Serendipity is often the best experiences. And for me, it's the future. My husband & I have this conversation all the time!
2:13 - 12:33 - 11:40 - 14:34 - Funniest bits of an excellent video, full of beautiful places and a very philosophical Samuel as well.
Fantastic video guys this series of Japan is amazing
thank you. I always enjoy and appreciate your hard work
Love the videos! How come they have only 6k views?! This content is better than 99% of travel videos I’ve seen.
I'm glad to see you two visiting country side.
Takayama is a real treat. I was there from December 3 to the 6th and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a very restful stay. You did a lot!
That's great to hear. Glad you had a nice visit to Takayama!

Aww, glad you like them, Helen! We're happy to hear that. 😊
My favorite channel! I’m happy to see you guys enjoying Takayama. I consider Takayama as my home away from home. You guys are a great example of how to speak English for learners. I’m looking forward to the next episode.
Great stuff guys. We were in takayama in November and we agree, whilst it's more popular with crowds than it was before, if you wander just a little bit you can find nice piece's of quiet. Safe travels. ❤
Hello guys! Have fun and ecnjoy! Beautiful places ,amazing and relaxing!
Thank you very much. It was nice to revisit again! 😊
You guys really know where to pick your spots. Stunning is Takayama. The retro museum . What a find. You have the ultimate guide. Hope you guys are doing ok. Sending you much love❤❤ from Harriet, Jim and Yuki
Nice review, loved it ! Good luck
Glad you enjoyed it!
Think Kyoto without the crowds, with mountains that make Mount Fuji look like a molehill. It is like nature's beauty served with a side of tranquility! Kidding aside, this is exactly why I am fond of countryside. I remembered the last time I visited Japan to film one of our TV show episode and I am now looking forward to have another visit!
Yes takayama was our first ryokan stay about 5 years ago. ❤
Awesome 😁
Hola Audrey y Samuel. Gracias por hacerme conocer otros países Takayama es hermoso, ojalá subas video con tu papá Daniel y Toguchi.
Saludos desde Córdoba Edgardo 🍷.
Loved it. I have seen the Retro Museum before on John Daub or Chris Broad's you tube channel. I would love to visit. To answer Sam's question, I would rather time travel to the past as I do not feel too optimistic about the future. Thanks guys.
Back in time
This video's great, really enjoyable. The part showing the traditional house was very interesting, I like the way you showed its interior. Audrey, I hope you didn't break anything at 12:34 😎
LOL, thankfully I didn't break anything! I just felt like a giant walking through the house and nearly fell over on the steps. 😅
Once again 🎉❤👍🏼
TAKAYAMA and the retro museum are in my bucket list but funny fact we just arrived in Dublin and I was watching your video chilling out after a travel day and you mentioned DDR so I investigated where it was in Germany and that’s Berlin! I’ve never heard of it so I think we will check it out tomorrow! Cheers Audrey for this random comment I’ve picked on perfect timing 🤭.
3.30 Diner usually breakfast for me 😅😊we’ll almost 😅
I’m also going to check dates for the festival and hotels availability 👍🏼 another great tip! Your vegan option traditional meal looked del ish I’m going to google map and pin 📍 all these
Take care
Sabrina 🇫🇷🇬🇧
I just booked accommodations for the fall festival. Literally had to call around and ask directly ( this is normal, as they don't always 'open' those months/days for booking on 3rd party sites) . I found only one place that was wiling to open the books for an October booking during the festival. So excited.
You guys had it all in this one. We have not been to a cat cafe in about a year and miss the kitty love. However, we are planning to get a cat sometime over the summer or early fall. Enjoyed this video so much - you guys know how to travel.
Very interesting trip, we go to China, every year but we are planning to go to Japan one day too.
I love your video style , l shall follow you from now on ! Takayama looks pretty hilly everywhere - can you get around here without too many bouts of climbing?
Nice mix of different things you’ve done. I’m Japanese, but I feel like copying what you did. Well done & thanks for giving me an idea of Takayama visit.
How is the Hotel restoration Coming along? .. no updates for months
11:40 Awwwwwwww!
“I’m old enough to be retro” lol it’s funny when we suddenly realize that. Time flies.
Haha, it sure does! It's so strange seeing our childhood toys already in a museum.
Great videos - live Japan. We are in Argentina for 6 weeks. In El Calafate now and heading to Bareloche. When are you headed back?
Really great. What is the average temperature in that part of Japan 🇯🇵 when you were there
Hello guys, excellent video!!👍🏼🙏
How many night do you recommend in Takayama?
I would say 2-3 days is a good amount of time, especially if you're going to plan a day trip to Shirakawa-go. This trip was a bit shorter for us because it was our second time visiting!
Deberían ir a Ishigaki e Iriomote, el "Japón tropical" bien al sur de las islas Yaeyama en la prefectura de Okinawa. Hermoso su viaje por Japón.
"not a fan of dolls"....I always believed I was the only one!
Excellent~😻ニャ~👍️
What time of year was this filmed? I'm going in September and I'm trying to gauge what to expect 😅
信濃路から飛騨路へ。最高のコースですね。昔の日本を感じられる場面が多かったかと思います!!
Sam: so is "vintage" older than "retro" ? I was worried that you, Audrey and Yulia were considered Retro but worried that I was classified as vintage...😳
I also always wanted to travel to the future but now as an adult I'm a little scared. I would probably travel back 100 years or so.
May I know the name of restaurant you went for lunch?
I feel old if you don't even know what streetfighter is.
I enjoyed your videos in Argentina! What are good websites to view houses for sale in Argentina?
