    Much better with the mic! Love the Idea of hanging pots from other pots, might have to give that a try. What kind of hunidifier are you running?

      Haha cheers it makes a huge difference.
      Yeah that comes from lack of space. And still isn't enough 🤣

    Hi I'm 12 and love nepenthes and want to buy a green house for them what equipment do you have in your green house like humidifier fans ect?

    How do you cool the green house? Here in my country it reaches 45 Celsius in summer

    • @Eat-Me-Exotics
      @Eat-Me-Exotics  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I've got an air-conditioner in it, 45°c day here and my greenhouse sits at about 32°c.
      If your in very dry conditions (below 20% humidity) you can look into evaporative cooling but I think at 45° it's not going to be effective enough.

      @@Eat-Me-Exotics can highlanders tolerate these temperatures? Like 32 Celsius ?

      Oh no my highlanders live in my fridge and get temps about 25°.
      I have kept the highlanders in the greenhouse in the past and cooled it to around 28° but they definitely slowed down

      So mostly hybrids in the greenhouse? And pure highland species in your fridge

    Hey mate great vid. What greenhouse do you have? Do you like it? I’m thinking about getting one like yours with the 4mm poly panels. I’m mainly wondering how much warmer it keeps the plants in the winter? I’m in QLD but it can still get below 10c at night sometimes. Cheers.

      Mines just the cheap 4mm polycarbonate from greenfingers (it's not amazing quality but does the job).
      We don't get below about 5° here in Sydney so I'm not sure how it would hold up to -10°c. There are options like wrapping the greenhouse in bubble wrap for winter (ideally horticultural bubble wrap but doesn't seem to be available here) but either way you would definitely need to heat it (I do in winter as well). Might be worth checking out brads greenhouse for winter tips he is in Canada so he deals with properly cold temps like that.

      If you scroll back through my videos I did an entire video on all the components you might need for a greenhouse set up
