- I went out to make my final bullet selection for my upcoming bear hunt in Maine. I shot a couple different bullets and made my choice for each of two guns. Stay tuned for the actual hunt video!

This video was great! I sighted my Texan in @ 25yrds, then, 100yrds, holdover is perfectly dead on! Very nice video, first I’ve watched of yours! I just subscribed! Thanks for the awesome content! I’ll keep watching!
It's nice to see someone doing video with the Texan Carbine! There are TONS of videos on the long Texans, but I chose the Carbine, so its nice to see another!

Looking good man, hope your hunting trip goes well. I was in Denver for 3 days last week and man oh miss Mitchell was she ever smoky! Cant wait for the video but more importantly relax and enjoy every moment pard! Still don't have the AAO 2021 valve installed, been busy looking for work and re-doing our water destroyed bathroom but will get there. I did get the adapter for the air beast fit onto the barrel, (had to heat the adapter and tap it on) she aint coming off on her own I will tell you. Air beast is awesome for sure.... tamed her right down. Definitely a looooong gun now LOL. Bob hooked me up with some 150 grain and some 130's. Might be too light for the AAO valved 308, but sure do shoot nice in the factory set up. Have 170's and will get some 180's coming for that occasion. Peace and fresh air!

I got some land northern grizzly country 20 minutes from the Canadian border Colombia New Hampshire Twin peaks predators get real big I just picked up this air rifle today it should be delivered soon I use the hammer 50 this will be in my ox carbon pack All times when I leave the property as well as on I have a stream so they come in and feed white wolf bobcat mountain lion bear you name it it’s out there I’m not going to be on the food chain I think I got the right rifle In 45 being mountain range easy to maneuver I noticed your Texan is different I got the SS carbon tank with the shroud I think it’s 24 inch barrel it’s my first Texan I have a red dot digital reflect to keep it light as well as a green laser I do a lot of predator hunting at night primarily wolf and coyote stealing the upland game around my land Good luck on the bear hunting take care

Yep always bring o-rings and extra gun,temperature and humidity I have found is really effects airguns,I found out the hard way in SC but it was 100% humidity 😂!
Hi, for a cheap and nice bag rider for the AF butt stock. Try a small carbon fiber tube with a long bolt. Fits right into the lower hole on the butt plate, will help catch the bag.

Nice guns n shooting, I have the new 2021 valve,4500 tank, stainless steel carrier, magnum spring n hammer,shots really strong,seems like the more heavy grain the bullet the more power it pushes it out well hit harder,but I can't turn the power wheel pass the 2nd notch from the muzzle,or it will not cock do urs do that

What the longest distance have you shot your carbine where you get the tightest groups. That is really some nice shooting. Especially have that wind

Case anybody is wondering if it's an MOA scope it's 4 clicks at a hundred eight klicks at 50 yards and 16 clicks at 25 yards per inch it's save a ton of money

More so with airguns than firearms for sure!
Wind will not effect a round at that distance. At that distance it's either shooter error but with a target moving because it wasn't mounted on solid frame work, it was because of framework. You can see the target bouncing and swinging.

What is the best pellet for the airforce Texan .45 for hunting deer and hogs
None are good. Although Pellets aren’t really made for that, But due to circumstances I used a 82=g jsb. Shot him in the head with the bulldog and he ran 60 yards. Definitely want to use slugs and although Texans love heavier slugs , each rifle is different in its own way.
Not to mention each shooter shoots different as well.
Which Texan do you have in 457 make a huge difference

I hope y'all carry a backup gun, I would definitely hunt with these but I'd have a 10mm just incase it didn't do the job

No. Passed on a bunch of bears but didn't see the right one.

I don't have issue with that but it's just not my thing.
