Yes! Our one month trip to Arizona seemed short, and the return trip is going by twice as fast. We've definitely slowed down some, but maybe not enough.
Yes! We are so itching to settle in and get back to work up there. Exploring is great, but having a home base (and a place that you are delighted to come back home to) is priceless.
Very beautiful 😊. 🌵🏜 It's exciting to be along for the journey home. Will you be stopping in Missouri again? I so enjoyed your visit there on the way out. I watched the eclipse from my front porch. I'm just to the north of the band of totality but it was still very fascinating. Spring has finally arrived here. It's warming up, the flowering trees are in bloom, and mowing season has begun. All SO welcome after 6 long months of winter. Safe travels!! Take care 🥰🌿♥️.
It is funny, we were winding the clock back on winter on our way down and now we're winding the clock back on spring on our way home! Writing this from Tennessee, where the trees are just leafing out. We will miss the amphibian migration in Vermont (we're missing it right now) but we will be in time for catching the return of some of the birds, and probably witness all of the greening up.
We're actually taking a different route back and visiting a whole different set of family and friends... But fingers crossed you will see Nancy again around early June because she wants to help with the earthworks on the rocket mass heater.
Excellent video Jill! Really enjoyed it. We may have to hang around until April!
The terrain was beautiful. Too bad you couldn’t spend more time there.

Have loved your SW videos. Started reading Desert Solitaire and it is reminding me of your videos.
Thanks very much. We are excited to be back in our woods, but it's too bad we are missing late spring in the desert.
Looking forward to Vermont!
