, so it should be fine.
