On October 15th 2014 Geography now embarked on a mission to create informative profiles on every member country of the UN starting with the Afghanistan episode. Little did anyone know that it would take 10 years to complete. It's been the most amazing journey that has given me some of the best people in my life and truly unforgettable stories. I want to thank anyone and everyone that has ever been a part of the show whether it was a brief cameo or a full on co-hosting segment. You guys really do make up the channel because you guys are the world. I hope you enjoy this final chapter in this series. This truly was the most amazing thing I've ever accomplished and it's all thanks to you. -Barbs.

Hi @boltlighting, it was after the Vietnam episode that I found out he'd is inviting some of his subscribers for the Zimbabwe ep. I just got lucky, I'm one of the first 18 who signed up for the trip. 😄
I work with 4 Zimbabweans in my accounting firm, here in south africa. they are the hardest working people I've ever met, they are all ridiculously intelligent individuals, and they are all so kind, it's a pleasure and privilege to work with them. Fun fact, Zimbabweans are the most educated nation of people in Africa.

I still remember my high school geography teacher randomly showing us the Bhutan episode back in 2016. He never showed us any other episodes the whole semester, but that one video still sticks out in my mind. You guys made learning Geography fun, and helped ingrain it as one of my greatest passions.
10 Years - What a journey this has been. I was never really interested in geography and never heard of your channel until covid took over and I saw myself sitting in front of my computer for hours and hours scrolling through TH-cam recommendations and finally discovering your channel. It was like an instant addiction. I've been watching every single episode, sometimes up to ten episodes a day. You guys are all great and everyone contributed so much to the show. Since we share the same taste in music, Keith has always been like a friend I've never talked to. Much love to all of you guys, I hope you'll do well. Cheers from Germany
Can't believe that after 9 years of tuning in for me, it's over. In a way we all grew up together. Thank you, Barbs. You are literally an inspiration. Best of luck in any and all future projects.
Here I am, 10 years later, still watching this channel because my love of geography never waned. It has been one hell of a journey from beginning to end. I remember seeing a thumbnail of someone being punched in the face with the flag of Chad in the corner. I thought “What the heck, this looks fun.” And I subscribed within minutes. I’ve been through elementary, middle, and high school, and here I am 3rd year of college still here watching these hilarious fools talk about our world. Thank you, Barbs, for the journey of a lifetime for all of us. Thank you for all the laughs and knowledge. Thank you for 10 years of entertainment. And here’s to 10 more!

Damn. I remembered as a highschooler I found your Brazil episode thinking "nice, a channel doing something i'm looking for!!" And got real excited. I immediately press the subscribe button. Back then I thought oh maybe at some point Barb would eventually get busy or abandon this project due to issues but this channel keeps growing, not even covid pandemic stopped this channel! And now I'm already a working adult, and still immediately watch GN whenever you upload a new country video. Feels like growing together with an old friend. Thank you for the amazing journey, you've been an excellent companion. Stay cool Barbs! Edit: I wrote this comment before I watch the video, now I have watched the video and I nearly shed a tear. To put it into perspective just how long this series has gone on for: This show started while I was in middle school. Now I have graduated university with a masters degree!
Man oh man, we have reached the final episode. I can’t believe it just happened! We made it! We made it to Zimbabwe! I can’t believe it happened! One of my first episodes I watched from Geography Now (I believe) was Denmark. I was a teenager when I first watched the series around a decade ago. As a young kid who loved Geography and wanted to learn more, no other channel at the time offered good Geography like you did, Paul. Now, I am an adult entering my next stage of life and have traveled to many different parts of the world. I would like to say thank you, Paul and others on the show, for all these years. Your channel was informative, entertaining, and fun. Glad to have been apart of this wild journey. It must’ve been a difficult accomplishment. You had both great and not so great times. The good and the bad. In times of triumph and times of despair. However, it takes pure dedication to teach your love of Geography to the world on every country on the planet. But the truth of it all, it has not only made a huge impact in my life but just about every life in all corners of the globe. To reiterate, thank you, Paul, for everything and others who contributed to monumental feat. It has been a wild ride and I’m glad I was part of the journey. I’m excited to see the next chapter of your journey and see what’s in store for us in the future. So once again, thank you Paul for everything you’ve done, not for me but around the world. Best of luck to your future endeavors. Can’t wait to see what’s next! God Bless.
It was such a pleasure to see this series grow and evolve over a decade, and seeing it end makes me a bit sad for its ending. Hope you do well in the future for whatever you plan soon!

I'm so happy for your accomplishment and I'm really excited to see what comes next. I'll be here supporting you. Greetings from Buenos Aires, Argentina!
Can’t believe it has taken you exactly a decade to teach us about every country on Earth. This experience might have been very long, but I enjoyed every aspect of it. I am proud of myself for taking part in this amazing journey and learning so much about the world from you. This was one hell of a trip across Earth but I’m glad that our last flight is over. Thank you so much for the insights that you have given us about our beloved planet. We hope to see more geography related videos from you in the future, even if this series has already came to a close. Best regards from me, your fans, and the masters / veterans of geography.
From the time I randomly found you on my dad's youtube recommendations when I was 9 to me now graduating highschool with the ending of this channel. I am proud of all the work Barbs has done and how this channel gave me a love for maps and geography. Thank you

7 years ago, I searched "geography shows" on TH-cam and found this channel. Although I still have 30 countries to watch, I thank Barbs and the crew for giving me something to look forward to watch. Also, I have shown my young children about world geography and how other people around the world live in a fun and informative way.
Barbs, I basically got into geography and learning about different countries and cultures because of you. (I know it’s not the end lol, but) This channel has genuinely been something that has helped me discover a passion of mine, and whether you decide to do territories or not, I don’t know, but I know that I will keep supporting what you do, the realest. Funniest. Most bad*as TH-camr-showhost out there. Love you man, thanks for everything, your viewer from Armenia 🥹🇦🇲❤️
And the final country episode has come. Gotta say, it completely stuck the landing Barbs. I have watched since the Germany episode (I am German myself) and have learned so much with each new episode. These episodes shaped me from a young teenager with almost no geography knowledge to a young man with rather massive geography knowledge. This show, alongside many other forms of educational content on other TH-cam channels, has given me a large amount of knowledge about and interest in all the wondrous places and people on this giant, beautiful mess of a planet we call our home. So thank you Barbs for all that you've accomplished with the show. And just know that I, alongside many others, will stick around for whatever you decide to do next.
I started watching this show some time after the release of the video about Chile (my country). It was love at first sight. The way you made funny jokes and actually talk about many different geographical aspects. Watched every single episode since then. Thank you for everything Barbs, I'm looking forward to this new chapter.
Barbs, I have been following you from the very beginning and cannot tell you how thankful I am to have been a part of this incredible journey. That moment at 46:43 really hit me. 😢 I can’t wait to see where you’ll take us next!
You took the words directly out of my mouth, Julius!
It was an honor..
You are most certainly lucky! I hope you can do more for yourself in the future!
How did you manage to get an invite for a trip to Zimbabwe?
Hi @boltlighting, it was after the Vietnam episode that I found out he'd is inviting some of his subscribers for the Zimbabwe ep. I just got lucky, I'm one of the first 18 who signed up for the trip. 😄
Bro, when I watched your first video about Afghanistan when I was 9 years, i'm 20 years old and I understand how fast time flies😢😥
I was 4 years old when I saw afghanistan video now I'm 26 time flies
"we got a time traveler here"
I was 19, now I’m 30
Congratulations on completing the milestone! You finally completed my childhood quest!
It’s the 9th. Still pretty good though. Seychelles is the first
@jadonclifton - You took your sources from sketchy blogs? Zimbabweans are the most educated
Thank you 🙏🏾

this is so bittersweet! started watching when i was 13, and i'm now applying to geography master's programs. i know for a fact geography now helped to sustain my passion for geography, and for that, i'll be forever grateful. thank you guys so much for all the joy and laughs your work has brought, and i'm super excited to see what's next

DONT CARE + MY VIDEOS ARE BETTER THAN HIS!
I still remember my high school geography teacher randomly showing us the Bhutan episode back in 2016. He never showed us any other episodes the whole semester, but that one video still sticks out in my mind. You guys made learning Geography fun, and helped ingrain it as one of my greatest passions.
Bhutan seems like a heaven on earth.

I remember when Australia and Afghanistan came out, how FAR this channel came from there was astounding. I’m sad this series is over, but here’s to new ones. Love ya barbs! ❤️
Same! Saw the Australia episode come up in my TH-cam the week it was uploaded, and been here since
Started with Barbados or Bangladesh when I was 10 in 5th grade. im watching this as I'm 20 and in college…

I’m here since Benin, what an incredible journey 😢 you’re the first TH-cam channel that I followed. I was 20 now I’m 30, You have been my 20s
I am so honored that I was able to apart of the Zimbabwe trip with you. It was a once in a lifetime experience and it was absolutely incredible. I started watching a bit before Hannah came on the channel and this has been my favorite channel ever since. Thank you for being a huge inspiration, not just to me but to every person that has come across your videos. I can't wait to see where you take the channel next!
Call me peanut butter end jelly because I couldn't be on that trip X(
Yeah I only watch GN videos and never featured in any just like many others but it feels like we all grow together as fellow GN viewers through all the years.
Will be waiting for what you have in store next!

Huge congratulations, Barbs! I've been watching you since the Chile episode. I liked it so much that I went back to the Afghanistan video and watched all of them. Can’t believe it has taken you exactly a decade to teach us about every country on Earth. This experience might have been very long, but I enjoyed every aspect of it. And the final country episode has come. Gotta say, it completely stuck the landing Barbs. I have watched since the Germany episode (I am German myself) and have learned so much with each new episode.
