    EXCELLENT tutorial!!!! It was in done in easy step by step with simple easy to understand layman's terms. I was nervous about altering a pair of men's pants for a friend, but, you set my nerves and anxiety at bay! I especially appreciate your HONESTY about the trouble with machine sewing the belt loop back on to the waist band! THANK YOU!!!

    I feel your pain. I appreciate you showing the trouble with stitching the belt loop. Those simple things can oddly be the most challenging at times. Thanks for the instruction. I need to take in my husbands pants. It will be the first time for me to make alterations on a man’s suit pants. I sew dresses, not men’s clothes. But I need to learn.

    You can always just take off only the bottom of the belt loop off to save trouble! Hope this helps

      After reviewing the video, it looks like I was using my Clover Chaco Liner Marker. It opens up, and you put chalk inside. Clover makes quilting supplies, so they are usually in the quilting notions department.
