I’ve been waiting to see her on here!!! My husband was supposed to be infertile with a super low sperm count. Downloaded her app (she has an app that will predict most fertile times in a year for a couple) and our most fertile time of the year was coincidentally my next cycle. Six months pregnant now.
Extraordinary to hear someone talk in such a wholistic way about fertility, including financial matters, themes of undeserving, and scarcity. What a beautiful episode.
I have had success encouraging clients to conceive when transit moon is the same distance from transit sun as natal moon and natal sun. Example: if a woman is born 5 days after a new moon, they tend to be more fertile 5 days after a new moon. Of course, I take signs, aspects, houses etc into serious consideration. But, that’s the main technique I use. It’s worked quite well. Learned from Judith Hill, Medical Astrologer. Excellent podcast here! As always! 🙏💫
This is one of your most powerful episodes yet! The chart of my first miscarriage has Saturn, ruler of my 5th house directly on my ascendant, mars square Neptune by one degree, transiting Pluto conjunct natal mars in 5th house exact, and the day was a lunar eclipse in Capricorn - my fifth house. Tremendously eery when you see it all.
At the 90min mark there's discussion around conception and a 6 day lag. I've worked in obstetrics for nearly 2 decades. Conception occurs when spermatozoa successfully meets and penetrates the ovum, gender is affirmed at this point by either an Xx or Xy chromosome. The lag that is being discussed is actually implantation, when the new busted out of its outer shell blastocyst imbeds itself into the uterine lining (what is shed in the form of menstruation if pregnancy is unsuccessful).
Excellent discussion! I hope this episode helps women struggling in this area. I'm a 23rd degree Capricorn ascendant, with Saturn in the 5th and my moon square Venus. Suffered a miscarriage and remained childless ever sense. Extremely unfortunate.
I am beyond elated that this is posted now. Thank you so so much. The transits that I’ve been going through this year have pointed to chance of conceiving, and I’m pregnant. I had a reading earlier this year that was filmed, and at the time I wasn’t planning on conceiving, but all transits in the next year signal to this happening, and it happened. This year I had Moon conjunct Mars in my progressed chart, the south node crossing over my ascendant natal, and sun and Jupiter are transiting my fifth when I deliver!!
And I conceived the weekend the transit sun was conjunct my Mars, which is my chart ruler. I will be going through Mars return while the baby is one month old. And being Pluto ruled myself, as well as my partner also being Plutonian, it’s natural that our first child together will have Pluto also at a critical degree in Aquarius! I cannot wait to reach out to the astrologer that gave me the reading to confirm not only finding my partner this year, but also beginning this chapter of starting a family. Divine timing to say the least
Also turning 30 this year, around 1:46 she is talking about a very specific age group of millennials. I completely agree with the shallowness of the way that we communicate and relate to each other, we were all shown the duality of technological advances and nature as young children, and thus crave deep intimacy but are curious to explore the unknown territory of the web… this is truly due to being the first generation of instant messenger computer kids, and Pluto in Scorpio kids to be honest, if I were to put it plainly, it is very much about sex first for pleasure and not procreation for us. And specifically the millennials like me with Saturn in Aquarius and Pisces, as well as Pluto in scorpio, and we are kind of the epitome of extremes when it comes to maintaining traditional form and approach to relationships and parenting, or the polar opposite, where we are breaking the molds, focusing on our own personal healing from our childhoods having been raised by boomers who did not do that work or set us up to continue legacy “properly” or “as it’s always worked.” I’m one to speak loudly for those of us in the room with these combinations- no matter what, we have broken free. Some more than others. Breaking free looks like not having kids at all for a large chunk of millenials. It seems we have too much to recover from spiritually and otherwise to bear progeny, and want to lead the way in this regard to help future generations break free, too. That means being considered and judged as taboo, raunchy, and shallow.
Honestly Chris, this was a remarkable and one of my favourite episodes to date. I just love Nicola and could have listened to this all day. More like this one. Thank you 👍
This is interesting episode, but statistics stated in the beginning of the episode are wrong. Infertility is on the rise, but it's old idea that women's fertility goes over the "cliff" at the age 30, 35, 36, what ever. it's rather a gentle slope, because women eggs exist from the beginning and are not impacted manufacturing errors after initial creation. Historically women had their last living child between ages 37-45, mean being at the age 42! Rise of the later time for the first pregnancy has given this false idea that elder mothers, mothers in their forties, are new phenomenon, but this is completely wrong interpretation. First pregnancy happened earlier yes, but last pregnancy usually happened around 40! Birth control was so and so, and children were expected and desired, infant mortality was high after all. At the age of 40 women has 44% chance of getting pregnant in one year of trying! So on the contrary, this is first age in human history where people act like later pregnancy is oddity or terrible stress. There has always been good chance of having healthy pregnancy at later age. Now the spotlight in science have also moved from womens "flaws" in later pregnancy to their spouses. Whereas women's eggs stay the same, men produce new sperm continuously and that process is very fragile. Age, bad habits, environmental toxins can dramatically affect sperm quality and even impact on women's risk of miscarriage. Remember, when there is older women pregnant, statistically her spouse is even older. So there, it really bothers me how in the beginning of the episode some facts were wrong or painted wrong picture of women fertility after 36. It was based old information and myths.
Yes- I scrolled specifically looking for this comment. I find it odd that she quotes so many inaccurate stats, since this is her area of specialization. It really gives me pause, given that she works with people around this topic and the inaccurate stats seem scaremonger-y, which honestly seems like an ethical issue. I hope Chris sees this comment and offers a correction in a subsequent episode. In addition to the stats you corrected- she said the chance of 20 years olds getting pregnant is 15% per cycle, but actually it's 33%. Even a 30 year old has a 20% chance per cycle. She said the chances of a 40 year old getting pregnant are 1%, but they're 5% per cycle- which yes is 44% over the course of a year. Almost half of women over 40 have fertility struggles, but she makes it seem like it's almost 100%.
I was going to skip this episode because I didn’t think it would have much pertinence to my interests or practice, but thanks to another viewer referring me, I’m so glad I came back to watch this. I learned A LOT about how the traditions of astrology find their modern relevance and applicability, plus there is so much else in the episode that points me towards additional depthful ways to understand intergenerational patterns.
What an amazing episode, one of the best i've ever heard about astrology. I love it when there's tons of examples to illustrate every idea. It's much better that theory and bla bla bla... Thank you Nicola and Chris.
Excellent. Blend fertility with medicine astrology and social anthropology. And siblings different read of mom. You are essentially an anthropologist. Highly recommend and I will be selectively sharing 😀 👍
Fascinating issue and extraordinary episode. Nicola has explore the specific of a complex issue very deeply and it is so fascinating that Astrology is such a helpful tool in this endeavor
Absolutely incredible and so accurate !! Thank you for sharing your wisdom … 🙏🙏 I have Saturn (1st house) square Neptune (5th house) ! Recurrent multiple miscarriages after one child. I am sure I have other signatures too but have not sat with my chart in detail … this was very interesting !
This is such an interesting topic! I really enjoyed it. My daughter was a week late but we waited until she was ready and had a natural birth. Her sun is in the 10th house lol. I scheduled my son’s birthday and got induced. His sun is in the 9th house. I wasn’t interested in astrology at that time but now I can’t get enough. Thank you for your content
Wow, I'm a Sun in 10th House woman and I always wondered why I never had an interest in having children. I never had a real reason against it, but I could never truly justify having them either. I always thought of creating another human as very serious, and if it wasn't a total 100% hell yes, then it was a hell no.
I must be the only one who felt that there needed to be a lot more practical application explained in this podcast. The topic is fantastic, but it does not help me understand how to see it in my own child’s conception chart. She throws out different transits that are either good or bad randomly. And I did not hear her say what the Almuten of pregnancy actually is. Is it something you calculate? I couldn’t even find it clearly explained in articles about her online. And I felt she wanted to bash someone’s theory who went before her (I forget the name she mentioned) and inflate her theory which was not explained clearly IMO. My Sag sun, Aquaris moon/rising was left frustrated with this episode.
1:05:03 I almost started crying here by what you said. I mean, I literally have tears in my eyes. That moment you had there... was just a very human to human spiritual moment right there.
Hello Chris. I got very interested in what you talk about in the end of the video. Intentional actions or specific rituals one can make in order to work with the energy of the transits rather than passively receiving it. Can you suggest books on the subject please? Thanks a lot!
what a wonderful discussion!! Listening to Nicola is fascinating!! I would like to know more on Fertility Astrology as well on Health Astrology!! Thank you, Chriss Brennan for this new episode!!
This was a fascinating discussion I have an empty 10H however it is ruled by cancer/moon I would completely agree with her thoughts on women who have luminaries in 10H, exactly my outlook.
So interesting. Esp about the Jupiter aspect. I would love to find out how astrology comes into play with women who consistently give birth on the same day. My mom had 8 kids. Only 3 have their own birthdays. Two were born on the same day 6 yrs apart and 3 were born on another day, twins and then another baby 3 years later.
My brother and I (I’m female) were also born on the same day 5 years apart. My mom’s 5th house is Scorpio and her 5th house ruler Mars (unaspected) is in Libra 4th house. She has North Node, Moon, Venus, and Uranus there. North Node and Uranus are conjunct exactly (0 orb). We were both born out of wedlock with two different dads.
Thank you for this postcast. Its truly amazing. My moon is beseiged between mars and jupiter in Capricorn. My mars and saturn are in mutual reception (saturn 17 scorpio, mars 17 cap). And I've never met anyone to start a family with. I'm now 38. I found the tjing of moon / saturn "i dont deserve" really apt, so I wonder if thats the mutual reception playing out. Just commenting in case it helps with research. No planets in 5th. 5th house is Aries, so again, the ruler of 5th in a saturnian sign. Thanks again.
I had an astrology reading for fertility from the only UK fertility astrologer and it was terrible just long periods of potential timeframes. 6 years of ttc and nothing - wish I had known about this lady at the time 😞
Fucking wonderful! Very sensitive and insightful for families overall, since pregnancy is the seed for the family tree. Definitely one of my favourite episodes ♥
Wow this was priceless! 🙏 Thank you so much Chris & Nicola ❤, such an in-depth and at the same time easy to follow conversation, worth relistening again. Love how Nicola explains aspects and astrology counselling work from the psychological perspective. Definately will look for the books. Does Nicola teach any workshops and courses? Both on fertility astrology and astrology in general.
I'm wondering what house system she uses? Using whole sign I'm not sure if it makes sense to use the degree of the 5th house cusp in the calculation of the almuten of pregnancy...
Jah & Jahes love. This was an amazing episode! I cannot wait to read her book! I have Moon in Cancer in the 8th my Sun and Mercury in Gemini also in the 8th. I have Neptune in my ascendant, Scorpio! I think that means I’m fertile. I conceived 6 babies between 28 &39! But, I had serious infertility for years before until I became a complete vegan and went on a juice feast! Of course I have Jupiter in Virgo in the 11th! Anyway, I’m in my 50s, I don’t want to do IVF if the man whom I’m love with wants to have a baby with me. But, after listening to her, I feel very insecure about my ability to become pregnant as a woman in my early 50s. I wish everyone the best still! I wish she had discussed the part of the chart that tells you how many kids you’ll have. Blessed love.#1804 #Ayiti #ToutMounSeMoun #HousingfortheHomelessNow #AbolishCPS #DefundFosterCare
Brilliant conversation, Thank you Chris for inviting Nicola to talk. I’m curious what technique would show “step-children” in a person’s chart. I have no birth children by “choice?” I say that “?” because as I listened to this, it seems a lot more of our lives is “pre-determined”. I have two wonderful step-children. Also is it the “Arabic-part” that she uses to look for pregnancy? Thanks. Your podcasts are always educational🙏🏼
Valens says that Saturn signifies parenting "the children of others," do you have any significant Saturn/Moon placements? Does Saturn rule your 5th house? To answer your question about the Arabic part, there are actually many different ones! They are just significant invisible points in space calculated by measuring the distance in a chart from one planet to another and then going that distance from the Ascendant. They're also known as the "lots"
@@torib796 🙋🏻♀Hi Tori, thank you. I have my 🌙 🔺🪐 Jupiter rules my 5th. Curiously Saturn is in my 5th. I’ve found some of the “Lots” - part of Spirit and part of fortune. Goodness as I looked this up there are bunches! 🙏🏼
Whoa! Wait up! 99 minutes 29 seconds. I am speechless... My 1st child has a moon in Scorpio in their conception chart and was born with Scorpio rising in their birth chart. #Mindblown
Interesting about Jupiter, I’ve been able to track it through some very important life changes, including it being on the ascendant as my son was being born… Jupiter in libra in my 4th house, now my son has Jupiter in libra in his first his house.
I love that. I have Jupiter in Libra (in my 10th) as well but my child coming 2023 will have Jupiter in Aries. Conceived shortly after/during a Jupiter opposition transit through my 4th. I wonder if it will be prominent in their chart. However I think mars is a larger contributor as we will share the same mars sign. Hmmm
And I just evaluated a mother and son chart synastry, they have the same Jupiter one degree apart. They are two peas in a pod, both jovial and optimistic in the same ways. I wonder if this is the same for you
Interestingly, with Whole Signs system, I have my Gemini Retrograde Jupiter of 7 degrees in my 1st house, I believe this represents foreign affairs or foreign travels, and more notably, it's part of my Ascendant/1st house. Does this potentially represent any possibly interesting insight, whatsoever?
This is interesting and helpful in many ways, but as someone looking into fertility issues, I assure you that the chances of getting pregnant at 40 or 41 are MUCH higher than 1%. 😂😂 I don’t know what archaic data she’s using, but they’re absolutely inaccurate. I’m not sure any of the fertility rates she quoted were correct, actually -- please consult better sources for that information.
Tying in to the playing god part, the fact to try to engineering the bby's gendre or attributes is in thhat line of thought which goes against the natural aspect of these ideas
I’ve been waiting to see her on here!!! My husband was supposed to be infertile with a super low sperm count. Finally talking about fertility. Thanks Chris Brennan !!
Great episode! Fortunately there are now a lot of hospitals around the world who are helping women over 49 have children!

Good on you. People act like having children isn’t a big deal, like children aren’t entire human beings that will have an impact on others/ the world.

“pre-determined”.
I have my
🌙 🔺🪐 Jupiter rules my 5th. Curiously Saturn is in my 5th.
I’ve found some of the “Lots” - part of Spirit and part of fortune. Goodness as I looked this up there are bunches! 🙏🏼
Derived houses? 5th from the 7th?
@@LVSpeedweLL glad I was able to help c:
This is brilliant thank you
Whoa! Wait up! 99 minutes 29 seconds. I am speechless... My 1st child has a moon in Scorpio in their conception chart and was born with Scorpio rising in their birth chart. #Mindblown
My wife was experiencing moon transiting her natal Pluto at 1 degree Scorpio. She's also a Scorpio ascendant.
While there was a grand trine at conception, there was a grand square/grand cross at the time of their birth.
AND Saturn is square the moon!!!! I am getting chillz!
Saturn was 17 degrees away from an opposition with Neptune.
Pretty sure both my children were conceived during Sagittarius moon and both have a sag rising. Never thought about this but it is very interesting!!
Really enjoyed this interview 🙂 thank you Chris!
I wonder if this is the same for you
This is just excellent! Another AP gem 💎 Thk you both 🙏💕
THIS IS FASCINATING! Thank you!
Amazing episode, thank you.
which house system does Nicola use,
This is a great episode.
Mars entered into my 5th Placidus house TODAY!! Any other Aquarius risings feeling the “ambient heat” as Austin put it in the last monthly episode?
Fascinating... can't wait to listen over a pot of tea! ○●☆●○ *Aquarius stellium / Taurus rising*
This was fantastic!!!!
What an interesting podcast. Thank you 🙏✨🌟
Loved this one. Thanks for fertility astrology

I’m a moon in Leo square scorpio Pluto 🤍 trine Aries mars 😪🤍
I definitely have that Leo moon square Pluto relationship with my mother 😳😪😅🤍
Finally !!!!!!!!!!!!! Chris is the B👏E👏S👏T
This is such an interesting episode!!
What is that one word that keeps being mentioned - the omnutant of pregnancy?
Almuten. Can’t find her app in the apple store… no idea how to calculate it :/
I got pregnant on my Jupiter Fidaria and my progressed moon hit my progressed IC in the 5th house. Been trying to get pregnant for two years
Thank you 💖
I want to know more about the “Alcoccoden”
Great topic ✨
Wish I could use the app it won’t get passed the first page
Interestingly, with Whole Signs system, I have my Gemini Retrograde Jupiter of 7 degrees in my 1st house, I believe this represents foreign affairs or foreign travels, and more notably, it's part of my Ascendant/1st house. Does this potentially represent any possibly interesting insight, whatsoever?
Loved this
This is interesting and helpful in many ways, but as someone looking into fertility issues, I assure you that the chances of getting pregnant at 40 or 41 are MUCH higher than 1%. 😂😂 I don’t know what archaic data she’s using, but they’re absolutely inaccurate. I’m not sure any of the fertility rates she quoted were correct, actually -- please consult better sources for that information.
I wonder what birth chart : Tropical or Vedic and there is one more chart, but which to get accurate reading.
I wish this would always be clarified for videos!
Beautiful you guys!!!!
