- I am so excited to teach you how to make Japanese ginger salad dressing just like a restaurant. All you have to do is measure the ingredients and blend them in a smoothie blender or mini food processor.
I also have tips and best practices for making yourself the salad just like the serve in your favorite hibachi restaurants.

Tried this recipe today and it turned out so good! I rarely publish comments but I need to do so for this recipe. This ginger salad dressing is so close to what I had at Benihana and is really tasty. I replaced peanut oil with avocado oil and sugar with stevia sweetener. So good!
Thank you for coming back and sharing! I am so glad you enjoyed it!
I use miso paste instead of carrot with sesame oil & mirin in my recipe. I pickle my own ginger which has sugar & vinegar so I don’t need to add extra in the dressing. Top the salad with toasted sesame seeds too.
Wow. So thankful for this. The only original I could find (which tastes just like the restaurant's recipe) was by a chef . His recipe made WAY too much to keep on hand. You made it easy on me now. Very appreciative.
Yay! That’s what I love to hear! Thanks for watching 😊
If a recipe is too big, you can scale it down.

Ive never of heard of them using raw onions and personally I wouldn't eat it. I always ask about raw onions but I know a lot of people like them. I like everything else in the salad though and will try it.

Thank you for this video! Do you think it's possible to use tahini instead of the peanut oil?
I’m not sure how the texture would be, but it’s worth a try. Maybe try a 1/2 batch and see how it comes out. I’m all for experimenting with recipes!
@@fancyaproncooking Thank you for this helpful reply! Much appreciation!
I'm going to add sesame oil to mine
How long can we store this in the fridge for?
Good question! 4 days is the safest bet with the raw veggies
@@fancyaproncooking thank you!
Sesame oil is good in this
I agree! Love the flavor of sesame 💕
Did i miss the ginger? 🤭🤭
The ginger went in right before the tomato paste. It’s there- I promise!
I think you should take the care to tell people not to use certain vegetable oil because causes inflammation and is not good for them. 2 teaspoons of sugar is disappointing. Maybe you could use some kind of honey or ground date something more healthy than the sugar thanks.
She provided a recipe. I doubt she’s an allergy or inflammation specialist. The responsibility to avoid certain ingredients is on the person who consumes the food. They should simply ask if certain ingredients are in the food instead of her providing an ingredient list for those who dine on food prepared and eaten in her home.
Sugar is delicious…and you can alter the recipe for your own needs. I find your comment disappointing.
I can't use oil
Any oil at all?
Literally no one cares.
@@ChantalRussellnot true. I care…..and plan to give some thought and offer a solution …..
Just leave it out! It will still be a good tasty dressing, just a bit different
If you can do soaked & blended cashews, they make things creamy without processed oil. Also, silken tofu can be the sub for oil. It does alter the flavor / texture quite a bit, but it works.
