Hi, love your videos! I was wondering, how did you set this up? I am making my first digital brochure, and I am not sure which format to use. Thank so much!
Hi Angelo, I am always inspired by your tutorials, is there a place that you could potentially have all your interactive pieces, where I could experience them? I would Like to see the interactivity without having to download all the courses. ALSO if you know of a place where I can find other interactive PDFs that I can experience that would also help for inspiration. Thanks!
Hi Maria! All my interactive tutorials in InDesign are on TH-cam as a playlist or you can visit montilladesign.com/tutorials to find the long form versions of the lessons. Here, you will also find the files available for download.
hi, thanks for the videos i am new to InDesign, i just want to know is it possible to create a interactive Video magazine to publish as a html5. please let me know thank you.
Hello Angelo, I was wondering about the compatibility of the document if you convert to PDF. Will I be able to share it and keep the motions and everything when I convert? thanks you so much!
Hey there! Unfortunately, what I went over in this tutorial won't work for PDF Interactive. It is HTML-based meant for online publishing or EPub (Fixed Layout) to view in an e-reader.
Hi Angelo, I have been watching ur tut and I have seen many example which covering "Object states". I was wondering if u could do example using "Overlays". Infact I've use overlay quite a lot during DPS era but have not been using much in this new version for Fixed Layout. If u could give us some example using overlay would be great. Thanks
Hi Bryan. Your options are to Publish Online, export an EPub (Fixed Layout) or export the HTML5 package so you can add it to your site manually with code. This won't function in a PDF.
Hi there. You can try using Adobe Digital Editions for windows and android users. There are other e-readers out there so see which ones work best for you. Take care.
Pull object off the page and then double click the motion path (green arrow) and drag the arrow to where you want the animation to end. If you check out this lesson, I go over that topic: th-cam.com/video/8UCb9IYkrhc/w-d-xo.html
Hey Hector! Two main ways: Use the Publish Online tool, which uploads the project onto an Adobe-hosted URL. From there you can embed the code to a website backend like Wordpress, Square Space, etc.. It will even work on Behance if it's a portfolio piece. The second way is exporting as an EPub (Fixed Layout) and viewing the project in an E-Reader such as Apple Books or Adobe Digital Editions. You can export as HTML and hand off the assets to a developer, but this is a more complex option. Hope that helps!
Yes, I watched the tutorial how to import GIFs into InDesign, but I am talking about GIF files that are produced from Adobe After Effect These files only run one time. While GIF files that produced with Adobe Photoshop It works continuously, So what is the reason??
You have the best timing. This is exactly what I'm looking for!!

Awesome tutorials, though the music is a bit distracting, especially for such an involved construction.

Hey Ashley! How did I set up the document? Let me check the dimensions for this specific project and get back to you.
@@AngeloMontilla Was this a print or web document? What were your dimensions? Thanks in advance!
@@karenfahr2621 This was an A4 print setup, but you could definitely choose A4 for web!

I've spent so many years fumbling my way to self-learn a quarter of what I learned in 17 minutes this evening.
I am so glad to hear that! Thanks!

How do you export the document for windows users? Or is iBooks the only way to use and view the interactive brochure?

Thank you mister Montilla
Unsure if you realize, but your branding is exactly the logo mark for MetLife, Inc.
Thanks Wil. I re-branded Montilla Design years ago and no longer use that logo. Take care.

Hi Dammas. I have a tutorial on how to import GIFs into InDesign. Here's the link: th-cam.com/video/XGFrmm8Xtbo/w-d-xo.html
It's like Powerpoint was 10 years ago only somehow clunkier and less intuitive
