THIS IS WHAT WE NEEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!! Really didn't want to cut my dash up for a double din... Pros - Controls work + We got the new iPhone 69 as our headunit Cons - Gotta look down for Navigation. Oh well

I’m using the SWI-RC-1, and I’m having issues with mine, radio works but the controls doesn’t work and somehow I’m not getting power indications from the PAC anymore, initially I got power but that’s before I connected the 3 and 14 pin wires. I’m assuming my PAC took a shit :( ?
Can someone please try what happens when you plug in an Android? Could I use Android Auto if I plugged a AI box into the head unit and connected with my phone to the AI box?
I've just ordered all the items you listed for the steering wheel controls. I do have a quick question, though. I have an AP2, and I'm wondering if the two wires you tapped into are the same?
from what I have read online the s2000 radio harness is the same. Headunits from all years are plug & play compatible with cars of all years, however the accessories such as the trunk-mounted CD changers are not.
In the video you mentioned they sent you the wrong harness/module. If i order the module linked, will i have to repin the module like you did or is there a link with the right harness/module?

exactly what we needed
Brother i just installed mines following your instructions. Works perfect!!!
i love that! bump it with the top down
Just wondering for PIN14 why you need to slice the wire from the original cable and not just from the harness adaptor?
these steering wheel control wires come from the car's harness but do not have a corresponding wire in the radio harness adaptor.
Such a clean install! Great that you could retain the oem controls! Do you know if the radio connects to Android auto?
no android auto...I heard they are going to release another model later that has it
@@Turks-Garage That's good to know for the android guys like me
@@TheJMediaAndroid update is out now apparently!
there is an update via usb stick for android auto now
thanks for the video! well made and very clear.
no problem, glad it helped.
Thanks bro! Did those red wire harness connectors/clips come with the Axxess controller? Did you have to shave the wires at all?
They didnt come with it- got them at good ol' Harbor Freight and I didn't shave the wires
@@Turks-Garage that is so convenient! What are they called exactly? I need to buy those.
@@Turks-Garage Oh ok. Could you please tell me what they're called? I need to get them from HF asap. Thanks!

@@Turks-Garage thanks a lot!
I'm curious is there no other alternative besides Modifry if we wanted to also get the "mute" function working too?
I believe there is but I havent tested it.
