Wow, you bought back memories. I went to a Presentation Convent for primary school here in Queensland Australia, and remember the devotion to Nano Nagle, something I had forgetten all about. It was so good of you to show us where she came from also my grandmother came from Cork and her father taught children under the 'hedge rows' as she used to tell me. Thank you
What a fascinating lady Sue. And what a beautifully kept cemetery .The coffin in the glass case was really unusual and I thought the water feature was really beautiful too.Everything was so well kept . Thank you for taking us on this adventure,to celebrate a wonderful woman’s life..Love n Light to you both 🥰
A very impressive woman and story indeed! Especially when women of the cloth or otherwise took care of everyone in need. On another level, a Mother Tere'sa. Hope you are well Sue.
Beautiful and inspiring lady! Yes, she would have been given the Nobel! This graveyard is gorgeous ❤. Love that you can touch her casket and say a prayer! This was great Sue. Thanks so much 💕
What a wonderful person she was thinking about the welfare of others. Sue bless you for all the respect you show for the dearly departed. All the best to the people of Ireland. Greetings from Connecticut.
Thank you Allan, I sure appreciate Nano Nagle, definitely now as an adult I feel she was an amazing woman, as a child being thought under the presentation nuns I didn't appreciate her like I should have
Never heard of her until now. I would love to kearn more about her amazing life. What an amazing woman.. thank you for sharing this story and for touching her coffin. I said a prayer as you touched her coffin as well ..what an amazing Catholic role model we should aspire to be like

I live in Sherborne, Dorset in England - Loved the History of this incredible lady Nano Nagle and all the good that she did with the poor children who some would grow up to remember her. Thank you for sharing!

I would love to touch her coffin and say a prayer of thanks for Nano and truly hope she is resting in peace Thanks for bringing us the story of Nano Sue. God bless xxx
Thank you for posting this. I've been watching your videos for a week or two but never expected to see one about Nano Nagle. I had the honor of being educated by the Sisters of the Presentation for twelve years and heard much about her. I didn't realize it at the time but this background has served me well my entire life and I realize how lucky I was to have had them in my life. Keep up the good work and God bless you. Regards from Massachusetts, USA!
Me too John I was thought by presentation sisters too, although there were only a few left then, I learned about her then but never really understood what an amazing lady she was
Oooohhhhh spooky...another great one. I missed this one but glad I got it....stones touch each other.. Bless her heart....she was like Mother Theresa...centuries early. God had her reward waiting. She served her Savior well.❤❤❤❤❤❤

Sue and GV- Thank you for taking us on this memorable field trip. I feel like I was with you. What a touching place for Nano Nagel. I feel honored to have experienced this place. I said several prayers. Thank you.
Hi Sue. That was a sweet video and a fitting tribute to Nano and the Presentation Sisters. I went to a Presentation College in Mountmellick, Co. Laois (1979 to 1984) and while most of the 'civilian' teachers were unimaginably awful with no idea of how to teach or engage a class, the Presentation Sisters were unfailingly kind and knowledgeable. I remember Sisters Borgia, Bernard, Patrick and Delores. They were quite ancient back in the Eighties but their legacy of teaching and helping us poor smelly oiks lives on in me and many others.
Hi Charlie, I suppose I played up on the nuns who thought me, maybe I took advantage of their kindness, but I know my Irish teacher Sr. Vera was such a kind hearted lady, even though I hated Irish and probably annoyed her, I never got in trouble I don't even remember her getting cross x x
@@SerenitySueGraveyards If the Catholic Church in Ireland had more Presentation Sisters and less PPs, I think it would have worked out better for everyone involved... To spend your life in the loving service of others as these sisters did and do, is a wonderful thing.
Another lovely video. Your explorations really take the viewer to the heart of the places being explored. What a beautiful resting place this graveyard is! Rest in peace all who are interred there.
I went to Elizabeth Seton High School [ all girls Catholic school] and I remember the sisters talking about Nano Nagel and now after seeing your video I can see how important this woman was. She did everything for the poor and the education she made sure girls and boys received gave these children a chance at life. Thank you for telling us about Nano Nagel. God bless her and you Sue.
