It's needed to merge the 'mirrored' and 'dark' mods together and then you get the feeling of you are playing Half-Life 2 for the first time in your life

Funfact in case someone hasn't noticed: Field Intensity is just a rephrase of Surface Tension.
No, Surface Tension is the tension of water before it breaks the surface, Field Intensity, or more correctly, Field Strength, refers to that same concept but for magnetic fields.

i love the fact you bring out Underhell here, its truly a underrated mod and how hard reality hit is, its Developer abandon the mod to make Day of Infamy and Insurgency contents so far i have remember of it, i mean its not a bad thing at least the man who made the mod have now a better job.
One intresting about Underhell is that it uses SMOD Base for the mod alone, meaning it has a kick, bullet time, and gore!
I'm so looking forward to Hard-Life, watching the gameplay of the alpha stages just felt like seeing HL1 for the first time again.
hardlife makes hl more realistic
Brutal half life is my favourite because of how detailed is it. You can shoot the limbs of your enemies to get them chopped off.
I agree, Underhell is underrated.
Shame it never got a sequel.

Field intensity is an incredible incredible mod. I went into it expecting about an hour or two of gameplay but it just keeps going on and on and on. Ive loved every moment of it.
Man looking forward to try the Operation Stabilization - I just finished Entropy Zeroes, Combine Destiny, Combine Combat and now I am looking forward to try this one.
you forgot the Wanted the HL Western mod, it even has a story mode. Very fun and difficult to play.

'Echoes' is an amazing mod. The author used the same GoldSrc, but he made VERY detailed maps and you get the feeling that you aren't playing some ancient game, but something more modern.
Except for every time you kill something and they do a wooden ass death animation
MMod is so essential at this point I would almost say it's replaced vanilla HL2 for me as the defacto HL2 experience
I would also like to mention Transmissions Element 120 and my favorite HL2 mod before EZ2, Minerva Metastasis
Transmissions Element deserves more attention
i feel like the mirrored mod and the night mod is gonna make half life feel like a whole new game
Entropy: Zero 2 Feels Like Actual Valve Game
Overcharged Is Good But It Needs Some Serious Work

You forgot USS Darkstar that was released on the Sega Dreamcast. Some of the best level design for any level pack and its over 20 years old.
It would have been cool if you had included a short description of the mods like the story synapsis or something to explain what the mods are like.
This, "You need to play this mod NOW!" Okay, why? Simply telling someone "This mod is good!" without telling us WHY it's good is pretty pointless.
The only problem I have with brutal half life is that sometimes it feels like you are shooting at air, hit boxes are a little F up
Whats pretty cool about entropy zero is that they lowered the loudness of the smg

Yeah, NH1 and 2 are superb. Love those two mods.
What about Dark Interval? The quality of this mod isn't just Extremely good. It's gorgeous.
I'd say, I think it stands out so much, that it can even be compared with the original Half-Life 2.
(not saying other mentioned mods are any worse, but still it feels like that one is missing in the list)

Lots of good mods here I'm going to check out. I can't find any files to download on moddb for Operation Stablisation though? Any mod where you play as the Combine is an instant d/l for me and yes I've played the Entropy games. I'm a certified Combineaboo.
Just finished Entropy: Zero 2 yesterday. When people said it's the closest thing we have to half-life 3 they weren't lying.

i did try to play the beta 2 they had for brutal half-life and it wont let me play the game the game would just crash or get error where do i get crash or error from the office complex it wont even let me go so i may have to use the console to bypass it

I found Half-Life 1 mods easier to digest than Half-Life 2 mods, especially those with custom story.

Wish i could get a star wars conversion mod. like the campaign plays out as normal but Black mesa is an Imperial Research base, security is like corpo security and when the soldier grunts show up theyre Stormtroopers. Really i think i just want a star wars game that has nothing to do Jedi and is just a gritty star wars shooter, Republic commando is probs my favourite.

When playing brutal life I always get an error . It says something like NULL LINK something. So it's kinda troublesome
would be glad to have some informations what those mods are about. I mean I realize you kinda recommend or wanna show those mods, that's why they're in this video I suppose, but it would be nice to know what the mod is actually about and if it is an graphic overhaul, a mod to add stuff into the acctual game or a mod that adds more content or even brings an own story but yeah... guess we need to see for ourself. Anyways would been nice to know WHAT it is about since it is not always selfexplaining or clear what you dealing with just by looking at gameplay fotage...
