It is a half-paint room in Half-Life TWHL Tower 2 mod
The room's developer minimized Half Life so that it could be completed in 8 minutes
It seems that he has eased the campaign on Gordon Freeman.

this is kind of how memory actually works, time doesnt work the same way in memories. thats why waiting for a long time can seem awful in the present moment, but seems not as bad when remembering it
This is very close to how I remember half life too. Every time a scene comes up, I'm like oh yeah, it's that part. This was really cool to see.
We got miniature half-life instead of half-life 3 in 2024 and I guess I'll take it.

Honestly this Is a very cute mod , It reminds me of some lego playsets where you try to recreate the Essence of a Moment with as less bricks as possible but maintaining the playability :)

They couldn't attack sounds to non-entities. You can see that in the normal half life too.

@@sergentjohncaptain2557There are separate sound entities though. The reason they used barney as a sound emitter is to synchronize his animation and sounds of buttons.

I mean as in like trained actors in costumes, you get lazer guns, puppet headcrabs, large props for the gargantua, fake smoke and fog, and at the end you can enter a Black Mesa styled cafeteria and gift shop

unfortunately there is no "Surface Tension" in this mod
this feels like one of those 2017 VR games where every room is designed so you can reach everything while standing in one spot, because they were too afraid to just let players use thumbstick movement.

Realistically, this would've been Black mesa's budget, because while they only tested on Space-Time stuff, Aperture was already making turrets, rocket sentries, and sentient robots, something the military can actually use and safe to fund than the promise of Inter-Dimensional travel.
