Hello. I taught my baby to roll over back to tummy by grabbing her hand or leg and gently pulled her over. She finally did it on her own. Now we're working on tummy to back. It's taking a bit longer. Do you have any other suggestions?
FTM: came here to see what else I could do, found out baby is right on track and I need to be patient 😂 Side note: love the look of the ombre/balyage colour!
It's it bad that my baby turns more with her hips then her head and shoulder. She will put both feet in the air then lean them towards one direction. This starts her hips rolling over which pulls up her shoulder. However, she doesn't quite roll over.
She's 6 months now and this is how she does it, im sorry im not a native speaker (im Indonesian) so forgive me.if my deacription is lacking: she laid down one of her arm and stretch it in front of her, tilt her head on the direction of the strecth arm, shift her weight, move to lie on her side, and move her bottom with abit of force to lay back up again
Hi, my 6 month old twins don’t move their arm or hop towards where they’re head is rolling and they end up just arching their backs. Do you have any tips for that?
Thank you so much!! Babies usually begin rolling around 3-4 months. Some kiddos may take a bit longer. I would definitely check in with your pediatrician if not rolling by 6 months
@@nekoleamber Would you say they begin rolling at 3 months, as in they start getting to the point of rolling? Or do yo mean they fully roll? My 1st baby didnt start until 5 months, my 2nd baby started at 2 months and rolls well front to back and back to front at 3 months.. does that mean this baby will roll and walk sooner than my 1st? 1st crawled at 9 months (army crawl) proper crawl at 11 months and pulling up, then walking at 15 months
lvl3blasian did you try it with putting a mirror in front of the baby, or try to put things with contrast. Or what else can help is putting random objects in front of the baby, toys can get unintresting sometimes. If it’s cause the baby isn’t enough strong you can help her/him by putting a rolled towel or pillow underneath the baby so she lays a little bit upright.
When my baby tries to roll to her she loses her footing because she is always in a footie pajama. Could put her in a onesie help her to get the motion of rolling going ?
My son is 10 months old, he has hypertonia on extremeties and axial hypotonia. His ATNR is still present and no matter how many times I practice rolling over to the sides he doesn’t get it, he just doesn’t move unless I give him a push when laying on his back. Also, he’s always hated playing on his sides, it seems as if he feels he’s going to fall. He still can’t sit on his own but he’s gotten stronger with PT when sitting up. He wears a spio for support. What else can I do?
Hey Nikole! I’ve been trying your tips for rolling with my 4 mos old. He rolls almost completely over, but stops when he feels his elbow on side of him rolling touch the ground. He either chills there like 90 percent completely rolled over or rolls back. How can I help him?
So I had my twins at 25 weeks and for the first three months of their life’s they spent swaddled laying on their back with minimal interaction while in the NICU. They are now 5 months and 20 days old (but really should be 3 months and 13 days old) they cannot hold their heads up they are very interactive and smile and squeal and kick. When they do tummy time they can pick up their heads and turn it but they don’t use their hands... These are my first babies I have no idea of what I should do or how to help them.
Hi Nekole, hope you're well. Concerning the developmental milestones, what comes first between rolling/side-lying and sitting? My niece tends to roll towards objects within reach and ends up on her side. I'm not quite sure how to complete a roll onto her tummy. Is rolling a first sign of sitting up? She can sit up propped by pillows and when at an inclined position tries to bring herself up. How can we best support this and help the following without hurting her?
My son used to do that, he seemed eager to sit because of his reflux issues but in fact he was doing crunches to muscle his middle part and eventually roll. I was told by professionnals to never put baby in a position he hasnt naturally acquired yet. So I stopped making him sit and focused on side lying and rolling so he could roll when he was ready! Most babies master rolling at 6 months so dont worry!
Am i the only dad that had to watch all mama videos because wife is always busy with something else? I have question, my baby lack of courage/intention to reach something. He wants it, judging by his eyes moving focusing on the toy, but its like hes lazy to get it, either turn head or look at side. Hes 3 months+, what should i do
My baby turns to his belly but he doesn’t know how to turn back to his back. It’s specially hard at night since he keeps waking up and crying at night when on his belly
You start the video with "hey mama" I'm a dad trying to teach my baby to roll over, is this video for me? Why do you assume only women would watch this video? Odd
So glad i found your channel. My 6 month old hates tummy time.
Same with my baby

Hi. How did your baby roll over then? My baby is now in this stage. He put both his feet in the air and lean to the sideline but not quite roll over.
What about the movement after she's lying on her tummy/ supported by her hands? My baby can't roll back because her hands / and elbows are on the way

You are delightful! These were wonderful tips, thanks!
Love this! Do you have a video on helping them sit? My babe sits but leans way too far forward. Anyway I can help correct?
Thank you :)
Hi! Love your content! It’s awesome!! Question! At what age should my baby have this skill mastered?

Hey new dad here. My 3 month old hates tummy time. Is there anything I can do to get her to enjoy it

As a dad I dislike that all these videos say hey momma. Very insensitive. Like dads don't care about kids or are invested in them.

My baby is 3 month old but she does not rolled at all. But she like tummy time. Most of the she like to see in one direction only.
I wonder if autistic babies roll differently. my son is starting to roll a bit to his side but it doesn't like this order
Hi! My baby doesn't seem to know what to do with his legs when he gets into that side lying position to complete the roll. Any suggestions?

Any progress? Mine is 6 months and still doesn’t roll completely over. He used to favor left side too but got better

My baby is 8months old...can roll over from back to tummy but can roll over everywhere with the back... should I be concern?
Hi! I'm not clear on your question here. Can you clarify? Your baby can roll from back to tummy, but can NOT roll from tummy to back?

Dont rush it. Your baby is very young
My baby turns to his belly but he doesn’t know how to turn back to his back. It’s specially hard at night since he keeps waking up and crying at night when on his belly
Depending on the age, that is normal. I like to with babies in a side-lying position to help them learn to roll backwards.
Kids OT Help my baby is almost 7 months, he sleeps on his side sometimes and knows how to get back to his back from there, so odd
My 5 month old bt she is not roll over.
Wait till around 6 months. My son rolled over after 5.5 months
If your baby roll over plz reply me

Annoying that you started with "hey mama." I'm here as a father who wants to help his son.
Hey mama?!? How rude!!! Ffs dads look at these videos as well!!!
My baby is 4 months 10 days old ... She is not rolling .. is it normal or I have to worry about ...
My baby is 4months 3 days but doesn't roll lol
It’s normal!! Every baby is different. Don’t be worried
Starting with “hey mama.” Yikes. As if dads don’t help with babies

Hey Mama?
How old was your baby when he started to roll?
My son is 3 and a half months rolling onto his tummy. I want to capitalize on this, but don't know how. He can only roll towards his left shoulder.
