    Oh My Goodness Donna! This quilt reminds me of being a nurse in the Emerg Dept. That centre block is the nurses station and the others are the beds and cubicles.....we had eight to look after per nurse!. I've retired now after 40 odd years and now quilting my little heart out, along with you!
    I love, love, love your nails too! I've never had the luxury of painting my nails or wearing rings. But retirement brings lots of changes
    I may one day have a manicure!!

    I just adore these videos. I used to attend my grandmas quilting club when I was a kid and I honestly crave starting my own up some day. It was so nice to have a big group of ladies sewing pieces and then a HUGE table where ladies would hand quilt completed quilts. It was so cathartic - and the best quality time with a multitude of generations together.

    This quilt pattern reminds me of the view finders my girls had when they were little. They love clicking through the little movies. I think the bright little quilt would make an adorable baby quilt.

    Both quilts are beautiful, but I'll confess--I've always had a soft spot for reproduction prints. I love the larger quilt, the fabrics are gorgeous and really work well in a larger setting ❤

    I love the larger version. Wasn't so sure about the choice of fabric, but the finished quilt had a fabulous overall look The sashing made it. Donna, you're a magician 🪄

    Donna, you never cease to amaze me. I love all your tutorials that you bring us. I'm very old fashion and I love reproduction civil war fabrics. I have quite a collection of them. The small quilt with the bright fabrics is very pretty, but I think the pattern calls for the civil war repros. The added sashing and cornerstones really set off the blocks. Thank you for the free pattern and your nails are lovely. They look like little mirrors to me. Stay safe and well.

    Hi Donna you have done it again another quilt for me to make, love this quilt, I have a French general layer cake that I think will look good in this pattern. My granddaughter likes the bright quilt, but I like the traditional quilt. Also love your nails.

    Thank you for this pattern! My daughter has been wishy washy on what she wanted her quilt to be, but when I sent her a screen shot of this, she said "Get it!" We already have yardage for it, so I'll have to do some extra cutting, but I'm just happy she made a decision, thanks to you!

    Loved the reproduction quilt. It reminded me of the wagon wheels on the old buck wagons. The more colorful really didn't do anything for me. Have always loved the instructions you give. Simple to follow and precise.

    I really love the quilt with the reproduction prints. I especially like the sashing to set each block apart. Both quilts are lovely.

    This is definitely one of those quilts that became more aesthetically pleasing as you go along. I really didn’t like the quilt until she separated the blocks introducing the sashing and corner stones. Total transformation from ugly duckling to stunning quilt. My favorite is the reproduction quilt and loved the quick nails 💅🏽 change.

    Another amazing tutorial, as always! The fabrics were all beautiful and I really liked the darker binding. I was curious what sewing machine you have? I would love to see a video where you go over all of the materials and brands you use to make all your beautiful quilts. Like your cutting mats, rotary cutters, types of thread, anything and everything!

    I've always loved quilt blocks that resemble circles, esp. without having to sew curves, so I've always had this block in my sites. I vote for the civil war quilt and some of the coolest nails you've ever sported!!!!

    Loved both the quilts, for different reasons. The pastel one is a happy quilt, while the darker one is calming. Both beautiful. Also liked the nails. I get a little distracted with them sometimes, but especially today. The silver color was absolutely gorgeous. I have to watch the video again to really understand the instructions since I was so distracted by your nails. Thanks so much for the videos. You give me lots of inspiration for quilting.

    Rewatching this video, reading the comments I suddenly have a yen to use the unusual Black & White 10” square collections we see more often the past two years.     Great pattern and so versatile with color changes. The smaller would be a perfect baby quilt and the larger makes a very homey bed or couch quilt.
