Nothing like having regenerative powers to become a magnet for attacks, injuries and being the one who absorbs all the need for the plot to be realistic in the sense of feel danger. You can show wounds but without the consequences of these. Well, at least now animated series show injuries.
Halo’s power is OP to my list. Even though she is having a hard time controlling her powers. But her power of regeneration and not dying is op. But the side effect is you can still feel the pain and the feeling of dying and may or the person may become a crazy person from all the death experience person may recieved or get from all the dangers.
It's seems to me, when Doctor Fate said she has a strong ancient soul in her, he ment... like, SHE IS a reincarnation of majestic and strong magician! And now I see how everyone saying she is overpowered, when DOCTOR FATE said she is reincarnation! Come on, guys, if the old one said it - why so touchy?
Giving an explanation to a character being overpowered doesn't nullify that the character is overpowered, and the detriment to the story because of that. You can explain her immortality all you want, it doesn't negate the fact that people will notice her constantly being the one that gets killed.
I like Halo as character/concept as a character in Young Justice. I think their backstory is super interesting. I also think their overall character arc here does potentially work. I think the biggest problem with Halo and Young Justice, and possibly why people don't necessarily like them is the way they and their story were executed. I think having them also die like every 5 seconds just because they can heal themself is rather lazy writing. The writers could have either limited how often Halo gets fatally wounded, or they could've done a better job showing Halo's motivation for throwing themself into harm's way. Like, if other members of the team getting bruised/injured, or adversely affected in some way after a mission, or maybe if Brion had a brush with death in some way, and it was shown how that affected Halo, then it would make more sense as to why they're always dying or risking themself for their friends, especially given their past life as a Mother Box and their need to protect. I'm not saying this would have been the best approach, rather, this is merely an example of how they could have approved upon the story. Overall, I believe Halo is actually a great character on paper, but they were poorly utilized in the story.
@@efaristi9737 Indeed! My issue wasn't Halo taking a deadly risk for others. Rather, Halo was the only one dying or put in that kind of danger, whether or not it was through their own actions, while everyone else was more or less seemingly protected by "plot armor". I just think the writers could have done a better job of showing why Halo was the one always taking a hit. It just comes off as too convenient, even when they have the ability to heal themself.
@@ChaniBethyPooPoo yeah, i actually see a scene where her teammates ask her why she does that carelessly and she don't understand where the problem is since she can resurrect herself, it look only logical for her to serve as meat shield to protect the team. I do see Halo thinking "hey, since i can come back from death, i can die for others, literally, without consequences and save the day!"

it doesn't seem STUPID to anyone how they forced the whole story to give so much importance to a character coming out of the butt like Halo, with that nonsense that in addition to all her powers now she is also the key to the ANTI-LIFE EQUATION, it is supposed that the anti-life equation is a fictitious equation hidden in people's subconscious

Yea I totally agree, it's poor writing. And sends a bad mssg to be killing off the person with the hijab.
@@jeancarlos_qp Where the fuck did that come from 🤣

Hate how much they kill her, yet Batman, night wing, and every “human” hero never get injured.
" Ohh my God they killed Halo You bastards!"
🤣
It's in my brain now and I can't unhear it, lmao.
Cyborg:Rainbow power cool
Halo is literally like god she too powerful and too well designed
Wow she has so many pretty powers based off her mood and she’s literally untouchable 😭💯.
I love that she is basically Young Justice's Raven, Darkseid being her trigon
she made everyone gay by using her rainbow 🌈 powers
Well they made her a gay non-binary character so...
i cant with this comment TwT
I never knew about this character. This video just made her my fav. Fictional character

She's not a reincarnation; she's a motherbox who took over the dead body of a young woman. The motherbox is an ancient sentient computer.

well, when you have the power to resurrect yourself, taking deadly risks for others look suddenly less risky.
