  • Albuquerque police are looking for a couple they say left two big bills on the table -- enough to make it seem like they were leaving a decent tip, when in fact they were doing the opposite.

      chris gast Using the child as a ruse. People would let their guard down. Buffalo Wild Wings could have begged off on the service or given some kind of limited service because of the couples late arrival but they see the baby and give the family a pass.
      To use a child in the commission of a crime is child abuse. In the broadcast the police just want to talk to the couple. The couple may not have even known that the money was counterfeit but if it turns out that they did know and there was intent then they would also be charged with child abuse.

      Wanna know how I know they're guilty? Because I work in the industry, and on $106 you don't leave a $50 bill on the table as a tip and leave quickly after you asked your server to go get something for you. In all my years, that would be considered suspicious. Even people who must leave in a "hurry" (though, if they came at closing 12AM, I fail to see where they would be called away in a hurry to at that hour), will likely yell, "I'm sorry, something came up I have to go, the money is on the table" -- so innocent till proven guilty only in a court of law, but by street smarts and actual humanistic justice, we all know better. GUILTY until you have proof you are innocent.

    It's OK that the police want to speak with them about it, but to jump straight to charges? My co-worker came across a counterfeit $20 bill about a month ago, and the lady got it from someone who purchased her baby clothes. Another case in my town was of someone paying with a counterfeit $100 bill that his friend loaned him for formula. As far as we know, they could have sold a piece of furniture or even received it cashing out at a store, since some folks don't check large bills at the registers. Really find myself hoping that they are guilty, so they won't be facing imprisonment for something they didn't know about.

    • @jasonjackson5696
      @jasonjackson5696 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      sandy Rodriguez - no, it’s exactly the same because the Border Patrol & or ICE locates the parents or relatives unless it’s child trafficking. The MSM leads you to believe the border kids are literally ripped out of the parents arms & thrown into cages. That’s totally fake news.

    • @saucin2990
      @saucin2990 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      And the child wouldve been treated as a criminal also, detained and put in a fenced camp possibly thousands of miles from his parents for weeks on end, then taken before a judge... umm i dont think so.

    • @jasonjackson5696
      @jasonjackson5696 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Saucin 29 - true - the border kids are treated as criminals because they broke the law but not put into juvenile detention centers like US citizen kids would be if they broke the law. They are put into TEMPORARY facilities that are extremely humane. It was the Obama administration that caged them.
      What’s totally untrue, the border kids are processed 10 times faster than the US citizens arrested in my example. Many times these kids cannot be reunited with the parents because the parents were not with them to begin with.

      Lol come on, baby girl, I know you've gotten this far in life on your looks, but at some point, you're gonna have to need a brain that's smarter than a lab rat. The bill was $106. If they didn't know the money was real, that would mean they actually tried to tip the waitress 40% of the bill.
      What's more likely:
      A) they left $150 in counterfeit cash and left before they could get their change because they knew the waitress would find out it's fake before she even puts it in the register.
      OR
      B) They genuinely carried around fake cash that, for some reason, they couldn't tell was fake, even though the waitress was able to find out within a few minutes, and they just felt like leaving a super generous tip.
      Yeah, pressing X to doubt on your scenario.

    I'm not saying they are innocent or guilty because I don't know them. But once, my finance and I were living in his truck at 19 and 21. And we sold another homeless man an old tent we had for $50. He was not necessarily a friend, but I trusted him well enough and We were starving and so happy to get the money that we didn't think to check the bill. This man made a lot of money panhandling so it wasn't unusual. We went straight to a super burger in the same shopping center and when we got there they asked if we wanted them to call the police. Asked if we were joking. We thought it was because we were homeless and kind of dirty. But when they turned the bill around it literally said "for motion picture use only" and the president's face was in a funny sort of scowl. The bill felt like it was almost waxxy. And we had no idea. So you never know where someone got it, if they checked. They might really be guilty. I'm just saying. I never saw that dude Joe again. We're both living in a house now, baby on the way, jobs. So I try not to be mad at Joe because he's probably still in that tent that I would have given him without him offering money. I bought that dude meals so many times. At least he's warm. If you happen apon this Joe, fuck you buddy I hope you're doing well. 🤗

      So what, everyone makes mistakes especially when it comes to trusting another person. I've done it more than once! Usually if your a good person you automatically want to trust. So, put in a normal situation you want to trust it's just natural to you so you think it's natural to them to be honest. Take the hit but tell the cops, if you don't not only are they going to get away Scott free they are probably going to try/do it again and cause more harm and discontent. There is a chance your circumstance may help catch the jerk so he can't rip off someone else.
