When the customer said I’m not looking to change. The advisor could have said. ( I totally understand Michael I’m not asking you to change and honestly I don’t think making a change would be in your best interest because I don’t know exactly what XYZ company is doing for you. But if you are willing to tell me what XYZ company is doing for you and I can show you what the company I represent can do better to maximize your experience would you be oppose to that?). Now you just spark curiosity. But it’s still 50/50 but at-least your chances are better than the way he handled it.
I like these examples of cold-caller very much. Maybe Sales Scripter could "certify" a company with this process. The cold-calls I am receiving are rarely (extremely) good and are few and far between. Very professional and down to earth make-sense content. A++

Just some advice, preface in the beginning of the video that the first call is what NOT to do before actually playing the call. I guarantee you lost a lot of views b/c people thought that was your example of a good call.
Actually, this salesperson continued to follow up with about 5 follow-up calls over a period of more than a year and it was the exact same and never got better. I don't think it was nerves or lack of experience - it was a lack of an approach or methodology.
