    Thank you, I really needed this. I’ve often thought I needed everything to be perfect to be happy, and delayed so many opportunities because I wasn’t “prepared enough”

    Thanks for the tips! I try to emphasise to the kids I work with that you can enjoy something without being good at it :D

      @ oh yes! If you’d like to add, if it’s relevant, my work focuses a lot on helping kids develop a growth mindset and this is one of the reasons I try to emphasise to children that they can enjoy something while also not being “good” at it. We also discuss what being “good” at something means because it can be subjective too. Being good or the best at something shouldn’t be the (main) reason you enjoy something. 🙌🏼
