I’m still looking for an XR today, the best design with single camera lens, LCD display for awesome durability (no OLED burn-in), and great battery, great performance, and of course FaceID (awesome for gloves or sweaty hands).
And that white one with the black screen just looks so so awesome! Since it came out I wanted one, I’ll get it one day.
What i love about xr is its lcd display ,i can calmly update my phone without worrying it getting damaged in update,screen burn,or damage when dropped .but not punchy as oled display ,blacks are too good in oled.
Still getting one day battery with 80 bh.
What i like about apple is its longetivity 4 years and still i can play all games,video editing,social media etc on this phone with out any problem ❤
Literally watching on the Xr also, honestly runs better than most android mid range and let’s not talk abt the camera cos damn 🔥🔥
I had a xr and it was a beast compared to my samsung galaxy a52. Imo android has no chance against iphones in 2023(im saying this couse i have androids and iphones too!)
All midrange android phones are dogshit… an older flagship such as the galaxy s20 is around the same price as the galaxy a52 and is miles better
Been using the XR since December of 2018 and it still works great! But battery life hasn’t been good, especially after iOS 16.
maybe you should buy a new battery

That’s why I love Apple they have phones from 4 years ago that you can still use and get updates till this day while androids from what I remember don’t get no updates and are so quick to get dropped and forgotten about by companies
Pixel has 7 years of updates...android are not the same as you remember.. I am getting an iPhone though cuz I'm tired of Android glitches even though my new pixel has been working fine
Switched back to my XR after a year using the iPhone 13 mini. The iPhone 13 mini was great, but going back to the office and using gps on long commutes was draining the 🪫 before I 10 am. I was charging my phone too frequently everyday. I wasn’t using the camera for anything special so I didn’t see a drastic difference between the 13 and the XR.
That is interesting the Xr last longer than the 13 mini

Coming from a 13 pro I ended up with an XR because the battery was 78% capacity. Replaced the battery for 40$ with the ifixit kit (took me 5 hours). I bought one of those Apple smart cases for the XR for 80$ and this phone easily last 2 days. So 120$ invested for an XR with double battery life? Am I using it over my 13 pro because I invested in it... yes. Also I turned on iCloud photos and take pictures with both. Once they sync up, the comparison is interesting. Great video by the way.

Bought Xr’s for my teenagers. Does them well, and the screens are cheap to replace.
The Xr, along with the SE’s and 11 are the only choice for the 10% of us who can’t use OLED due to PWM
I ordered a XR yesterday because it's such a good value in 2023 for $200-250. Especially when you compare it to other new $200 phones out now. I have been mostly on android the last 2 years but missed the smoothness of iOS that android doesn't quite have yet. I still don't get why people obsessed so much over the LCD display because it worked very well. People's priorities are so screwed up obsessing over photo, video and display. All I care about is having a phone that works well and the XR even now does just that. It won't be top of the line but you know going in it won't be the latest and greatest.
U ppl use budget androids and rant abt saying tat iphones are smoother . Use flagship and then talk
@@amerdyne8791I've used pretty much every brand of android flagship you can name, and to me iPhones are better optimized. Especially when it comes to long term performance and support. iPhones are the only brand I know of that sends security updates to phones years after software support ends.
Not bad for a almost 5 year old phone it did age well my sister has one and she still loves it
I just bought a refurbished one off of Amazon because my crappy never worked right since the day I got it FREE Government Android phone shut off the ability to make a phone call 2 weeks ago on its own & I could not take using the garbage phone any more.
Its now copying my Iphone 8, its apps and photos & its the newest Iphone I have ever owned.
My first Iphone was an Iphone 4.

Still on it. Back is craked. But I have a case. But always have screen protector. On my 5th. Battery health is 83%. My goal is set on the 14 or 15 plus.
I do wish when you get a new phone it would not keep turning off the screen while you are trying to copy everything over from the old Iphone.
Its driving me crazy.
I would buy the iPhone 11 over this, the iPhone XR is starting to show its age a little bit. with the iPhone 11, you get better battery life, and a faster chip. you even get an extra camera.
Don't need the extra camera. And to buy the iPhone 11 would mean having to shell out an extra £100... 😐

I bought two, one for main phone & the other to use with JBL Bluetooth speakers. These phones are beasts for listening to music.
The one drawback is the small battery & horrible battery life.
i found one for basically $140 i think that is a steal!

For some reason, my Xr doesn’t respond to touch well
When I place it on my table or bed, it doesn’t touch at all,
When I’m playing games, it doesn’t respond to touches well especially with multiple fingers
I’m coming from a 7 🤦🏻 the screen was very responsive on it

this review kinda sus. been using my XR til this Nov of 2023 and did not have the need to lower the graphics on my games, including CoD mobile. does not need to charge 2-3hrs as well. lol

You can get one for around $150 on eBay

No point in upgrading until phone companies start including under display front facing cams. As long as complete screens aren't a thing, notch and bezels shouldn't bother you, 1 punch hole or a black slab is the same annoyance, don't be fooled every 2 years.
I recommend a one plus 9 instead of this you get a better camera and a oled screen at 1080p rather than 720p this phone was outdated from the get go
