  • Are you running out of ideas to keep your kiddo occupied and semi-calm throughout the day? If so, check out this video where I breakdown some really effective sensory activities for kiddos and explain why so many parents are experiencing extremely active kiddos these days (*hint: proprioception)!

This came at a great time! My son has been wanted to play tag and chase and wrestle. I don’t always have the energy to play with him. But this is a great reminder that his play directs his needs and I need to work a little harder to meet them.

Thank you for this video. I just had my son, who is turning 2 in a week, diagnosed with autism. They specifically mentioned he has a proprioception sensory. This video really helps me understand his sensory as I am waiting for ABA to join with my son soon.

So my 3.5 yro seems to have a lot of proprioception struggles, but he also is really claustrophobic. I don't think a compression vest would help him, or even a weighted blanket. Do you have any ideas or suggestions that might help?

My son is 6 yers old if we turn off all the electronics. That. Is when he goes crazy and i feel like there is nothing. I can do. The vest you mention he can open easily abd throw it away

Hi I have a 6 and a half year old who seems to have issues with her vestibular and proprioceptive senses. Since starting school at 5 she has lost confidence and doesn't want to try anything new now. She has a very over responsive system and seems tired and floppy, sits in the W position. What can I do to get her to have more energy and to try these things. I've just started the brushing technique also only day 2. She struggles with that also.
