    Nice review. The boots look really nice and a good match for your bike and other gear. I have just bought some Altberg Hoggs and had the same problem with the boots being rather high making getting underneath the gear lever impossible. Fortunately, on the Tiger 800 you have a lot of adjustment on the lever so I was able to raise it to fit. The laces are a faff though!

      Thanks for watching. I’ve now worn them on five different rides. Really like these boots, Happy with the purchase. Enjoy the weekend!

    Basically, if your foot doesn't fit comfortably in these then you're the outlier of 20 thousand people +. lolol.
    "these are uncomfortable....crap!"
    I plan to try a pair on soon, I'm pretty interested in these for city/country road riding but wonder if they'll be incredibly hot during the summer.

      Thanks for watching and commenting. Yeah that is funny, those 20k people have messed up feet. They are comfortable and I’ve worn them in 102 weather for a couple hours. They weren’t too bad. But was happy to rip them off when I got home. My entire body was overheated 🥵

      @@Texas2Tires yeah, 102...not sure it matters whats on the feet at that point...it'll be hot. Thanks for the reply!

    Thinking about getting a pair of these, and you have the same bike as me. What are they like after 9 months. Have you tried them in the wet?

      I still really like them. I’ve only been in a couple light rain days, so can’t say I really was in the wet. They seem like they would do well in heavier rain.

    I just got a pair in the mail they seem just OK but I am worried about water, I think they are to low and water will find it's way in from the top, have you tried them out yet

      Thanks for watching and commenting. Yes I’ve been wearing them every time I ride. I never ride in the rain and no off roading for me and the RS. So unfortunately I can’t really answer your question about the rain. My riding pants easily cover over the tops of the boots, so even if I did find myself in the wet I doubt the rain would find its way in to the boots.

    How is the breathability considering they are GTX. I wanted to get them, but it’s summer here in I sis which makes me apprehensive. Great review!

    • @Texas2Tires
      @Texas2Tires  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for checking out the video. This will be my first Summer wearing them. Temperatures here in Texas stay around 98-105 during the hot months. So I'll have to see how they go. I might have swimming pools of sweat in my boots???? I still love the ease of putting them on and taking them off and they look very cool in my opinion.

    • @CorporateAdventurer
      @CorporateAdventurer ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Texas2Tires bought them and couldn’t agree more! Super comfortable and though they are GTX the breathability is much better than my TCX boots. Thanks for the response!

      @@CorporateAdventurer Great news that they are breathable and not to hot, so I guess I can look forward to dry socks this Summer. What region are you in and what do you ride?

      @@Texas2Tires india so they are being tested in really hot Indian summer. Yeah I wear dry socks and I ride 850 GSA

    • @Texas2Tires
      @Texas2Tires  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@CorporateAdventurer Oh yes, India seems to be a hot place in the Summer. I just checked good old google and it said Titlagarh is one of the hottest spots in India during the Summer. If that is true, hope you aren't there. Actually the temperature right now in Mumbai is about the same as Texas. It was 82 F / 27.8 C. I just made a video and related your good news about breathability : ) That video will go out in a couple days. It's really short, but I have some work to do now before bed. Enjoy the rest of your Summer and that GS 850, cool bike.

    Fit/size? What size did you purchase vs your Timberlands?

    • @Texas2Tires
      @Texas2Tires  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I usually wear size 8.5 or 9 depending on the maker. For the KLIM, I bought 9 and they fit nice. If you are wearing a half size like 8.5 I would go with 9 because of the ankle pucks and padded protection take up some space.

    How is the off bike walking now?,, thanks for video

    • @Texas2Tires
      @Texas2Tires  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's fine, but I don't really walk around too much in them. Generally I'm at a bike meet up with them on and just walk from the bike to the restaurant / pub chat with friends then walk back to the bike. I wouldn't wear them if I needed to walk around a lot or go hiking etc....

    • @Texas2Tires
      @Texas2Tires  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sure they should be fine. The other day I walked around and stood in place at a bike meet up for about 3 hours and they were comfortable.

      Then there’s the Klim Ridgeline. Could be a good candidate.
